<text>The post-pandemic period brought with it new challenges for both businesses and private health centers, many of which were affected by the loss of customers. In the case of dental centers, many were affected by the distrust of customers, since activities performed in the oral cavity exposed them to the contagion of Covid-19. This research work proposes the implementation of a mobile application with Augmented Reality (AR) as a strategy for digital marketing immersion, with the aim of achieving a dynamic approach to the services provided in the dental center to customers, this is through the use of this technology in conjunction with social networks, contributing to the improvement of the business and building trust with customers. The application was developed under the Mobile-D methodology with a layered system development architecture, having as indicators the time of elaboration of the advertisement, the cost of information material, the time to inform the services, and the level of customer satisfaction. Finally, the results revealed that the time of elaboration of the advertisement decreased from 25 hours to 14 hours, the cost of informative material was considered "low" since the implementation of the application turns out to be economic, and the time to inform the services in its marketing process went from 30 min to 19 min with the use of the application, finally, the customer satisfaction increased being considered in 87% between "Good" and "Excellent".</text>

<text>The main goal of this study is to examine the communication that fashion brands make through Facebook. It is intended to ascertain if the fashion brands use a communication strategy based on dialogue with their followers. In order to reach the objectives indicated above, a content analysis has been carried out (quantitative methodology) of 326 publications made through Facebook by H&M, Zara and Ralph Lauren between January 1st and June 30th of 2017. The main results of this work show that, although Facebook has a wide dialogical potential, fashion brands do not use it to a great extent. Although we consider appropriate to have analyzed only the social network Facebook given its importance, this situation could be considered as the main limitation of the present study, since the fashion brands could, or not, be taking advantage of the dialogical potential of other social networks, such as Twitter or Instagram. It could be considered that this research stands out for studying a series of variables that allows organizations to know if they are using the dialogical potential offered by digital communication.</text>

It was applied in speaking activities to measure and evaluate the level of speaking of students from levels 1 to 3, as a pilot test for the use of immersive virtual reality within the thematic units currently designed from the department of foreign languages and cultures. The findings of the study showed that an immersive VR platform like this one is ideal to enhance the different skills of English as a foreign language (EFL) from an immersive focus considering different contexts and thinking of the development of communicative skills and interaction with native speakers in higher education. The recommendations given are for teachers and students’ participation and motivation for its implementation contemplating the cost and the multiple advantages of immersing students in a second language virtual environment.</text>

<text>The extremely fast topology has created new requirements for the geographic routing protocol, which has been the most efficient solution for Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). The frequent disconnection of links makes the choice of the next routing node extremely difficult. Hence, an efficient routing algorithm needs to deliver the appropriate path to transfer the data packets with the most relevant quality of service (QoS). In this work, the weight-aware greedy perimeter stateless (WA-GPSR) routing protocol is presented. The enhanced GPSR protocol computes the reliable communication area and selects the next forwarding vehicle based on several routing criteria. The proposal has been evaluated and compared to Maxduration-Minangle GPSR (MM-GPSR) and traditional GPSR using strict metric analysis. Our experimental results using NS-2 and VanetMobiSim, have demonstrated that WA-GPSR has the ability to enhance network performance.</text>

<text>Context-awareness is becoming a key aspect of mobile learning systems. In fact, an efficient mobile learning system has to be sensitive to the context that characterizes the interactions between humans, applications and the surrounding environment. Researches in context-aware mobile learning have concentrated on how to adapt application to context. In this paper, we present an innovative approach for modeling bijective adaptations between learning activities and context because they influence each others in learning processes. First, we identify contextual elements and their features relevant for mobile and collaborative learning. Then, we propose a multi-layer middleware that supports tasks for managing and adapting context. The originality of this middleware comes especially from its top-most layer which is an adaptor that defines two classes of functionalities: the adaptation of learning activities to context and the adaptation and updating of context to learning activities. Finally, we present a simulator that implements this adaptor and our bijective adaptation approach. This simulator based on context-aware and mobile learning scenario, makes possible the interactions of mobile learning applications with context (environment) in such a way that they can detect the contextual elements values changes in order to, on the one side, adapt their learning activities to provide services more appropriate to new values of the environment. On the other side, adapt and update contextual elements to the needs of their learning activities and preferences of the mobile user to create more adequate learning environment which helps him/her concentrate better on his/her learning activities.</text>

<text>Learning style is a significant learner-difference factor. Each learner has a preferred learning style and a different way of processing and understanding the novelty. In this paper, a new approach that automatically identify learners learning styles based on their interaction with the Learning Management System (LMS) is introduced. To implement this approach, the traces of 920 enrolled learners in three agronomy courses were exploited using an unsupervised clustering method to group learners according to their degree of engagement. The decision tree classification algorithm relies on the decision rules construction, which is widely adopted to identify the accurate learning style. As missing good decision rules would lead to learning style misclassification, the Felder-Silverman Learning Style Model (FSLSM) is used as it is among the most adopted models in the technology of quality improvement process. The results of this research highlight that most learners prefer the global learning style.</text>

Several studies have proposed predictive models for credit card fraud detection based on different machine learning techniques. In this paper, we present an adaptive approach to credit card fraud detection that exploits the performance of the techniques that have given high level of accuracy and consider the type of transaction and the client's profile. Our proposition is a multi-level framework, which encompasses the banking security aspect, the customer profile and the profile of the transaction itself.</text>

<text>In recent years, a significant increase in road accidents worldwide has been observed. This can partly be due to either driver distraction or fatigue. Therefore, a reliable alerting system that can detect the driver's inattention including fatigue, sleep, and distraction is necessarily required to prevent any potential accidents. The aim of this paper is to conduct a systematic review of literature (SLR) on monitoring driver inattention. In particular, the present study deals with different aspects of prior studies such as the sensors used; the types of data, the feature engineering techniques, the machine-learning techniques applied and their performance along with, the dataset used, etc. anotherFour approaches can be depicted from literature according to indicators they are based on: physiological, physical, driver performance and hybrid approach. We will focus on these different approaches in order to answer different questions, starting with the type of indicators used in the case of distraction or fatigue detection, the different datasets employed, the feature extraction techniques and the machine learning models applied. Furthermore, the study examines the practicality and reliability of each of the four approaches, as well as possible future prospects in the area, and highlights new challenges in the field of driver inattention detection with both forms of fatigue and distraction.</text>

<text>This study examines the relationship between student planning, smartphone use, and course achievement. The ubiquitous smartphone can promote or hinder learning depending upon how it is used. Prior research has explored overall smartphone use (e.g., hours used) and generally found negative relationships with academic achievement. This study investigates the learner’s approach to a specific academic endeavor, planning, and how the choice of support tools may relate to self-regulated learning skills and course grade. First-year college students reported on their approach to academic planning and how popular tools such as the smartphone and/or a planner were used to that end. The results indicated a strong relationship between both modes of planning and self-regulated learning skills (planner, R = .305, p < .01; smartphone, R = .157, p <.01). The modes of planning had a differing effect on course grades when controlling for self-regulated learning skills with the smartphone planning demonstrating a negative influence (ß = -.078, p < .05) and the planner or notebook demonstrating a positive influence (ß = .082, p < .05). The findings suggest that teachers and students should critically examine the tools they use to support academic goals.</text>
