<text>Sharing economy services are growing very quickly, including with successful implementations such as mobile ridehailing services, where by consumers and drivers can coordinate to share rides. This research investigates factors that are affecting consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing services in developing countries. The research data was collected in June 2021 from Jordanian consumers using an online questionnaire. The collected data was then analyzed to verify the research hypothesizes using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The empirical findings indicate that personalized benefits positively attract consumers to use mobile ridehailing applications. The findings also show that consumers’ privacy concerns negatively affect consumers’ intention to use mobile ridehailing applications. Moreover, the findings also show that the role of laws and regulations is significant in such contexts as it decreases the negative interaction between privacy concerns and consumers’ intention to use ridehailing applications. Accordingly, this research suggests that ridehailing practitioners should focus on providing more convienent services and at the same time governments and policy makers should provide protective legislations to overcome user’s privacy concerns.</text>

<text>The purpose of this research is to investigate factors affecting Indonesian pre-service teachers’ (PSTs) teachers’ use of m-learning management systems (m-LMS) in higher education. The difference regarding the use of m-LMS based on some demographic information namely gender, university, year in university, and age are also reported as well as gaining an in-depth understanding of the use of m-LMS in Indonesian universities. To achieve this, two approaches, quantitative and qualitative, were applied. First, we developed and distributed a survey instrument to 210 students teachers based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). In addition, we interviewed 7 of the PSTs to obtain an in-depth understanding of the use of m-learning in their learning. Some statistical calculations were presented such as mean, standard deviation, Cronbach’s alpha, t-test, and ANOVA. Findings suggest that PSTs’ use m-LMS are related to their Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, Subjective norm and attitudes Self-efficacy and supporting condition. From these results, we recommend that teacher educators should target these factors within teacher development programs to prepare PSTs for successful use of m-LMS.</text>

<text>Since 2020, Covid 19 has completely changed the daily activities of almost all nations, and education has been heavily affected. Because of school closures, face-to-face classrooms were halted or replaced with online classes in which both lecturers and learners had to adjust their teaching and learning styles to cope with unexpected situations. The ‘new normal’ of learning from homes, spending hours staring at screens, and struggling with piles of online tasks has somehow demotivated students to continue learning. This study explores factors affecting students’ desire to take online courses after experiencing e-learning during Covid 19. Nine hundred fifty-five students of Vietnam National University took part in the survey via an online questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS20; correlation, hierarchical regression was employed to examine how online factors influence students’ decision. The research results showed that skill enhancement, self-regulated learning, lecturer interaction during the course were among the most important predictors of students’ desire to take more online courses. In contrast, student interaction imposed no significant influence. This study gives the theoretical background for other studies in the same field and suggests practical implications for governments and universities to implement online training better to cope with the pandemic...</text>

<text>Numerous studies have reported the rapid increase in the number of individuals who use smartphones. However, smartphones appear to be increasingly used by healthcare workers, particularly physicians and nurses. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the readiness of medical doctors and patients with chronic conditions in using and adopting smartphones for communication. This study employs the Technology Acceptance Model to examine the behavior of people in using smartphones from the perspectives of trust and rural areas. To realize our objective, we conducted a questionnaire survey that involved medical doctors and patients with chronic conditions. Our particular focus was Al Qunfudhah City in Saudi Arabia. More than 200 questionnaires were distributed to people belonging to different healthcare sectors in the rural areas of Al Qunfudhah City. Our aim was to include every possible scenario and to obtain excellent perspectives. The results that we eventually analyzed indicated that trust factor and rural areas significantly influence the readiness of people belonging to the healthcare sector toward using smartphones. The results of our study concur with the findings of other studies. Our results indicate that smartphones and other high-technology gadgets are now necessary and accepted devices in the different healthcare fields. However, further studies should explore the challenges and effects of smartphone use in the healthcare sector.</text>

