<text>Since the Covid 19 Pandemic by the end of 2020, the learning process has shifted from school to online home-based- learning. Several technologies are applied for enabling students’ participation. Technology-based learning needs to be designed to be attractive and integrated with local culture. The present study developed a valid, practical, and effective Sasak ethnomathematics based- e-Module. The e-Module was mainly designed to improve students' metacognitive abilities. The study used development research using a 4D development model consisting of four categories: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research was conducted in one of the elementary schools in West Lombok. Ten students of grade five and 30 students of grade six were selected for large-scale trials. The validity test showed that the ethnomathematics-based- e-Module was highly feasible to be used as a learning resource with an average score of 3.65. The analysis of students’ responses from the questionnaire showed that the E-Modul fell into the practical category with a practicality percentage of 89%. The results of data analysis using independent sample T-Test showed that the T-test value was 0.00 < 0.05, thus the results of the study revealed a significant difference. Overall, the ethnomathematics-based- e-Module was valid, practical, and effective for improving students' metacognitive abilities on spatial material. The students can access the e-Module via smartphones or laptops, allowing them to remotely without time restrictions</text>

<text>The utilization of the existing breakwater constructions into wave energy conversion has been often adopted to rendering a revenue of the capital cost of investment. The paper has contributed to viable concept of a new integration design through more effectively capturing wave-overtopping which finally converts into electrical energy. This design is hereafter called Overtopping Breakwater for Energy Conversion (OBREC). The development of an experimental test of the current OBREC has been conducted to obtain a proper ramp shape through evaluating the amounts of the wave-overtopping discharges into the reservoir incorporated with wave-reflection coefficients. To achieve the objective, several geometry ramps such as linear, convex, concave and cubic shapes have been experimentally investigated at the National Research Institute Malaysia (NAHRIM) laboratory. The experimental study showed that the cubic-ramp shape has resulted in more significant amount of the wave-overtopping discharge into the reservoir associated with the low wave-reflection coefficient than the other ramp shapes. In general, it is merely concluded that this investigation provides very promising concept of the new proposed OBREC design to harness the larger wave energy.</text>

<text>Blended learning is not just merely blending face-to-face and online learning. The biggest challenge is making the right mix of relevant learning settings and teaching strategies to meet the learning outcomes. The latest study showed that research focusing on the instructional system design (ISD) model developments, especially related to blended learning approach, were still limited. This study aims to develop an ISD model that can provide a guideline for lecturers in creating a good course using a blended learning approach. This study applied a formative research method. A series of formative evaluation using several formative data collection techniques were used. They were expert review, one-to-one evaluations, and field tests. This study involved 242 respondents, consists of 7 instructional design and e-learning experts, and 235 lecturers. After conducted a series of formative evaluation stages, respondents able to create a good quality course using the ISD model developed. Most of them get fair and low scores on the field test 1. The score increased significantly on the field test 2, where 33.6% get excellent scores, 48.2% get good scores, and 28.2% get fair scores. The score also increased significantly on field test 3 60.5% get excellent scores, 33.6% get good scores, and only 5.9% get poor scores. Hence, it can be concluded that the ISD model developed is feasible and usable. It can be used by higher education lecturers in Indonesia as a guideline in creating a course using blended learning approach.</text>

<text>Abstract— This document presents the design and development of an integrated library management system based on the needs assessment conducted in response to technology, infrastructure, existing condition, facilities, technology readiness of human resources, automation sufficiency level, and support of technical staff among ninety-eight (98) respondents using the descriptive developmental method.
Developing a system based on research is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the system. This approach addresses specific problems or challenges by incorporating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in the field.
The findings include the need to mentor the respondents on how to use technology and the influence of others as a factor in using technology. There is a difficulty encountered in navigating schools’ virtual libraries, unavailability of materials, and visiting it is not enticing anymore since information is available from the internet. The rarity of introducing new technology and the absence of 3D printers are common pain points. However, improvements on the library website, email/chat with a librarian, online research guides, online book reservations, and book delivery service were noticed. Research gaps and recommendations from the selected Library Management System were also employed as additional input in the development of the system. A deeper understanding of the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Robotics, and Embedded Systems through training, webinars, and workshops are necessary for the librarian. These technologies could be applied in library operations and transactions. Procurement of the latest equipment which includes 3D printers and the development of integrated library systems are steps to take to improve the library's services and operation. By combining the results of assessments and incorporating new knowledge derived from research gaps and recommendations, provided a stronger foundation for the system. It also provides validation and grounding in scientific principles, ensuring that the system is well-informed and effective in its implementation. Ultimately, developing a system based on research leads to more informed and effective solutions to pain points and challenges.</text>

