<text>Communication between machines has become commonplace in recent years, and the Internet of Things (IoT) is gaining notoriety. Congestion control is a prevalent issue in the transportation system, and GPS devices, which drivers and traffic authorities alike utilise, are well-suited to the job. Traffic density is expanding at an alarming rate, making it impossible for drivers to see and handle all of the possible scenarios in a traffic area they are ready to enter. It's also becoming increasingly difficult to maintain security and integrity due to a growing number of assaults by hackers that send harmful code or bogus packets. There are a few new technologies that have yet to be put into practise under the Internet of Things umbrella, including ubiquitous computing (IoT).</text>

<text>Videos have emerged as a dominant medium for educational purposes in many Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platforms. Online learning videos are visual components of the online learning platforms. They are particularly interesting for students who are visual learners and who learn best by watching the short format engaging videos rather than by just reading or listening to course materials. The paper focuses on the categorization of factors that are responsible for the success/popularity of online learning videos. The research is based on the literature review and video observations of the MOOC platforms, in particular of the Khan Academy and Coursera. In this paper, we propose a tabular and a spider graph as a condensed overview of categories that should commonly be utilized by the online learning video production to make them successful.</text>

<text>This study aimed to develop and investigate the impact of the implementation of the Mobile-Learning Management System, which we call elektronik Bimbingan Baca al-Qur’an (e-BBQ, a word in the Indonesian Language), in fostering student’s worship. This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Malang in the odd semester of the 2018-2019 academic year with ADDIE research design. The implementation stage was carried out with a one-group pretest-posttest design. As a result, the e-BBQ developed was in the form of applications and websites with some menus including Al-Qur'an learning, worship, training, and log in instructor. The evaluation by experts, as well as students and instructors showed that the products developed were suitable for use. e-BBQ has a positive effect; the quality of student’s worship increased significantly after participating in learning by utilizing e-BBQ. e-BBQ is considered to be an interesting medium for learning Islamic religion, able to make learning more enjoyable, and raise the student’s learning motivation</text>

The use of virtual trainers Electric lighting installation can be used anywhere and anytime with the help of an Android-based smartphone device. The use of AR technology is a technological development that helps users be able to interact directly with lighting installation components in a virtual form that has been designed to resemble the actual form. This study applied AR technology to learning aids called virtual trainers in the field of electrical lighting installations specifically residential. In running a virtual trainer application, several procedures must have been performed before it became an application that was ready to use. The results of this study were virtual trainers as an aid in understanding the components of residential electric lighting installations with AR mobile technology. This application system simulated 3D of 1 phase electrical lighting installation components in residential homes.</text>

Persons with visual impairments are who can enjoy swimming with the help of sensors. The aim of the study was to create aids for sensor-based blind visual swimming that can be used during swimming exercises. The method used is a qualitative approach, the main data obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation and procedures of research and development used is the Borg and Gall model. This study is expected to contribute to blind swimming aids material products which are effectively used for swimming exercise skills. This study concluded that the product development sensor based blind learning swimming aids can be used for motion skills training for blind swimming athletes.</text>

<text>The higher education system around the world is being rapidly developed towards digitalization – from computers to laptops, from laptops to tablets and smartphones. Accordingly, traditional delivery of instruction is being shifted towards blended learning that is being gradually replaced with distance learning, i.e. higher education is moving forward with mobile learning (m-learning) technologies. The introduction of mobile learning became the most topical event in 2020 in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, due to which many countries had to completely move to distance learning in higher education. The purpose of the study is to analyze the prospects for the widespread use of mobile applications in teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) in Russia to Russian and Arab learners. In the course of the study, an online survey based on a questionnaire consisting of four open and closed questions was conducted. An empirical method was applied to collect the research data. The survey was conducted at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Engineering Academy of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (EA PFUR). The total research sample included 200 participants and consisted of: 50 potential employers, 50 Russian and Arab students of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia studying Linguistics (training program code 035700), 50 faculty members, namely teachers of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Moscow State Pedagogical University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, as well as 50 administrative staff of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The purpose of the survey was to collect information about the use of mobile applications (Smartphone Apps) and the introduction of mobile learning technology (m-learning) in the process of teaching EFL to students. According to the results of the survey, instructors are actively using mobile technologies in their professional activities and all participants in the learning process are receptive to their introduction in education. At the same time, respondents believe that technical challenges are the major obstacle to the adoption of mobile applications; these problems must be overcome in order to enable more productive use of mobile applications. In this regard, the study of mobile applications that are suitable for specific aspects of learning a foreign language, such as spoken language, reading comprehension, listening or writing, can be considered a promising research area.</text>

<text>In shipbuilding, the process of forming flat metal plate into curved hull plates with compound shapes is very important and has greatly affected many economic and technical factors such as strength, quality, and aesthetics of the hull, construction cost and time, etc. Currently, the forming method of curved hull plates by line heating is used effectively and commonly in many shipyards, however, its main problem is very difficult to determine where and how much to heat on the flat metal plate to obtain the plate of a certain shape. In this article, a finite element model is established and adjusted based on the actual data to numerical simulate the process of forming hull plates by using flame torch line heating. Base on this, the suitable position and temperature for the heating lines in the forming process are determined to form a metal plate into hull plates with the exact desired shapes. This research has been applied for forming by torch line heating of two plates, denoted K1 and K10, in the bulb bow of a 20,000 DWT cargo ship, built at Camranh Shipyard in Vietnam with the deformation deviations between the actual and desired plate surfaces are within ± 3%. </text>

<text>The text presents a contribution to the study of territoriality of violent non-state actors in areas of limited internal state power projection. It presentsthe strategy of liquid territoriality as a survival strategy of the territorialviolent non-state actors, as well as a strategy to develop protostatestructures. It builds on three pillars – minimal opposition of (primarilyexternal) state security services, support from the local population, and theability to reflect the dynamic development of power distribution. Thisstrategy is later applied to Al-Shabaab. This application helps us to betterunderstand not only the territorial development of the movement but alsothe limits of territorial control of violent non-state actors in general.</text>

It is part of an on-going project on the usages of new technologies in education. The general properties of mobile platforms are discussed together with details specific to demonstrating sorting algorithms. The implementation of Insertion Sort is given as an example. The obtained results (e.g. design rules and algorithms) have been tested within a prototype application.</text>
