<text>Vocational education graduates should have expertise competencies according to their fields so that it is easy to fill the job market, but this condition is not in line with expectations. BPS data as of February 2020 still shows the open unemployment rate, which is dominated by SMK graduates, at 8.49%, meaning that it is the highest-ranking contributor to open unemployment. One indication of this high percentage is the lack of work skills for vocational school graduates in the world of work. This lack of work competence is indicated because the learning process is not integrated with the real world of work. Therefore, improvement steps are sought through a learning process that integrates school learning with the real world of work by developing media that support learning activities with the real world of work. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design an Android-based interactive lean manufacturing application to improve the work skills of vocational students. This study uses the 4D development method (four-Ds) for the development of android-based interactive lean manufacturing applications and uses a survey method for validity and this AR application will be validated by 3 experts. The results of this study indicate that the validation test of android-based interactive lean manufacturing applications is included in the valid category. So, it can be concluded that the Android-based interactive lean manufacturing application technology has been valid to be used in the learning process.</text>

<text>Sharing economy services are growing very quickly, including with successful implementations such as mobile ridehailing services, where by consumers and drivers can coordinate to share rides. This research investigates factors that are affecting consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing services in developing countries. The research data was collected in June 2021 from Jordanian consumers using an online questionnaire. The collected data was then analyzed to verify the research hypothesizes using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The empirical findings indicate that personalized benefits positively attract consumers to use mobile ridehailing applications. The findings also show that consumers’ privacy concerns negatively affect consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing applications. Moreover, the findings also show that the role of laws and regulations is significant in such contexts as it decreases the negative interaction between privacy concerns and consumers’ intention to use ridehailing applications. Accordingly, this research suggests that ridehailing practitioners should focus on providing more convienent services and at the same time governments and policy makers should provide protective legislations to overcome user’s privacy concerns.</text>

This study aims to build markerless VR-AR (Virtual Reality-Augmented Reality) as Android-based teaching materials for construction engineering students in Polytechnic. VR-AR based teaching materials that have been established can reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 without reducing learning quality. This research used the V-model method, which is divided into two parts, particularly development and testing activities. Testing is performed by developers and examiners using ISO 25010. The test results of VR-AR based teaching materials that have been established show that the teaching materials were very feasible in terms of functional suitability, compatibility, and usability. All functions of the VR-AR application operate smoothly and work successfully on various Android operating systems with different screen resolutions. Moreover, users were satisfied with the developed VR-AR based teaching materials. They felt comfortable, fun, and excited when using the AR application.</text>

<text>Teachers' professional development plays a key role in imparting quality education. However, the design and delivery of quality professional development programs is a challenging problem due to numerous issues such as inadequate policies, lack of skilled personnel and training, politically influenced appointments, and dependency on the traditional modes of training. The COVID-19 pandemic has further escalated the situation and severely affected trainers’ and trainees' interest, motivation, and engagement. Due to its ubiquitous, flexible, and cost-effective nature, technology has played a key role in carrying out educational activities even in the pandemic situation. However, little emphasis has been provided on the use of technology for the professional development of teachers. This study investigates the effects of mobile-based training app on teachers learning outcomes and attitudes towards its usage. The training app is based on our enhanced CPD model for teachers' professional development. For the study, 308 in-service elementary school teachers of division shaheed Benazirabad are selected for the training and assessment purposes. To perform the experiments, teachers were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group contained 158 teachers which were provided training through the mobile app. The remaining 150 teachers of the control group were provided training using the traditional physical appearance. Pre and post-test were designed to examine the effects of mobile-based training on the teachers’ learning outcomes before and after the training intervention. Besides assessing the learning outcomes, the attitude towards the use of the training app was also assessed using the attitude scale. The analysis of results determined that the training through a mobile app has a significant effect on teachers learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Furthermore, teachers showed a positive attitude towards the use of training app. The experimental group had significantly high attitude scores in post-test toward mobile-based training systems. Teachers’ experience using the mobile app has been perceived as an approach that has significantly increased teaching proficiency. Experimental results suggest that mobile-based professional development modes positively impact teachers' professional and academic achievement and performance to produce a rising number of certified teachers irrespective of time, space, and financial constraints.</text>

