<text>The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operates based on a numerical control program generated semi-automatically by a Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system or manually by the operator. Repeated practice is required to operate a CNC machine. For an inexperienced operator (student), the practicum requires extensive use of materials and cutting instruments. In the meantime, the number of laboratory equipment for the CNC programming practicum remains limited, and the 3-axis CNC milling machine training unit is inadequate for the number of students. For this reason, we need a medium that can simulate the machining process to aid students in their early stages of learning. This research aims to create a mobile application for milling machine visualization based on augmented reality. This augmented reality (AR) application, "MM: CTU 3-Axis," or Machine Milling CNC Training Unit 3-Axis, was designed with 3D virtual objects to provide students with knowledge and practical experience. The application development model used Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This research yields an Android-based augmented reality (AR) application called "MM: CTU 3-Axis" that does not require markers. The development and verification results demonstrated that this application could aid in learning CNC programming and machining practicum, as well as reduce the cost of using cutting tools and the cost of using materials due to repeated experiments on CNC machines.</text>

<text>This paper traces the development of a mobile application designed to simplify and support learning in nursing education. This application is based on the principles of dynamic formative evaluation, a method that encourages student involvement in the formative assessment process and supports student learning through formative feedback. A formative assessment model was derived from these principles and informed the application’s design. This mobile application project, which ran from February to September 2020, aimed to contribute to the improvement of formative assessment practices through the development of a learner-centered assessment tool and the identification of key formative processes within the application. The application’s functionality was based on the needs of the actors, which were analyzed according to Black and William’s theoretical perspectives on formative assessment and Keller’s motivational model; both were used to inform the pedagogical design of the application. This application is intended for nursing teachers working in ISPITS in Morocco and student nurses enrolled in the professional license cycle in these training institutes</text>

<text>Due to the increased number of cars, outdoor parking is one of the critical problems. Moreover, the management of the parking system is also considered a difficult task. Humans, on the other hand, were acclimated to efficiently parking their automobiles by providing them with the precise location of parking in advance of their arrival. As a result of human inefficiency, it was unsuccessful and ultimately increased the compliance cost. As a result of the development of the notion of the Internet of Things. A lot of systems were installed regarding smart parking systems that are decreasing the cost but also contain a huge impact on the reduction of emissions from cars. While it is possible to integrate Internet of Things (IoT) devices into automobiles, such an approach will necessitates the deployment of additional infrastructure, which will raise the cost, and also it is not feasible within current infrastructure configurations. Then there's the fact that CCTV technology is widely available and also small enough to fit into any parking area without being noticeable. In this paper, Convolution Neural Network (CNN) based smart parking system is designed and implemented. The CNN is used to detect vacant and occupied parking spaces through CCTV cameras and provide feedback to the passengers. Furthermore, the proposed approach is using CNR and PKLot datasets for ensuring the effectiveness of the model. This was developed to solve the issues of time, cost, and accuracy with the existing systems. As a result, the proposed model provides excellent results in terms of accuracy. Moreover, it is cost-effective and saves time.</text>

<text>Facial expressions constitute one of the most effective and instinctive methods that allow people to communicate their emotions and intentions. In this context, the both Machine Learning (ML) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have been used for emotion recognition. Efficient recognition systems are required for good human-computer interaction. However, facial expression recognition is related to several methods that impact the performance of facial recognition systems. In this paper, we demonstrate a state-of-the-art of 65% accuracy on the FER2013 dataset by leveraging numerous techniques from recent research and we also proposed some new methods for improving accuracy by combining CNN architectures such as VGG-16 and Resnet-50 with auxiliary datasets such as JAFFE and CK. To predict emotions, we used a second approach based on geometric features and facial landmarks to calculate and transmit the feature vector to the SVM model. The results show that the ResNet50 model outperforms all other emotion prediction models in real time by maximizing.</text>

<text>Conventional learnings have given way to methods aided by technological advances. The approach known as Student-Centered Learning (SCL) is the foundation of e-learning. Furthermore, SCL demands students to be self-motivated to complete courses and engage with the offered learning content. Programming is one of the most important subjects to study independently and with the aid of an instructor. The need for graduates with programming and computational skills in the field of web design continues to receive widespread attention from the industry. However, problems such as low student engagement are often encountered in learning about programming concepts and syntax. Gamification is an instructional approach to facilitate learning and boost motivation through game elements, mechanics, and thinking. Therefore, this research aims to discuss the development of Gamification-based e-learning to increase student engagement and motivation, especially in HTML and CSS web design. This system was tested with 3 methods, including unit, system, and user testing. In user testing, this study involved 264 students from computer backgrounds to validate the system. The results show that the e-learning system can perform well according to the expected specifications.</text>

<text>The fast progress of mobile devices and the popularity of mobile applications in the market requires complex software to be run on mobile devices without issues. Mobile devices are known as handhelds and they have different characteristics such as size, resolution, battery life and processing power. These are limitations to consider when developing an M-learning application, which can make it difficult to design and develop mobile applications for different mobile devices. Design Patterns, a set of tried and tested solutions for common problems were originally designed for desktop computers, so application of these patterns in M-learning applications might not meet its requirements such as adaptation of the content to the context of the device mobile used by learners. However, mobile design patterns that have been adapted or designed for such an environment can be used to overcome the challenges and limitations of M-learning application development. In this paper we try to propose an approach to engineering design patterns allowing the development of M-learning applications to provide an adapted content taking into account the context of device mobile used by learners. We named these patterns: “Mobile design patterns”.</text>

<text>Virtual reality (VR) has emerged as a major tool in this field of research and education development. However, many challenges arise for students during the course of instruction and learning. The learning process, the placement of support assessment variables, and the behavioral intention to continue using it within the learning spectrum are crucial to the success of virtual reality in the educational sector. The goals of this study are to inquire into the degree to which VR is now being utilized in the field of education. In addition, Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data since it provided an applicable approach to use across the interviews, many methods combined into this study. The study polled 32 teachers and analyzed the results with advanced analysist tools. All of the proposed points were determined using the data analysis.

<text>Abstract— One way to identify slow learners is with an IQ (Intelligence Quotient) test. However, in rural schools, facilities for conducting IQ tests are very difficult to obtain, usually only in big cities. Whereas student identification is very necessary before students register for elementary schools, in order to determine students' abilities, so that later students can be facilitated according to their learning needs. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that aims to identify slow learners in rural schools. The participants involved were all students in four schools in one village in Indonesia. Data were obtained by conducting interviews with teachers, sorting student report cards, observing the learning process, and administering tests. The results showed that based on interviews with teachers, sorting student report cards, observing the learning process, and giving tests, there were 17 students identified as slow learners. Among them are 6 female students and 11 male students. In addition to the IQ test, the identification of slow learners can be done by interviewing teachers, viewing student report cards, observing the learning process in class, and giving tests to students. Thus each teacher can identify each student easily, this will be very helpful for teachers in rural schools.
