<text>Virtual reality (VR) has emerged as a major tool in this field of research and education development. However, many challenges arise for students during the course of instruction and learning. The learning process, the placement of support assessment variables, and the behavioral intention to continue using it within the learning spectrum are crucial to the success of virtual reality in the educational sector. The goals of this study are to inquire into the degree to which VR is now being utilized in the field of education. In addition, Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data since it provided an applicable approach to use across the interviews, many methods combined into this study. The study polled 32 teachers and analyzed the results with advanced analysist tools. All of the proposed points were determined using the data analysis.

<text>Abstract— One way to identify slow learners is with an IQ (Intelligence Quotient) test. However, in rural schools, facilities for conducting IQ tests are very difficult to obtain, usually only in big cities. Whereas student identification is very necessary before students register for elementary schools, in order to determine students' abilities, so that later students can be facilitated according to their learning needs. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that aims to identify slow learners in rural schools. The participants involved were all students in four schools in one village in Indonesia. Data were obtained by conducting interviews with teachers, sorting student report cards, observing the learning process, and administering tests. The results showed that based on interviews with teachers, sorting student report cards, observing the learning process, and giving tests, there were 17 students identified as slow learners. Among them are 6 female students and 11 male students. In addition to the IQ test, the identification of slow learners can be done by interviewing teachers, viewing student report cards, observing the learning process in class, and giving tests to students. Thus each teacher can identify each student easily, this will be very helpful for teachers in rural schools.

<text>This research aimed to design and develop a digital platform-mediated tourism system for self-service information in small-town destinations. It focused on a case study performed in Koh Raet, Surat Thani province, Thailand. The system consists of the Tourism Information Service (TIS) system and a digital game for discovering Koh Raet. The TIS System is designed for self-visiting activities in Koh Raet.  Furthermore, the digital game for exploring and discovering Koh Raet was also integrated with a QR code, with the objective of improving tourist experiences. A qualitative approach was conducted, followed by managing the system development, and finally, the system evaluation related to the efficiency of the proposed system was performed. To evaluate the system, we gathered qualitative data from an online questionnaire. Based on the results, we conclude that the participants were highly satisfied with the system's performance. The research contributes to empowering small-town tourism by combining tourism information services and gamification into a digital-platform-mediated tourism system. Another contribution is to provide a self-service experience for travelers in small-town destinations, offering reliable and up-to-date information about the destination. Furthermore, it is intended to foster small-town tourism promotion, and boost tourism activities in small-town destinations in sustainable ways</text>

<text>In the digital age, people are increasingly connected and frequently use technology in their daily lives. Elementary school students are no exception. They show a great interest in the digital world and especially in games. Scratch gives these students the opportunity to create their own games instead of being passive consumers of these programs. Also, it is a software that allows the development of computational thinking. Thus, to learn programming using Scratch allows students to be actors in their learning which increases their capacity to solve problems. The objective of this work is to propose a pedagogical scenario to teach Scratch to primary school students based on active pedagogical approaches that put the learner at the centre of the teaching-learning process. Once challenged by a problem, students propose solutions. Scratch gives the opportunity to verify the accuracy of the proposed solutions. Accordingly, students try to detect the source of the error and rectify the instructions of their programs. The class, grouped in trios, evaluates the proposed solutions by adopting the "trial and error" method until the desired result is obtained. Therefore, the scenario proposed in this work combines active pedagogical approaches while taking into consideration the nature of the subject taught. Indeed, it aims to make the students fully involved in their learning with the "trial and error" method and to develop their capacities of investigation and problem-solving in a motivating and collaborative environment.</text>

Achieving multi levels of security system often researchers used cryptography side by side with steganography. Utilizing message digest algorithm to play the role of crypto which is extracted from secret created database. Message digest algorithm (MD5) used two times as one-way function to provide data integrity. The implemented system evaluated based on peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) metric and the best value reaches 62.46. the proposed system works in adaptive behavior due to the different use of images as well as the selected point could be used to generate the hash code as well. The implemented system reaches up to sufficient level of security through using both steganography and cryptography.</text>

