<text>Images for social media are an essential component of any blog or social media post. As we now live in the age of the 'camera in everyone's pocket', a new dynamic era of image creation and content has emerged. However, people use media due to specific motives or gratifications that lead to their satisfaction of social media use. This research study utilized uses and gratification theory (UGT), a sociology theory related to the motives of people using the media. The UGT factors include enjoyment, entertainment, social influence, social interaction, and information sharing. There were 441 data that were collected and analysed. IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and Smart PLS 3.3.3 were used for the data analysis. Result showed that information sharing was the most influencing factors on users’ satisfaction to use image in social media. Therefore, the factors identified in these studies could be used as a guideline and references in future study related to social media awareness and implications.</text>

Responses from institutions with no institutional plans for mobile learning and others that do plan or currently have developed mobile learning programmes were compared. Various factors that may contribute to the establishment of mobile learning in educational institutions were therefore also investigated. These factors include, amongst other, expectations concerning the impact of mobile technologies on teaching and learning, and perceptions concerning mobile learning applications and mobile learning activities.</text>

<text>This study focuses on factors that predict consumer attitudes towards short message service (SMS) advertising. The purpose of the study is to build a predictive framework that can be employed to identify which factors of SMS advertising contribute to different attitudinal groups. This study is based on the push and pull motivation theory which, in this context, explains and predicts consumer responses to SMS advertisements. The results of the discriminant analysis indicate that three factors of SMS advertising are responsible for group separation, namely perceived SMS infotainment, perceived knowledge and fear of spamming. The discriminant model enables practitioners to predict the category to which consumers belong based on their responses to the factors of SMS advertising, and allows media practitioners to use SMS advertising more effectively.</text>

<text>Fake accounts on online social networks are increasing today with an increase in the number of active social network users. Social media websites allow users to share thoughts, facts, views and re-sharing these into various networks. Social media platforms provide users with enormous valuable information but with this great amount of information in social media, many issues like fake profile, online hacking have also grown. The fake profiles in online social sites create fake news and share unwanted material which contains spam links that affect natural users. The massive issue in social media communication networks is spam and it is necessary to identify fake profiles to stop spam. In this paper, a supervised machine learning algorithm called support vector machine (SVM) is used to identify fake accounts on social media effectively. In order to automatically identify fake online profiles, Random Forest classifier is used with SVM. With this concept, it can be applied online easily to identify millions of accounts that cannot be examined manually. The result of this model is compared with other identification techniques and the results show that the proposed algorithm performs better with high precision and recall. This method efficiently safeguards social media networks from online threats and attacks.</text>

<text>The implementation of the Pre-conception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 in a patriarchal country like India does not necessarily eliminate sex-selective abortions. The prevalence of a higher preference of sons in India can be identified in previous studies. Over the years a drastic fall in Total Fertility Rates both in urban and rural areas of India can be observed along with various inventions of sex determination techniques. All this has resulted in a decline in child sex ratio across the country. China is a great example of a country with alarming gender imbalances, which emerged due to similar changes in Total Fertility Rate, level of son preference and diagnostic techniques along with the implementation of the One-Child Policy, which made the gender imbalance even worse. The population explosion in India has forced several state governments to consider the implementation of a Two Child Policy. The relationship between Sex Selective Abortions (SSA) and Family Planning Policies is not a well-established phenomenon in India as per several studies that have been conducted as of today. Our objective in this paper is to see whether the stringent implementation of nation-wide Family Planning Policies will lead to a rise in sex selective abortions in India. Further we would also like to analyse how in India by imposing a Family Planning Policy like a one or a two-child policy will the Child Sex Ratio (age 0-6) get affected? To achieve these objectives, we have used the NFHS-4 reports as our data sources.</text>

Network flows carrying CAPTCHA content have a very small lifespan and require high transmission quality, making for special handling at transport layer. The present study introduces an analysis-derived, rapidly converging control mechanism for CAPTCHA flows. Instead of relying on generic heuristics, the novel scheme enables the flows to estimate their deviation from the equilibrium and adapt to it in a single step. Simulations demonstrate the high efficiency and convergence speed of the scheme, highlighting its unique fitness for the appointed task.</text>

In order to regulate not only performance enhancement, but also human enhancement, the World Anti-Doping Agency must articulate the legitimate public interest of elite sport so as to justify its regulatory mandate to prescribe strict-liability offences. This article argues that the necessary public interest in elite sport is the pursuit of human excellence, passively pursued through the concept of spectatorship. On this basis, a two-limb test is offered to reorient and guide the regulation of enhanced athletes. This conceptual rationale and subsequent test provide clarity where advances in technology increasingly blur the distinction between performance enhancement and human enhancement.</text>

Jeden znejvýznamnějších světových expertů na problematiku muslimskéhoextremismu, rodák z Libanonu vyučující mezinárodní vztahy v Londýně,podává zasvěcený a do hloubky jdoucí portrét této zlověstné organizace.Počátky islámského státu Gerges sleduje v chaosu vyvolaném americkouinvazí do Iráku v roce 2003, popisuje, jak jej posílily události kolem tzv.arabského jara a jak dokázal převzít z rukou al-Káidy vůdčí rolidžihádistického hnutí. Věnuje se hlavní postavě takzvaného Islámskéhostátu, Abú Bakru al-Bagdádímu, jeho strategii a metodám stejně jakozákladní komponentě úspěchu IS, vztahu mezi militantními džihádisty aněkdejšími důstojníky rozpuštěné irácké armády Saddáma Husajna. Vesvětle dění v Iráku a Sýrii v posledních měsících vyznívají aktuálně autorovaslova o tom, že i pokud bude IS vojensky poražen, nepřestane existovat.

<text>In the contemporary globalised economy, service sector attracts the major share of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the world. India being a part of this phenomenon also attracts most of its FDI in the service sector. The present paper highlights the trend in FDI movement in the world in general and India in particular. Further, it reviews the FDI policy in India in the post liberalized period. The growth of FDI in services sector may be attributed to the changing pattern of global FDI and also the liberalization and globalization policies pursued by India. Since 2000, the high inflow of FDI has resulted in the growth of new services viz., financial and non-financial services, telecommunication, computer software and hardware, hotel and tourism, construction activities and real estate. The growth of services sector had led to the growth of export of services from India which now accounts the majority of export from the country.</text>
