                <text>Most media work today takes place under atypical conditions, i.e. media professionals such as journalists, musicians, filmmakers, advertising creatives and game developers generally work without open-ended contracts. In this essay, a theory of atypical media work is outlined highlighting this way of working and being at work from the current culture of capitalism. Further, it also throws light on how dualisms, dominating the discourse on media work – such as contracted versus freelance labour, primary and secondary sector employment, good versus bad jobs, paid versus unpaid work – are not as useful as they seem to be is shown. It also delves into the different ways of making precarity, precariousness, constrained autonomy and lack of agency and highlights themas the key problematic features of atypical work – productive (beyond productivity narratives). Throughout the argument, the reasons and motivations for (doing and studying) atypical media work are articulated with a distinct sense of shared social hope.

                <text>The research on the impact of alcoholism on the family indicates that alcoholism often poses threat to the wellbeing of the family, the most affected ones being the other spouse and the children. Alcoholism often poses serious risk to the emotional, cognitive, behavioural, physical and social wellbeing of the abuser, the partner and the children. Most of the researches have explored the impact of parental alcoholism on the negative outcome on psychosocial development of partners and children, very few documented studies have been carried out on the positive aspects of life such as wellbeing and futuristic hope in the children of alcoholic parents (COA). This study attempts to explore the relationship and the difference between QOL and Hope in COA and children of non-alcoholics (CONA). The study was conducted on a sample of 60 children each between the age of 12 to 15 from alcoholics and non-alcoholic parents drawn from a district of Kerala using purposive sampling technique. The measures used were QOL-BREF by WHO (1996) and Children Hope Scale (CHS) by Snyder et al. (1996). The data was first analyzed using the descriptive statistics, the normality of the data was checked using Shapiro Wilk test, Mann-Whitney U test was used to find the difference between the COA and CONA on QOL and Hope. The relationship between the variables was assed using Spearman rank correlation. The results of the study indicate that there is significant difference in QOL among the children of alcoholics and non-alcoholics. The COA demonstrated comparatively less Hope than the CONA, however there was no significant difference among them. The QOL and Hope were correlated only among the CONA. The study has implication for positive intervention for the COA, parental and school based interventions such as preventive, remedial and holistic counselling or therapy.</text>

                <text>Child abuse and neglect affects approximately 42 500 children in Australia each year. Parliaments in all Australian states and territories have introduced mandatory reporting into child protection legislation to protect vulnerable children by requiring certain individuals to report suspicions of abuse or neglect. However, lawyers are prevented from reporting because of the rules governing legal professional privilege and confidentiality. This article begins by examining the problem of child abuse and neglect in Australia and outlines the current legislative framework of mandatory reporting laws in Part II. Part III discusses the current rules governing lawyers and examines legal professional privilege and the duty of confidentiality. Part IV provides arguments for and against requiring lawyers to report suspected abuse and also considers the lawyer-client relationship and the special position of domestic violence victims. Part V offers recommendations for the proposed legislative reform. This article concludes that lawyers should be required to report child abuse and neglect.</text>

                <text>The effectivity and efficiency of the learning process is very dependent on the quality of teacher. Therefore must improve their quality by conducting various learning innovations, one of them by implementing ICT-based learning. The purpose of this study was to develop e-worksheet using kvisoft flipbook maker software based on lesson study to improve chemistry teacher’s critical thinking ability. This research used development model 4-D namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of this research was involved chemistry teachers and student of grade XI of Senior High School in Rokan Hulu, Riau, Indonesia. The draft e-worksheet was validated by experts using validation questionnaires and critical thinking ability instruments using essay tests. The data were analyzed using N-Gain formulation. Based on the result, the developed e-worksheet in chemistry material has exactly valid with score percentages 88.88% and average critical thinking ability about 60 with enough category. Therefore, it can be concluded that e-worksheets using kvisoft flipbook maker software based on lesson studies that have been developed can improve critical thinking ability of teacher and students.</text>

                <text>Contradictions and levels of difficulty in the industrial era 4.0, especially culinary changes occur very quickly which requires humans to have the capability, to become individuals who have the skills to act. This study provides an assessment to measure the capabilities of vocational education students in statistics through instruments that have been designed and examine the competencies and soft skills that affect capabilities for future work in industry 4.0. The instrument was developed through mobile technology using Google Form and this research was conducted using quantitative methods and analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis. A total of 245 respondents from vocational education students in the culinary program were observed using a questionnaire that had been designed. Based on the results of the test analysis of exogenous confirmatory factors and endogenous indicators of capability (literacy, numeracy, ICT, critical and creative thinking, personal and social skills, and ethical understanding) showed significant value, while the reliability relationship with Cronbach alpha showed values&amp;gt; 0.06 which means significant. Based on the results of the goodness of fit test, this research model is fit which that means the mobile-based instruments that have been developed in this study are feasible to test the capabilities of students in vocational education at culinary programs</text>