<text>Currently, we are witnessing the active introduction of modern digital technologies in the field of education. One of the main reasons for this was the transition to distance learning due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. More and more virtual labs, virtual textbooks, as well as educational platforms that allow students to acquire the necessary skills and abilities remotely using the Internet, are being used in the educational process.
The most promising educational platform is an interactive mobile learning platform. It has several advantages, among which one can especially single out the convenience of learning due to its interactivity and organization of the studied material. The application of augmented and virtual reality allows for increasing the effectiveness of classes. These technologies provide another level of interaction and material perception by students. However, VR and its high level of immersion require special equipment and more actions from the user while AR is cheaper and more affordable, but still interactive and has great visual aids. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate how augmented reality can be used for radio engineering disciplines on the example of an interactive mobile platform.
This article discusses the process of developing a mobile platform that allows studying the material of radio engineering courses using augmented reality technology. The work also contains the results of a survey conducted among the students who used it as a part of their class activities. In addition, sections of the article contain a description of the project development process, its structure, international experience, and the conclusions.</text>

<text> The objectives of this study are (1) to explore pre-service teachers’ needs in using educational technology tools for online learning, (2) to develop an online lesson about the use of educational technology tools for pre-service teachers, and (3) to compare the learning achievements before and after taking the lesson. The methodology was divided into three phases. The first phase was a needs assessment concerning the use of educational technology tools in online learning. The samples were 272 undergraduate pre-service teachers at the University of Phayao. The research instrument was a needs analysis questionnaire on the use of educational technology tools in online learning. The collected data was analyzed using Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified). In the second phase, an online lesson about the use of educational tools was developed. The research samples were three experts in three different fields, including instructional design, educational technology, and assessment and evaluation. The research instrument used in this phase was a suitability assessment form for the designed online lesson. Document analysis and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. In the third phase, the learning achievements before and after completing the lesson were compared. The samples were 112 pre-service teachers at the University of Phayao. The research instrument was a learning achievement test. The data analysis included means, standard deviations, and a t-test.
The results were as follows:

Regarding the needs analysis concerning the use of educational technology tools in online learning, the pre-service teachers considered that tools for completing learning tasks were the most crucial element. The data collected from open-ended questions revealed that the most critical problems experienced in online learning were learning tools and poor Internet speed.
The results from the suitability test showed that the developed online lesson was overall suitable (M = 2.98, SD = .174).The pre-service teachers’ average post-test score on the achievement test on the use of educational technology tools was higher than the average pre-test score with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level.</text>

<text>Early Childhood Education has an important role in the development of a child. When talking about Early Childhood Education quality is the most critical, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic as it is today and coincides with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 where the education system underwent drastic changes. This study aims to (1) produce an Early Childhood Education application based on android; (2) test the effectiveness of the Early Childhood Education application. The development of the Android-based PAUDPEDIA application will be carried out using the 4D Model Research and Development method proposed by Thiagarajan and Semmel. This research and development are divided into four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this study indicate that researchers can achieve the expected output targets, namely (1) the results of the expert trial of the Android-based PAUDPEDIA Application showed a percentage of 86.7%. This means that the Android-based PAUDPEDIA Application is very feasible to be distributed to users and ready to use; while the results of user trials on the Android-based PAUDPEDIA application showed a percentage of 86.2%. This means that the Android-based PAUDPEDIA Application is effective for use by users; and (2) the Android-based PAUDPEDIA application is effective to be used to facilitate distance education activities in Early Childhood Education. It can be concluded that the Android-based PAUDPEDIA application is very suitable for use by users and is effectively used for distance education activities in PAUD, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic.</text>

<text>In general, students' math skills in Indonesia are low. An effort must be made to get students to enjoy learning mathematics so that their mathematical abilities improve. The rapid development of smartphone technology provides an opportunity for use in mathematics learning. This study aims to develop an Android-based mathematics learning game for junior high school students on the topic of congruence and similarity. The research method used in this study is the Plomp development method with three stages: preliminary research, the prototyping stage, and the assessment phase. The subjects of this study were 56 seventh-grade students from the State Junior High School (SMPN 1) Wagir Malang. Six students participated in small group trials and 50 students participated in field trials. The results showed that the Android-based learning game on the topic of congruence and similarity had been successfully developed. The game media have been validated by experts with a score of 3.36, which shows that the media created are valid. The practicality tests in the small group trial resulted in a score of 3.50, while the field trial resulted in a score of 3.51. The effectiveness tests carried out in the small group trial resulted in a score of 3.36, while the field trial results had a score of 3.38. These results indicate that the learning games developed are practical and effective for use in mathematics learning.</text>
