<text>Cognitive workload has been defined as the cognitive processing amount needed by a user in using an application. Cognitive load theory has been gaining increasing levels of importance within usability evaluations for mobile applications and the user interface. The PACMAD model has proven that cognitive workload (CL) can be seen as being a primary usability evaluation attribute in relation to mobile applications. Once the tasks that have been assigned to users within the environment of the mobile application have been performed by the evaluator, he/she subjectively measures the CL. Typically, subjective measurements are taken at a point following completion of a task and so they are static. Since these methods are static in nature, they are inappropriate for assessment of dynamic changes to the cognitive loads through user interaction. Robust measurement of the cognitive load of a user within real-time is not a simple, trivial undertaking. Lots of research studies have tried to assess the CL of users through use of various subjective measurements, though it is often the case that those approaches are unsuitable for use with real-life applications because of the high degree of intrusiveness. Automated measurement is seen as being a field that is relatively unexplored, particularly if used in relation to CL for mobile applications. The COG tool (CL automated tool) is proposed in this paper since it supports the interaction logging of the user for derivation of CL metrics that are based upon both secondary and primary tasks. Several strengths are provided by the automated measurement of CL, and it fills the gaps of a static nature of its non-objective, automated (subjective) counterpart. Within this research, in order for the study aim to be satisfied, objective CL metrics have been used by the researcher, i.e., task time, task success rate, number of touches, number of errors, duration on help, help visit count, total effort percentage and reaction on help. A total of 68 participants were recruited for the experiment, with them using an AAU mobile application through performance of a task that was predefined without there being any interference of a moderator or researcher. The findings showed that the proposed tool could fulfill the expected cognitive load monitoring functions amongst user interaction, collection of cognitive metrics and the logging of CL metrics that could be analyzed further.</text>

This paper shows how a chatbot for mathematical tasks, named mathbot, was developed. The chatbot uses mathematical exercises from the “Schulapps” of the LearningLab of Graz, University of Technology and combines them with textual questions to provide a useful utility for practicing. It is shown that such a chatbot could be useful for pupils and teachers by evaluating a test run in an elementary school.</text>

<text>Engineering education is an important part of preparing quality graduates for the challenges of the Covid-19 and post-pandemic conditions, and electronics engineering education is no exception. Blended learning-based projects as an alternative to innovative learning at this time. This study aims to explore and explain the application of blended learning-based projects in electronics engineering education courses. The research method used is a project-based product design and development carried out by blended learning. We conduct our project activities in higher education special students from Electronic Engineering Education that take part in the learning of this project. Students who participate are only limited to small groups to avoid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 1 small group consisting of 3-5 people and there is 1 group leader who manages the work, while other members are supportive and help complete joint projects. The results of this study show the ability of students to work by implementing project-based learning in producing products, namely Exhaust Fan products based on Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) as a form of a mini prototype that can be used for small household scale industries. The ability of students to work on product manufacturing by applying the principles of project-based learning in the category already has the ability to, skilled and thoroughly working on the project that was planned until it succeeded in becoming a product prototype which was carried out in project-based blended learning.</text>

<text>A Topic Model is a class of generative probabilistic models which has gained widespread use in computer science in recent years, especially in the field of text mining and information retrieval. Since it was first proposed, it has received a large amount of attention and general interest among scientists in many research areas. It allows us to discover the mix of hidden or "latent" subjects that differs from one document to another in a given corpus. But since topic modeling usually requires the prior definition of some parameters - above all the number of topics k to be discovered -, model evaluation is decisive to identify an "optimal" set of parameters for the specific data. Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers Topic (BerTopic) are the two most popular topic modeling techniques. LDA uses a probabilistic approach whereas BerTopic uses transformers (BERT embeddings) and class-based TF-IDF to create dense clusters.</text>