<text>Mobile Augmented Reality has come a long way since its inception as a multimedia system during the last few decades. From the concept of an Augmented Reality experience to actual smartphone applications, it has come a long way. Researchers have chosen to leverage the concept of engagement in the construction of Mobile Augmented Reality applications in order to boost museum visitors' engagement and provide a more effective learning environment. The majority of Mobile Augmented Reality applications, on the other hand, were designed with normal hearing visitors in mind, while hearing-impaired visitors are given less attention. Those with hearing difficulties have an unfavourable experience as a result of this, and are unsatisfied with their visit. The elements of Mobile Augmented Reality aimed at engaging hearing-impaired museum visitors are determined in this study. The next step was to construct a conceptual model, which was then validated through an expert review. In investigating any flaws of the instrument among hearing-impaired museum visitors, a pilot study was conducted to improve the items and determine their level of reliability. Participants in the study were hearing-impaired who visited one of Iraq's ancient museums. This study will focus on evaluating the prototype to see how effective it is at engaging hearing-impaired museum visitors in the near future.</text>

<text>The study examines the behaviour of two characteristic traits on knowledge retention, mediated using modern smartphone usage in the corporate environment of cross-functional teams. For the investigation, a self-made model was applied that associates the personality, focusing on the traits of neuroticism and openness towards new concepts and statistically evaluates the effect of increased technological usage. A dataset of 101 individuals working in cross-functional teams was used to test the model. A total of four main hypotheses were developed and statistically tested. Exalted presence of openness towards new experiences was evaluated as a critical factor leading to decreasing knowledge retention. Furthermore, although it was deducted, that neuroticism could not be verified as a knowledge limiting factor in the applied model, smartphone usage could drastically reduce its potentially dangerous factors by using efficient and short communication channels, reaffirmation and commendation by higher-ups and colleagues alike to bolster the missing self-esteem and self-consciousness of neurotic individuals. In contrast, openness was not connected significantly to deliberate knowledge hiding, as individuals incorporating this trait presumably tend to use technological tools of all kinds inherently due to their eagerness to experiment.</text>

<text>The evolution of the current centric cloud to distributed clouds such as fog presents a suitable path to counteract the intolerable processing delays for time-critical applications. It is anticipated that more fog nodes (FN) will be connected to the IoT paradigm to improve the quality of service and meet the requirements of emerging IoT applications. Typically, the owner manages these FN nodes opening up promising doors towards new business opportunities. Thus, this paper considers fog computing driven network that consists of a set of FNs, distributed on the network edge to serve cloud clients. Cloud service provider (CSP), in turn, can offer new services, define a profile for each service, and set generate revenue. However, new schemes should be developed to make this dynamic business model economically feasible. In this context, we propose a new intelligent scheme for service trading, in which a new genetic algorithm is developed for selecting a set of optimal clients that maximize CSP’s profit using game theory for setting the service price. Game theory captures the conflict between cloud clients and CSP, where clients and CSP try to maximize their respective utilities. While CSP attempts to maximize profit, each client tries to negotiate for a lower service price. Simulation results stress that the CSP can maximize profit by utilizing computational resources efficiently and selecting service requests with the highest possible bid.</text>

<text>Organism network systems provide a biological data with high complex level. Besides, these data reflect the complex activities in organisms that identifies nonlinear behavior as well. Hence, mathematical modelling methods such as Ordinary Differential Equations model (ODE's) are becoming significant tools to predict, and expose implied knowledge and data. Unfortunately, the aforementioned approaches face some of cons such as the scarcity and the vagueness in the biological knowledge to expect the protein concentrations measurements. So, the main object of this research presents a computational model such as a neural Feed Forward Network model using Back Propagation algorithm to engage with imprecise and missing biological knowledge to provide more insight about biological systems in organisms. Therefore, the model predicts protein concentration and illustrates the nonlinear behavior for the biological dynamic behavior in precise form. Also, the desired results are matched with recent ODE's model and it provides precise results in simpler form than ODEs.</text>

<text>The pandemic situation forces us to use technology in learning. Likewise, prospective teachers who do field practice must prepare themselves to learn to use technology. So to overcome this, research was conducted to determine the validity, practicality, and responses of prospective teachers to the Computational Thinking (CT) based teaching practice model for mathematics teachers. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, questionnaire validation, practicality questionnaire and teacher candidate response questionnaire used in the study. The results showed that the design of teaching practice based on the CT approach was very feasible to use, marked by the results of validation, practicality and positive responses from prospective teachers to the practice model used, as well as an increase in creativity of teaching practice. We recommend a CT-based teaching practice model using Ed-Tech on a hybrid learning system. This research is still limited to the mathematics department and for future researchers to carry out this practice in other majors in the university environment.</text>
