<text>The Covid-19 pandemic that spreaded around the world in March 2020 has changed the nation’s education landscape. Standard Operating Procedures that demand presence at respective residences have made online learning one of the best platforms that replace face-to-face learning in educational institutions across the country. Thus, this study aims to propose an effective online language learning strategy to be a reference for educators and students to master language skills using post-Covid19 educational technology. This research employs quantitative methods cross sectional studies supported by qualitative data. The research instruments is questionnaires. A total of 280 respondents consisting of university students in the Arabic field at Malaysian universities answered the questionnaire. The results showed that the respondents know how to learn through online learning with a mean rate of 4.24 and the respondents agreed that the instructions given during online learning should be clear with a highest mean rate of 4.46. Among the online learning strategies used by students are always sharing opinions during online learning, responding using chat rooms to engage in discussions and making notes to improve understanding. Respondents are also satisfied with online learning platforms such as google meet, Webex and zoom.

<text>Illegal distribution of digital data is a common danger in the film industry, especially with the rapid spread of the Internet, where it is now possible to easily distribute pirated copies of digital video on a global scale. The Watermarking system inserts invisible signs to the video content without changing the content itself. The aim of this paper is to build an invisible video watermarking system with high imperceptibility. Firstly, the watermark is confused by using the Arnold transform and then dividing into equal, non-overlapping blocks. Each block is then embedded in a specific frame using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), where the HL band is used for this purpose. Regarding the method of selecting the host frames, the chaotic map (tent map) was used to choose a number of frames which are greater or equal to the number of blocks of the watermark. The host frame selection method makes the discovery of the watermark information by illegal means very complicated. The experimental results show that the proposed method can produce excellent transparency with robustness against some attacks where the average_ PSNR reaches to 72.806.</text>

<text>Previous research into multimedia learning has mainly focused on cognitive factors to investigate different instructional conditions and design principles. Emotional aspects have so far been widely neglected. This study investigates how the cheerful emotional interface design influenced learners’ cognitive processes, emotional valences, learning outcomes, and subjective experience. This study used the PRISMA statement to identify the major themes from the literature. Following the strict inclusion and exclusion criteria for selecting records, we identified 47 articles for the analysis. This study used the VOS viewer for the themes using the content analysis and key term occurrences. The result shows two significant pieces, cognitive outcomes and affective outcomes, further divided into cognitive processes, emotional valences, learning outcomes, and subjective experience. In addition, the findings showed that learners using the cheerful emotional design had more positive emotions and higher comprehension and transfer test scores. Furthermore, learners who received the cheerful emotional design saw the materials as less challenging and expended more mental effort digesting them than learners who received the neutral design. They reported better motivation, contentment, and perception of the learning materials.

<text>Our paper advocates the preparation of future mathematics teachers for the use of game-based learning and gamification technologies. For this purpose, we created a university course that is dedicated to familiarizing the students with basic concepts of game-based learning and gamification and to conveying direct experience with their use. We support the concept and activities in this course by the positive results of the research on the opinions of 115 students. We hope that the positive results and our description of the course will be an inspiration for the broader incorporation of game-based learning and gamification technologies into the training of future mathematics teachers. Limitations of our research are the research sample, we investigated students’ reactions only at the author’s home university. Therefore, in the future, the research could be done with a broader sample and studying more in detail the students’ beliefs related to game-based learning and gamification before and after the course to get a better view of their development.</text>

<text>Indonesia’s Vision 2045 is an essential basis to determine the direction of the country’s development in line with four main pillars which include the development of human resources (HR). This involves producing quality, healthy, intelligent, adaptive, innovative, and skilled human resources with character. The achievement of this goal requires the improvement of the competence and professional certification quality towards ensuring HR are reliable and competent in different fields such as the vocational area which involves Informatics Engineering (IT). Therefore, this research was conducted based on the gap observed in HR which is indicated by a lower proportion of Indonesian workers in the IT field compared to other ASEAN countries. It was also observed that the assessment process and results of the Junior Mobile programmer scheme by the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) for Digital Technology have not been optimally tested. This is indicated by the fact that the assessment activities are being conducted without the full implementation of a centralized and systematic technology-based system, thereby causing problems in the remote assessment process. Moreover, professional associations, academia, and industry were not involved in designing a tested and reliable assessment model. I this research was conducted from March 2022 to December 2023 with the trial subjects from the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) training program, Vocational School Graduate Academy (VSGA) of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics. There were 40 sessions which consist of 20 for the experimental class and 20 for the control class. Furthermore, the data collection instruments included questionnaires, documentation, interview guides, observations, and competency tests while descriptive and quantitative analyses were conducted through the I'ken V and factor analysis tests using the LISREL and SPSS applications.

<text>In the realm of robotics and interactive systems, gender recognition is a crucial problem. Considering the several uses it has in security, web search, human-computer interactions, etc., gender recognition from facial photos has garnered a lot of attention. The need to use and enhance gender recognition techniques is felt more strongly today due to a significant development in the design of facial recognition systems. Relatively speaking to other approaches, the progress gained in this area thus far is not exceptional. Thus, a novel method has been adopted in this study to improve accuracy in comparison to earlier research. To create the best rate of accuracy and efficiency in the suggested method of this research, we choose a minimal set of characteristics. Testing on the FERET and UTK-Face datasets reveals that our suggested algorithm has a lower degree of inaccuracy. In this article, the input image of the person's face is pre-processed to extract the right features from the face once the person's face has been recognized. Gender separation is achieved using Multi-class Support Vector Machine (SVM) Classifiers after features from normalized images have been extracted using Histogram Oriented Gradient (HOG), Gabor Filters, and Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF), as well as their combination to select the most appropriate feature from them as input for gender classification. As a feature reduction feature, the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) algorithm is also employed. Using the proposed approach, 98.75% gender recognition precision has been accomplished on the FERET database and a runtime performance of 0.4 Sec. on the UTK-Face database, 97.43% gender recognition accuracy has been accomplished and a runtime performance of 0.5 Sec.</text>

<text>In the past decade, traditional networks have been utilized to transfer data between more than one node. The primary problem related to formal networks is their stable essence, which makes them incapable of meeting the requirements of nodes recently inserted into the network. Thus, formal networks are substituted by a Software Defined Network (SDN). The latter can be utilized to construct a structure for intensive data applications like big data. In this paper, a comparative investigation of Deep Neural Network (DNN) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques that uses various feature selection techniques is undertaken. The ML techniques employed in this approach are decision tree (DT), Naïve Bayes (NB), Support Vector Machine (SVM). The proposed approach is tested experimentally and evaluated using an available NSL–KDD dataset. This dataset includes 41 features and 148,517 samples. To evaluate the techniques, several estimation measurements are calculated. The results prove that DT is the most accurate and effective approach. Furthermore, the evaluation measurements indicate the efficacy of the presented approach compared to earlier studies.</text>
