<text>Many learners and educators have challenges accepting online education due to the non-traditional educational style. Additionally, many learners are not familiar with utilizing online learning platforms for educational purposes due to their lack of readiness. Therefore, this research comprehensively examines online learning readiness by conducting a bibliometric analysis. This study expanded all research from 2010 to 2020 by utilizing the similarities visualization software (Vosviewer). A sum of 1371 publications were analyzed as documented in the Scopus database in July 2021, identifying the most compelling subjects covered by the journal. Findings demonstrate several significant research concerns (E-learning readiness, ICT education, Technology Acceptance Model TAM). Several emerging topics have been identified (Digital learning, online learning environments, self-directed learning). The research presents a roadmap for potential researchers, concentrating on critical areas where success is possible.</text>

<text>This research paper emphasizes the relationship between certain variables that influence the consumer's intention to use Self-Service Technologies (SST) in the retail sector. With the rapid growth of technology, various technological.
innovations are being introduced to make it easier for people to satisfy their needs and wants. One of the technologies that are very popular among customers is self-service checkout. However, previous studies on investigating the SST mainly focus on the technology adoption perspective and only a few studies have attempted to report from the consumer behavior perspective. As such, this paper aims to investigate the relationship between the customer’s traits (technology anxiety, need for interaction, technology innovativeness, and demographics) towards the consumer intention to use SST. Two hundred answers were collected randomly among the Tesco customer in Malaysia. The data were then analyzed using SmartPls version 3 to validate the developed hypothesis which forms the foundation for the research model. The finding revealed that only technology anxiety, technology innovativeness, and demographics affect the consumer intention to use SST. The findings are important to the retailer to continue improving the current system in addressing 1. potential user(demographic), system complexity and safety (technology anxiety), and system features-interactive system (technology innovativeness) to give a different experience to the user as compared to traditional practice.</text>

<text>The success of information systems research has begun to decline in the past few years, but existing research is still inaccurate in its definition and in the factors that affect the success of the information system. The purpose of this research is to find out, study, and analyze the effectiveness of implementing academic information systems in universities to improve the quality of information. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and case studies, namely problem formulation, study proposition, analysis unit, data linkage to the proposition, the criteria for interpreting the findings, and making conclusions and recommendations. From the results of the research data analysis, several conclusions were obtained, namely, the academic information system running in universities has not met expectations. The performance of academic information systems that can support the smooth operation of the universities is not well understood. It is necessary to formulate an optimal academic information system strengthening strategy that can support the smooth operation of the universities.</text>

<text>Enormous digital tools can assist teachers or students in the teaching and learning process in face-to-face meetings and virtual environments. During Pandemic Covid-19, government policy forced educators to decide and design online learning for all education levels from kindergarten, elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and university. Nevertheless, many free digital tools intended free access for educators that could be utilized as synchronous or asynchronous learning. This article explores utilizing five digital tools for online learning such as Padlet, Kahoot, YouTube, Essaybot, and Grammarly due to teaching Essay Writing course. It is descriptively explained how the researchers used a learning collaboration tool, a content creation tool, a content sharing tool to engage students’ interaction in the Essay Writing course. This article was considered sharing information and recommendation for other teachers to implement free digital tools to increase their learning process and achieve learning outcomes. The teachers and instructional designers may explore these digital tools, adopt relevant tools to their discipline, and do further research.</text>

<text>The adoption of virtual learning environment (VLE) has started to gain serious attention worldwide including Malaysia, where its usage during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak has become a necessity. Nevertheless, the extent to which teachers have adopted the VLE and which factors are most influencing the continuance intention to adopt VLE post pandemic remain ambiguous. The objective of this conceptual study is to provide a conceptual framework in investigating the factors that most influence the continuance intention to adopt VLE among teacher in Malaysian school. This study overviews several important variables that may influence the continuance intention to adopt VLE from three contexts (technology, organization and environment) which include relative advantage, compatibility. observability, technological infrastructure, school support, technical support and government support. Finally, this study can improve the understanding about which factors that may encourage or hinder the continuance intention to adopt VLE in Malaysian school to enhance education quality for societal change.</text>

