                <text>Nowadays, the fingerprint scanner widely used to records attendance. However, this technology has a weakness. Much research has done to improve the attendance system by utilizing mobile technology, like usage a fingerprint smartphone and location by GPS sensor to validate user location manually. In this research, we developed an application to enhance the records attendance system with a smartphone by crossing numbers to verify user position automatically, which implemented in a mobile app.  This application using the PNPOLY method for detecting the location of the user inside of the polygon area predetermined. This method is part of the crossing number algorithm for increasing x and fixed y from point P, which x is latitude, and y is a longitude. The result of the experiment demonstrated that the percentage of successful validate user coordinate inside edges of the polygon boundary is 87%, depending on the GPS sensor embedded into a mobile device.</text>

                <text>Today's graduating telecommunications engineers need marketable skills that are typically developed beyond the traditional classrooms.  These skills set can be acquired by experimenting for hands-on experience that resembles the professional field workplace. In this paper, we address blending of methodologies, applications, and the use of the Internet for delivery of knowledge, and instruction in an undergraduate wireless communications engineering course.  This solution combines several different delivery methods, such as face-to-face, team collaboration, field measurements, in conjunction with high-end professional simulation software.  Two examples of handover in a dual-mode cellular network and radio frequency (RF) signal propagation modeling are considered.  Demonstrations and verification of theoretical models are presented based-on blending of instructional means.  Lessons are learned to enhance hands-on experiments beyond traditional laboratories to strengthen in-depth analysis, learning skills of students, in addition to promoting proper team collaboration on projects.</text>

                <text>The governing equations of continuity, momentum and energy are numerically solved to study the laminar natural convection heat transfer of Newtonian fluid confined within two concentric cylinders. The inner cylinder is elliptical cross-section with different aspect ratio E = 0.1 to 0.5 and it is considered to be hot, whereas the outer cylinder is circular and it is supposed to be cold.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The annular spacing between the cylinders is defined based on radii ratio (RR = 2.5). Also, the inner cylinder is inclined with an inclination angle (θ = 0 to 90). The main purpose of this study is to determine the effects of inclination angle (θ = 0° to 90°), aspect ratio of inner cylinder (E = 0.1 to 0.5), Prandtl number (Pr = 0.71 and 7.01) and Rayleigh number (Ra = 103 to 105) on fluid flow and heat transfer rate. The flow patterns and temperature distributions are potted in terms of streamlines and isotherms respectively. The obtained results showed that increase in inclination angle enhances the heat transfer rate of inner cylinder for all values of aspect ratio. Also, for the inclination angle&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(θ = 90°), the decrease in aspect ratio (E) improves the heat transfer rate of inner cylinder.</text>

                <text>Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using animated video media on student learning outcomes in Solar System science subjects and to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in class VI SDN Padurenan Jaya.The research design used is a quantitative technique using a quasi-experimental method in the form of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The variables in this study are, the independent variable is the use of animation media, while the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were students of class VI A and VI B at SDN Padurenan Jaya, totaling 52 students. The sample was determined by purposive sampling, namely, 28 students as the experimental group (VI A) and 26 students as the control group (VI B). Data collection techniques in this study used multiple choice tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Testing the requirements of the hypothesis using normality test (using chi squared analysis technique) and homogeneity test. The validity of the test items was carried out by expert judgment and testing instruments. The reliability of the instrument was test calculated by the Kuder-Richardson formula (KR-20) obtained r = 0.893 which means the reliability of the instrument is very high. The data analysis technique used was a separate group t-test (independent sample test). The t-test was used to determine differences in the level of student learning outcomes.Based on the results of the study, the average score for the pretest control class was 46.54 and the average posttest was 64.04; while in the experimental class the average value of the pretest was 48.39 and the average value of the posttest was 74.82. The increase in learning outcomes for the control class was 17.50 and the experimental class was 26.43. Analysis using all results posttest and tested by t-test with the acquisition of t count &amp;gt; t table (4.775 &amp;gt; 2.021), indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, from these results it can be concluded that student learning outcomes using animated video media are greater than the results. Student learning using conventional methods (lectures or blackboards).</text>

Tourism sector is one of the country‟s potentials which has a big role to support the national interests by attaining benefit immensely. Tourism is an efficient industry to earn financial profit and enhance country reputation especially for nations who have abundant of natural resources. As tropical countries, Indonesia and Malaysia government has set up tourism policy which has been outlined into several strategies. The strategies include marketing and promotion activity which purpose to establish public trust towards related countries by inviting more foreign visitors and investors. In responding to this, both countries are branding their nations by doing a public diplomacy in domestic and overseas through tourism activity. This paper will examine the tourism strategy of Indonesia and Malaysia in attempt to increase country image in international community by emphasizing the implementation of public diplomacy in branding the nation through tourism industry during 2010-2015 time frameworks. Thus, we will apply a comparison method in exploring the strengths and weaknesses of tourism strategy in Indonesia and Malaysia.</text>