<text>Mathematics has a lot of negative stigma in society caused by the delivery of less interactive learning materials that makes many people not interested in studying mathematics. Educational games can be an option to create an interactive learning media. This study aimed to develop a mobile visual novel game for mathematics subjects, especially definite integral in order to increase interest in learning mathematics. Visual novel is used as a media to emphasise interactivity by delivering a story inside a game. This research investigates the level of immersion and behavioural intention to use using Hedonic-Motivation System Adoption Model (HMSAM). Evaluation was conducted using questionnaires with 46 students as respondents. The results showed that the application was able to increase students’ interest in learning mathematics. This is indicated by the level of behavioural intention to use of 84.28% which states that students strongly agree that the game is able to increase the reusability of the application. In addition, the game obtained 82.09% for the immersion aspect, showing that students alsostrongly agree that the game is able to make the players get carried away.</text>

<text>Blended learning, also known as mixed-mode instruction, combines in-person and online instruction. Blended learning is widely used in school and university subjects. This research aims to determine how blended learning has been applied to algorithms and programming courses over the last 20 years. This study analyzes the quality and quantity of scientific publications using bibliometric techniques and then provides an overview of how blended learning is used and its impact. For this analysis and review, this study conducted a bibliometric analysis of articles published in the last 20 years (2000–2021) and then presented the 10 most cited articles. We established the following criteria for articles: 1) sourced from the Scopus database, 2) concerned about blended learning in algorithms and programming, and 3) publication is limited to articles published in indexed international journals and proceedings. The VOSviewer and MS-Excel applications help with data presentation in this method. We collected 240 articles that met these criteria from the Scopus database, which contained 297 articles published between 2000 and 2021. The most-cited article received 52 citations, while the least received only 3. The top 10 most cited articles are from the following countries: 1) Norway, 2) Serbia, and 3) Saudi Arabia. We divided the articles into categories based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The findings of this study can be used as a reference for state-of-the-art and novelty, as well as for the dissemination of scientific references related to the use of blended learning for introductory algorithms and programming.</text>

<text>Education field has seen numerous revolutions and innovations that have altered the teaching and learning process through the emergence of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) which provides numerous benefits to both educators and students. However, there is concern that students focus in the classroom becomes less due to the lack of pleasurable during the teaching and learning sessions. Thus, the existence of learning using Augmented Reality (AR) applications seems to help students improve their thinking skills in terms of cognitive as well as behaviourism. Therefore, this study proposed the Design and Development of Augmented Reality (AR) Application for Internet Evolution Learning Topics known as AREvo. The methodology used in this study was based on a design and development research (DDR) and ADDIE Model were used for designed and developed AREvo. Several platforms and software were used to develop AREvo. Several experts in Creative Multimedia field from higher education were appointed to evaluate the AREvo in terms of its functionality, content design, interaction design and presentation. The data analyze and obtained is in the form of frequency and feedback. Result revealed that AREvo application can be used as an additional material for instructors as well as students who are taking basic ICT course. In addition, AREvo is expected to provide a positive impact in terms of functionality and usability of this AR application in the present and also in the future.</text>

<text>Educators have problems conducting online learning, such as monitoring student attendance while presenting the material. This paper aims to predict student names who attend zoom video conferences with various lighting conditions and face angles by comparing two detection and two recognition methods. This paper proposes an intelligent system based on the use of a bot that will analyse a combination of face detection and recognition method for attendance systems using video conferencing applications to carry out online learning. The proposed system will use the best combination of two methods to recapitulate student attendance. The face detection system uses Haar Cascade and MTCNN, and the face recognition system uses ResNet and FaceNet. The tests were conducted on video zoom footage taken during online lectures. The results show that MTCNN and FaceNet get the highest accuracy, 93.23%.</text>