                <text>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic spreading around the globe, it has affected many fields of human life, including educational services. It has been closed for months to eradicate the transmission of its virus. Corresponding to the situation, which changes dramatically, the educational institutions made some transformations and innovations to keep the class and instructional running safely for all by moving the regular sitting class face-to-face to online learning. Educational institutions, as well as podcasts, have developed several online learning media. This study explored the students' attitudes and preference towards creating content for online learning materials/ content by utilizing podcasts in innovative learning through an online survey of 84 students. The study results showed that most respondents (80%) stated that they were about to be enthusiastic, welcoming a new pattern of the instructional process by applying podcasts to develop subject content. The ﬁndings show the respondents’ attitudes and perceptions toward Podcast Content Development for Smart Learning are very positive with efficiency (80%), accessibility (90%), interactivity (90%), quality (82%).  They preferred to access online learning materials by maximizing the smartphone as its effective and efficient reason. They tend to have brief and meaningful content considering the size and broadband connectivity to achieve flexible and convenient online classes for smart learning</text>

                <text>Mobile based culinary recommendation system has become critical topic in mobile application. Some methods presented in the literature propose the use of the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), AHP TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and fuzzy AHP for mobile based culinary recommendation system. However, there are no comparative studies of these three methods when applied to mobile based culinary recommendation system. Thus, this research presents a comparative analysis of these three methods in the context of culinary recommendation system in mobile environment. The comparison was made based on accuracy and time complexity because mobile application environment needs low time complexity. The results have shown that all of these methods are suitable for culinary recommendation system in mobile environment. Fuzzy AHP have the highest accuracy between all of these methods, it have 66,67 % accuracy. But, AHP TOPSIS shows the best performance in time complexity, with order of growth in quadratic class (n2)</text>

Several say that this “productivist” strategy is much less determined by the concepts of citizenship, legal, social rights, and much more regarding building functions. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the welfare and social policy ideas that characterize Chinese aid in Africa are influencing traditional donors and becoming global. The article utilised a qualitative study that has two main components. First, a comprehensive content analysis of over 50 key Sino-African, Chinese and Western policy documents from 2000 (since cooperation between Beijing and African countries first became institutionalised). Second, there were semi-structured interviews with Chinese, African and Western stakeholders in Addis Ababa, (Ethiopia), who was directly involved in the relationship between China and Africa and related development issues. The result of documentation and interview analyses show that there are currently significant differences between Chinese and Western approaches. China has made much stronger and more explicit links between development aid and economic activity than most Western donors. The aid is usually implemented through specific projects rather than broader programs or policies.</text>

                <text>The cloud paradigm has swiftly developed, and it is now well known as one of the emerging technologies that will have a significant influence on technology and society in the next few years. Cloud computing also has several benefits, including lower operating costs, server consolidation, flexible system setup, and elastic resource supply. However, there are still technological hurdles to overcome, particularly with real-time applications by providing resources. Resources allocation management most charming part of cloud computing; therefore, several authors have worked in the area of resource usage. This study introduces an innovative cloud machine learning framework-based linear regression approach called cloud linear regression (CLR), which entails both cloud technology and machine learning concept. CLR using machine learning yielded good prediction results for resource allocation management, as appeared with many researching, and still seek, research to raise optimal solutions to the resources' allocation problem as the aim of this study.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This study discusses the relation between cloud resource allocation management and machine learning techniques by illustrating the role of linear regression methods, resource distribution, and task scheduling. The analytical analysis shows that the CLR promises to present an effective solution for resources (scheduling, provisioning, allocation, and availability).</text>

                <text>The study of power has been one of the main features of IR. While hard power remained at the forefront of the academic discourse for a long time, soft power emerged as an alternative to understand the complex interactions between states and how states employ different sources of non-coercive means to persuade global actors. Nye, in the late twentieth century, perpetrated the idea to indicate the shift from assertion to attraction. This research has focused on why soft power has been a more relevant device for certain states in the system that lack military might. The research has largely analyzed and described the various ways in which small states around the world have resorted to soft power in the face of the interdependent world order. It then has looked into the different ways through which Nepal as a small state can effectively examine its soft power sources, to garner influence in the global power structure and obtain its foreign policy objectives, keeping in mind that the soft power of any state is dependent of the resources that it has and is also able to mobilize.</text>
