After a short presentation of MOCOCO (Mobility, Cooperation, Contextualization) and IMERA (Mobile Interaction in the Augmented Real Environment) principles we will discuss their use in a project called HMTD (Help Me To Do) whose aim is to use wearable computer for a framework of activities of better use, maintenance and repairing of professional appliances. We will successively describe m-learning scope, contextualization and cooperation advantages as well as learning methods. A case study of configuration of wearable computer and its peripherals, taking into account context, in-situ storage, traceability and regulation in these activities finishes this paper.</text>

<text>An analysis is performed to study the thermal radiation and chemical reaction effects on coupled heat and mass transfer by MHD natural convective boundary-layer flow of a micropolar fluid over a permeable truncated cone with variable surface temperature and concentration. A suitable set of dimensionless variables is used to transform the governing equations of the problem into a non-similar form. The resulting non-similar equations have the property that they reduce to various special cases previously considered in the literature. An adequate and efficient implicit, tri-diagonal finite difference scheme is employed for the numerical solution of the obtained equations. Various comparisons with previously published work are performed and the results are found to be in excellent agreement. A representative set of numerical results for the velocity, microrotation, temperature and concentration profiles as well as the local skin-friction coefficient, local wall couple stress, local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood number is presented graphically for various parametric conditions and discussed.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3329/jname.v10i2.15898</text>

The influence of important non-dimensional parameter, Suction parameter ( ), Soret parameter (Sr), Dufour parameter (Du) and thermophoretic parameter (?) on velocity, angular velocity (micro-rotation), temperature and concentration fields as well as shear stress, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are examined in detail and the results are shown in graphically and in tabular form to know the physical importance of the problem. It is found that the imposition of wall fluid suction (V0>0) in this present problem of flow has the effect of depreciating the velocity, micro-rotation, temperature and concentration boundary layer thicknesses at every finite value of ?. </text>

<text> This paper mainly deals with connectivity of Nepal with neighboring countries and beyond. Nepal entered into an agreement with India for a Raxaul – Kathmandu railway line survey last year. After rail connectivity is established with India, Nepal is expected to benefit through transport costs compared to existing road connectivity. Nepal also signed an MoU with India for the development of inland water ways during the last visit by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to India. This is expected to provide Nepal with greater opportunities of better connection with Indian ports to promote trade with her southern neighbor and beyond. Moreover, Nepal and Chinese governments have agreed to work together to construct a rail link between Kerung and Kathmandu. This should allow Indian and Chinese railways to link in Kathmandu although that may yet take some time. Similarly, if Nepal deals tactfully with India and Bangladesh to make the Kathmandu-Kakarvitta-Phulbari-Banglabandha corridor function smoothly, there is a high possibility of establishing China-Nepal-India-Bangladesh (CNIB) Economic Corridor in the future. This paper attempts to explain the critical geo-political issues and challenges in connectivity facing Nepal. This paper is based on secondary data and both the qualitative and quantitative methods have been adopted for analysis. The key point of arguments presented by the paper is that all South Asian countries need to come up with “Connectivity Diplomacy”, preferably on the Track 1.5 level.</text>

<text>The Industrial Policy Resolution of 1956, under Schedule A, reserved 17 industries including arms and ammunition for the public sector. Accordingly, the defence sector remained solely the domain of defence Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) till 2001. However, the country had to resort to the import of ammunition for the Bofors artillery guns during the Kargil War from South Africa, amongst others, even though the country already had a large industrial base consisting of nine defence PSUs, 39 Ordnance Factories (OFs) and 52 laboratories of DRDO. The armed forces stared at the perils of dependence on imports during the war. On a positive note, post the Kargil War, the government decided to open the doors to the defence sector to the private industry. Thus, in May 2001, the government permitted 100 per cent participation by the Indian private sector, subject to licensing, with the aim to galvanise the country's defence industrial base for achieving self-reliance and indigenisation.</text>

<text>Since 2004, governments in a number of countries have initiated tense political debates over the question of whether religious symbols should be permitted in public places. Frequently, such debates have focussed on the head and face coverings worn by many observant Muslim women, as has been explored by a rich scholarly literature. However, relatively little has been written about the specific reasons why these laws have been adopted, and few cross-national comparisons have been made. This paper will examine the following cases: first, the law against wearing face coverings in France, adopted during Nicolas Sarkozy’s presidency in 2010; and second, the extensive debates about access to government services for people wearing religious clothing in Québèc (Canada). Finally, the paper will examine the distinct case of Russia, where high court decisions have revealed a reversal in the authorities’ former tolerance of the wearing of head coverings in public places. Three variables help to explain why these laws came upon the political agenda in these admittedly very different countries. First, all three adopted previous measures to limit citizens’ ability to don face coverings during political protests; second, these countries’ choices influenced each other, showing the importance that global influences can play in policy formation; and finally, political leaders attempted to use laws on face and head coverings as a strategy to reinforce their power.

<text>Virtual reality is a combination of technology that are used to visualize and provide interaction with virtual environment. These environment often depict three-dimensional space which could be realistic or imaginary. One of the problem to build a virtual reality application is not yet available an approach as development lifecycle to build this virtual reality application. In this study we implement a software development project management approach which is Scrum to build a virtual reality application to be a new media for learning English. The goal is to find out how this system development approach is providing a new guide as a project management to build virtual reality application right from the project started, until the application is reach production stage or final release. Also in this study we using the unity 3D to create the virtual environment and C# as the backend programming language to build a mobile application which is made this virtual application is build using cross platform mobile development. The study concludes that mobile learning applications increase student motivation and place students as the main subject in English Lessons to support the teaching and learning process in an educational context.</text>

In the current study, typical long crested extreme waves namely: i) New Year wave at offshore Norway; and ii) Freak wave at North Sea are simulated using the combined wave model. Dynamic response of the Tension Leg Platforms (TLP) under these extreme waves is carried out for different wave approach angles. Based on the analytical studies cared out, it is seen that the TLPs are sensitive to the wave directionality when encountered by such extreme waves; ringing type response is developed in TLPs which could result in tether pull out.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3329/jname.v10i1.14518</text>

<text>Tension Leg Platform (TLP) is a taut-moored compliant offshore platform that deploys tethers under high initial pretension to counteract the excess buoyancy. TLPs show large amplitude responses under the encountered lateral forces, which challenges the serviceability of the platform in critical sea states. One of the passive control device i.e. Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) is attempted in the present study to control large amplitude motion of TLPs. In the present study, response control of TLP using single and multiple TMDs is compared. Optimized parameters of multiple tuned mass dampers (MTMD) are obtained using H2 optimization algorithm for the maximum control of the motion of the platform. Based on the studies conducted, it is seen that MTMD systems show better response control in comparison to the single TMD. Higher robustness of the MTMD system is also examined to highlight the use of MTMD over a wide range of excitation frequencies in extreme sea states.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3329/jname.v10i2.16184</text>