<text>Vocational education graduates should have expertise competencies according to their fields so that it is easy to fill the job market, but this condition is not in line with expectations. BPS data as of February 2020 still shows the open unemployment rate, which is dominated by SMK graduates, at 8.49%, meaning that it is the highest-ranking contributor to open unemployment. One indication of this high percentage is the lack of work skills for vocational school graduates in the world of work. This lack of work competence is indicated because the learning process is not integrated with the real world of work. Therefore, improvement steps are sought through a learning process that integrates school learning with the real world of work by developing media that support learning activities with the real world of work. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design an Android-based interactive lean manufacturing application to improve the work skills of vocational students. This study uses the 4D development method (four-Ds) for the development of android-based interactive lean manufacturing applications and uses a survey method for validity and this AR application will be validated by 3 experts. The results of this study indicate that the validation test of android-based interactive lean manufacturing applications is included in the valid category. So, it can be concluded that the Android-based interactive lean manufacturing application technology has been valid to be used in the learning process.</text>

<text>Sharing economy services are growing very quickly, including with successful implementations such as mobile ridehailing services, where by consumers and drivers can coordinate to share rides. This research investigates factors that are affecting consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing services in developing countries. The research data was collected in June 2021 from Jordanian consumers using an online questionnaire. The collected data was then analyzed to verify the research hypothesizes using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The empirical findings indicate that personalized benefits positively attract consumers to use mobile ridehailing applications. The findings also show that consumers’ privacy concerns negatively affect consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing applications. Moreover, the findings also show that the role of laws and regulations is significant in such contexts as it decreases the negative interaction between privacy concerns and consumers’ intention to use ridehailing applications. Accordingly, this research suggests that ridehailing practitioners should focus on providing more convienent services and at the same time governments and policy makers should provide protective legislations to overcome user’s privacy concerns.</text>

This study aims to build markerless VR-AR (Virtual Reality-Augmented Reality) as Android-based teaching materials for construction engineering students in Polytechnic. VR-AR based teaching materials that have been established can reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 without reducing learning quality. This research used the V-model method, which is divided into two parts, particularly development and testing activities. Testing is performed by developers and examiners using ISO 25010. The test results of VR-AR based teaching materials that have been established show that the teaching materials were very feasible in terms of functional suitability, compatibility, and usability. All functions of the VR-AR application operate smoothly and work successfully on various Android operating systems with different screen resolutions. Moreover, users were satisfied with the developed VR-AR based teaching materials. They felt comfortable, fun, and excited when using the AR application.</text>

<text>Teachers' professional development plays a key role in imparting quality education. However, the design and delivery of quality professional development programs is a challenging problem due to numerous issues such as inadequate policies, lack of skilled personnel and training, politically influenced appointments, and dependency on the traditional modes of training. The COVID-19 pandemic has further escalated the situation and severely affected trainers’ and trainees' interest, motivation, and engagement. Due to its ubiquitous, flexible, and cost-effective nature, technology has played a key role in carrying out educational activities even in the pandemic situation. However, little emphasis has been provided on the use of technology for the professional development of teachers. This study investigates the effects of mobile-based training app on teachers learning outcomes and attitudes towards its usage. The training app is based on our enhanced CPD model for teachers' professional development. For the study, 308 in-service elementary school teachers of division shaheed Benazirabad are selected for the training and assessment purposes. To perform the experiments, teachers were divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group contained 158 teachers which were provided training through the mobile app. The remaining 150 teachers of the control group were provided training using the traditional physical appearance. Pre and post-test were designed to examine the effects of mobile-based training on the teachers’ learning outcomes before and after the training intervention. Besides assessing the learning outcomes, the attitude towards the use of the training app was also assessed using the attitude scale. The analysis of results determined that the training through a mobile app has a significant effect on teachers learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Furthermore, teachers showed a positive attitude towards the use of training app. The experimental group had significantly high attitude scores in post-test toward mobile-based training systems. Teachers’ experience using the mobile app has been perceived as an approach that has significantly increased teaching proficiency. Experimental results suggest that mobile-based professional development modes positively impact teachers' professional and academic achievement and performance to produce a rising number of certified teachers irrespective of time, space, and financial constraints.</text>