                <text>Learning in the 21st century emphasize on development of higher order thinking skills such as problem-solving skills with substantial highlight was given toward student-centred approach. Digital game and problem-solving activities are an ideal combination of student-centred approach which facilitate active participation for students to practice and develop their thinking skills. This study was conducted to investigate the effect and the process of using digital game and problem-based learning skills to enhance higher order thinking skills in primary school student in the context of Malaysia. A preliminary study was conducted to 50 samples to collect data about their current higher order thinking skills level. The result shows samples are good in identify problem and solution, but weak in decision making and reasoning. To study the effect of digital game and problem-based learning combined in enhancing higher order thinking skills, a pre-test and post-test was conducted to 35 samples before and after three sessions of digital game problem-based learning section. After running a paired sample t test upon the pre-test and post-test, the result show that the combination of digital game and problem-based learning have significant effect in enhancing higher order thinking skills. To understand samples’ learning process, reflection journal was used after each learning section and an interview was conducted following the post-test. The data gathered indicate samples do enjoy learning with digital games and problem-based learning, and they agreed the approaches help them to learn better. However, they expected for more exciting games and group activities in the future. This study opens a gateway for developing student-centred and fun learning approach that beneficial toward student’s higher order thinking skills.</text>

                <text>In today’s world, digital technology enables us to access knowledge from anywhere, anytime and learn at our pace. This online learning process when made interactive and collaborative can lead to effective learning. Synchronous online learning satisfies these requirements of online and distant learning with focus on the quality of instruction and how effectively learners are engaged. As the name implies, synchronous learning allows instruction and learning to happen in real-time, but not necessarily in the same place. It provides all the advantages of digital, online and distant learning with an added benefit of bringing human interaction to the learning environment which is not available in an asynchronous learning platform. This paper focuses on using synchronous learning environment to enhance mathematics learning. While an abundant source of materials are available online related to mathematics, support from the teacher is always an added advantage especially since mathematics includes problem-solving and logical reasoning. The students will remain engaged and motivated in a synchronous learning environment than in an asynchronous one since immediate feedback is highly appreciated by the students when faced with a critical and challenging concept. If both the teacher and the students are familiar with the use of the synchronous technology tools, synchronous learning can combine the benefits of both face-to-face and online digital learning while bringing the learners together through collaborative learning. Collaboration brings in new ideas and methods of learning. Hence it is inevitable that the present educators make use of this opportunity to humanize online and distant learning by familiarizing themselves with efficient tools and making use of the discoveries and inventions in the field of education, computer science, anthropology, and psychology. There are many tools and software packages available for implementing synchronous learning, and the choice depends on the type of interactions and the pedagogy preferred by the teacher.</text>

                <text>The low involvement of students in online learning resulted in a decrease in their academic performance. This research aims to figure out the effect of adopting online learning innovations such as mobile learning (m-learning) on students’ involvement with digital readiness as a mediator. A total of 89 graduate students from all over Indonesia enrolled at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta participated in the study. To determine the sample, we used purposive sampling. Analysis techniques to test research models used partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. The results are significant for digital readiness as a mediator in student perception of the influence of the adoption of m-learning innovation on student engagement. Although students positively perceive that the adoption of m-learning has a positive effect, they must also have strong digital skills to complete their academic work. Besides, they must also be committed to fully engaged in learning activities using m-learning— this finding provides practical implications for improving effective and interactive online learning in college.</text>

                <text>Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, also known as MANETs are the part of networks which utilizes the technologies like Internet of Things. Internet is filled with known as well as unknown sources which are still considered as a challenge. Considering the security challenges in the topology, infrastructure and bandwidth of these networks the below secure trust approach is proposed. Among all the existing and proposed approaches to provide the security to these networks seemed lengthy and complex. The study here focuses on the trust factor of the nodes to simulate the challenge of providing the secure transmission. The challenge is approached through calculations from the simulations based on node distribution and its trustworthiness. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed secure trust mechanism, three scenarios are considered here. Routing between source ad destination without any trust calculation, routing with only direct trust factor and routing with proposed secure trust calculation from the node’s distributions. The goal of proposed method in this paper is about the secure routing for transmission by simulating the important factor Node trustworthiness using new trust mechanism proposed i.e. secure trust. The metrics from the simulations shows the efficient performance of the proposed method.&amp;nbsp;</text>
