One of these skills is computational thinking (CT), which is the ability to systematically think and solve problems in daily life. This research aims to ascertain the benefits of using a mobile cloud-based learning system with a peer-to-peer reverse engineering approach in enhancing CT skill. In this study, a cloud-based learning system and learning management plans were employed as research instruments, and a CT test was used as a data gathering instrument. The data were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation, repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), and t-test. The findings suggested that the students’ scores were higher after using the cloud-based learning system, at a 0.05 level of significance. After performing the repeated-measures ANOVA, the students’ scores were significantly higher at a 0.05 level in each round of the CT test. At the same time, peer learning increased the positive attitude of the learners toward the system and promoted the effectiveness of working in a team. This study provides a better understanding of the current research trends in the field of CT education, the perception of students, and the learning strategies and technology involved in CT education. In this research work, jute fiber reinforced polypropylene matrix composites have been developed by hot compression molding technique with varying process parameters, such as fiber condition (untreated and alkali treated), fiber sizes (1, 2 and 4 mm) and percentages (5%, 10% and 15% by weight). The developed jute fiber reinforced composites were then characterized by tensile test, optical and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that tensile strength increases with increase in the fiber size and fiber percentage; however, after a certain size and percentage, the tensile strength decreases again. Compared to untreated fiber, no significant change in tensile strength has been observed for treated jute fiber reinforcement. Fractographic observation suggests the fracture behavior to be brittle in nature. The plate temperature and the concentration level near the plate increase linearly with time. The fluid model under consideration has been solved by Laplace transform technique. The model contains equations of motion, diffusion equation and equation of energy. To analyze the solution of the model, reasonable sets of the values of the parameters have been considered. The numerical data obtained is discussed with the help of graphs and tables. The numerical values obtained for skin-friction, Sherwood number and Nusselt number have been tabulated. It is found that the velocity of fluid increases when the values of permeability parameter, acceleration parameter and radiation parameter are increased. But trend is reversed with the chemical reaction parameter. It means that the velocity decreases when the chemical reaction parameter is increased. To understand the impact of smartphone technology and communications applications on Quality of Life, a quasi-experimental study was conducted with elderly people living in Shiraz-Iran. The study population included all the registered senior in public health centers in Shiraz, Fars, Iran during 2018 and 2019. Overall, 119 elderly people participated in the study. The study randomly categorized participants into intervention (59 participants with mean age 66.19±2.73) and control (60 participants with mean age 66.67±3.00) groups. They were asked to answer the validated Persian version of the Control, Autonomy, Self-realisation, Pleasure scale (CASP-19) scale questionnaire for Quality of Life assessment. A significant mean difference was observed by the paired t-test between pre-and post-test (t= -8.61, p<0.00), post-and follow-up-test (t= -2.24, p=0.02), and pre-test and follow-up test (t= -8.42, p<0.00) in the intervention group. The results of paired t-test for the control group showed no significant mean difference between pre-test and post-test (t= 1.35, p=0.18), post-test and follow-up test (t= 0.38, p=0.70) and pre-test and follow-up test (t= 1.94, p=0.06) for Quality of Life. We selected 24 articles that meet the inclusion criteria: empirical studies implementing mobile learning in a blended environment using social constructivism approach. The selected studies are not identical in terms of instructional strategies, tools and devices, period and student’s expertise level. These factors lead to variations in the magnitude of the effect sizes. The review reveals that there is a positive effect of mobile learning on the knowledge acquisition, learners’ achievements, attitudes and motivation despite the high cognitive load. This is shown through the combined effect size. A last remarkable finding related to retention is that students in such environments fulfill their academic tests, but remember less the acquired knowledge after a retention period.