<text>Smartphone usage is increasing due to several features and opportunities offered by manufacturers and service providers. Existing literature attributes this increased usage to the availability of virtual assistants, mainly voice assistants, that ensure users' facility and maximum benefit. This research also focused on the factors behind voice assistant usage, particularly in iPhones among users in the United Arab Emirates. Notably, the conceptual framework in this research is supported by the Theory of Reasoned Action. The researchers adopted a cross-sectional design and gathered data from n= 251 respondents. Data analysis through Structural Equation Modelling revealed that, Perceived Ease of Use, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioral Control work as significant factors contributing to iPhone-based voice assistant usage. On the other hand, Expectation Confirmation also works as a significant factor in Siri usage. On the other hand, Satisfaction significantly mediated (p> .022) the users’ Expectation Confirmation leading to Siri usage among the respondents. Further, the Artificial Neural Network Analysis (ANN) revealed an overall accuracy regarding Training at 14.8% and 30.8% concerning Testing. Thus, it is concluded that the devices accompanied by ease of use are preferred due to their distinguished services. In this regard, highlighting voice assistants' help also reflects the importance of technology in our daily lives. Especially mobile computing is playing a significant role in improving our everyday technology experiences.</text>

<text>This study seeks to find out the extent of different influence factors have on the attitude of the Faculty towards adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Teachers who have differences in demographical variables may also differ in their adaptability tendencies. Survey methodology was facilitatedusing questionnaires which were given to 300 College teachers randomly chosen from different colleges working under different types of management in the city of Bangalore. 287 questionnaireswere returned. Out of these, 250 were considered complete and chosen as our study sample. Oscarson’s ‘Adoption to proneness’ scale was adopted with minor modifications in language and items based on available literature. A pilot study was done with 50 sample size for checking validity. After satisfactory results came, the adopted questionnaire was given to 300 respondents. A personal data form was also given to gather the personal details of these respondents regarding their age, gender, department of work, teaching level, teaching workload per week, years of experience and academic qualification. The analysis shows significant differences in influence in adoption of ICT among age groups, department of work and teaching levels. Academic qualification didn’t show any significant difference. The implications of the findings will help in formulation of tailor-made ICT in-service training and orientation programmes for teachers who are digital immigrants and teachers who are digital natives as well.</text>

However, little research has been reported to indicate the success of the concern in Indonesia. Therefore, This study was conducted to assess factors influencing Indonesian PSTs’ satisfaction (ST) and intention to use (IU) the Internet for learning through technology acceptance model (TAM). Data was gathered from a total of 596 pre-service teachers (PSTs) from five universities in Indonesia. The measurement and assessment of the model were developed through a partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results informed that Indonesian PSTs’ ST was strongly influenced by perceived ease of use (PEU) and IU. Besides, PSTs’ IU was predicted by Attitude (AT), PU and PEU.</text>

<text>The Saudi Arabian government is committed to updating and improving its education system. Thus, in March 2017, a project was declared to convert the existing book-based methodology to modern, mobile technology in the K-12 education space by 2021. As part of this process, a deep-dive literature review of student acceptance of mobile learning confirmed that there was limited research into what elements had an effect on how much students were likely to accept learning with mobile applications in the five to 18-year-old demographic of K-12. The conclusion of the literature review was that the Saudi Arabian Education Ministry must acquire an understanding of these elements in order to strategize the implementation of the new technology. This study approached high school students, aged 16 – 18, in Saudi Arabia, to examine the elements which would influence their acceptance of mobile learning technology. The research consolidated known elements of education, namely learning self-management, system quality, and hedonic motivation with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to create a significant theoretical model for the new technology in a high school setting. Conclusions were drawn that societal influence did not affect the student’s approach to mobile learning, but that learning self-management, the expectancy of effort and performance, hedonic motivation and the quality of the system did affect the acceptance behaviour of the students. It was also noted that gender was not a significant factor in the study</text>