<text>Social marketing would improve overall health, boost awareness, and cause be-havioral changes. Web 2.0 technologies have revolutionized the way people con-nect and communicate all around the world. This paper is the first paper to pre-sent the effect of a social marketing campaign, undertaken by the Egyptian gov-ernment, in addressing parental behavior. The nature of this work is exploratory, following a qualitative approach. This study adopted the case study research method. The authors collected data in two consecutive phases: 1) In-depth inter-views were held with social marketing experts who are in charge of this cam-paign 2) In-depth interviews were conducted with parents that marketers consider to be from their target audience because they have children who fall in the target’s age range. The study assesses the response of parents to this social marketing campaign and serves as a foundation for further research and discussion on social marketing discipline.</text>

<text>Different models had been developed to predict crop yields based on remotely sensed data. Most approaches were based on developing empirical relationships between the Satellite based Normalized difference vegetation index NDVI data and the crop yield. This article proposes to introduce methodological framework for constructing an object-oriented yield prediction model using satellite data based on the two-level regression models; with taken into consideration the trend caused by the influence of technological improvements. Regression models for the wheat and barley crop yield predictions have been developed for twenty-seven typical districts in the Voronezh region. The two-level regression model, including FSR technique firstly to select the set of features that reflect the spatial variations in crops, soil, agriculture management within districts, after carry out the steps of exploratory data analysis EDA, objects creation and zonal average of each object. Whereas the second level consist of yield prediction with multiple linear regression MLR, Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator Lasso, Support vector machines SVM techniques. The absolute error between the predicted and observed yields of 2011-2014 years was not exceed 19(16) centner/ha for wheat(barley) at worst case. In spite of that the SVM technique outperforms rest techniques by average RMSE of 5.59(4.51) for wheat(barley).</text>

However, this may preserve many problems related to the security and privacy of the system user starting from data breaches to identity theft, in this paper an overview of the metaverse world and the architecture that connects the virtual to the real world and discuss the main security and privacy risks within the Metaverse world</text>

<text>Improving the voting system has become a widely discussed issue. Paper-based elections are not safe because of the possibility of changing and adding ballots. Consequently, many countries use e-voting systems to ensure security, authenticity and time efficiency. Blockchain e-voting systems can be adopted to reduce fraud and increase voting access from home, especially in pandemics. This paper suggests a blockchain e-voting system that tackles two security and authentication issues. The security has been ensured using hybrid public-key cryptography; the voter information is encrypted using the regional election office elliptic public key, while the homomorphic public supreme election authority encrypts the vote. Using homomorphic encryption for voice enables the calculations of results as the authority encrypts it without revealing the vote itself. Authentication has been improved for home voting by a robust login system. This login system consists of two steps. In the first step, the voter enters the site using his unique QR code number scanned by webcam; in the second step, the system checks the voter's face using a face recognition system by web camera to be routed to the voting page. Voting public keys are also authenticated using a digital certificate schema. The system has been tested to show its efficiency and suitability in block establishment time and the encryption and key generator randomness using NIST tests. </text>

<text>This research aims to develop an Android-based e-textbook for a learning media course to enhance student learning outcomes. The learning media course was selected because students require an e-textbook to improve their comprehension of the criteria and creation techniques of learning media during online learning. This study utilized the research and development method with the 4D model created by Thiagarajan and Semmels. Six learning media expert validators tested the product’s feasibility, and the product’s effectiveness was tested on students through experiment research. Descriptive statistics and an eligibility criteria table were used to determine the product’s feasibility and usability. In addition, an independent sample t-test was used to determine the product’s effectiveness. According to the expert evaluation results, the product validity falls into the "very good" category (4.50 out of 5, or 90%) in aspects of language, presentation, appearance, and usefulness. The effectiveness test results indicated that the Android-based e-textbook significantly affects student learning outcomes. In addition, students’ perceptions of the usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction of the Android-based e-textbook are also in the "very good" category (4.27 out of 5, or 85%). According to a qualitative data survey, students mentioned that the most useful aspects of the product were the tutorial videos, quizzes, menus, and page markers. Nevertheless, a few students experienced difficulties with their internet connection and reading limitations.</text>
