<text>Bengaluru is one of the fastest growing cities in India. This paper traces the emergence of Bengaluru as one of the leading hubs of Information and CommunicationTechnology as well as Research and Development in India. This is rooted in a complex combination of historical forces such as leadership during the colonial and post-independence periods, the influence of the city‟scolonial past, infrastructure development, as well as the impact of policy, and shifts in the same in independent India. Some of the more recent forces that have helped to shape the city have been the investment in educational and research institutions of high repute as well as in Public Sector Undertakings which resulted in the unique character of the city and its culture. These, along with a favourable policy climate, have been influential in the emergence of the city as a global leader in the field ofResearch and Development and Information Technology which has earned it its nickname of the „Silicon Valley of India‟</text>

<text>This paper presents a simple approach to providing location-based services (LBSs) for the remotely located educational and health institutes on demand, particularly in emergency situations i.e., COVID-19, using an antenna array. The proposed approach consists of the sum and difference patterns of the signal obtained from the antenna array at the base station of a wireless network. It provides the location of the targeting institute i.e., education and health, in terms of the angle-of-arrival (AoA) which can be used to steer the radiation beam in the targeted direction in order to provide the desired services i.e., emergency wireless communication link. In this way, fast and high bandwidth-based communication and networking can be possible for the mentioned organizations. We show antenna array design and location finding results in this paper. The obtained results in terms of antenna parameters and AoA show that the proposed approach is efficient, less complicated, and can be implemented in the next-generation wireless networks i.e., AI-enabled IoT and 5G systems, particularly for the educational and health institutes.</text>

<text>Understanding player behavior in a game is quite important to know people model thinking. Through puzzle games, people can train spatial abilities in a geometry lesson. Spatial ability consists of five groups, one of them is perceptual speed. The Perceptual Speed factor is characterized by the speed in finding a configuration in a mess of distracting material. This research purposes to know user behavior in Tangram Puzzle game based on user data log. Analysis user behavior from two aspects: the dominant of first selecting a puzzle pieces and the correlation between the number of puzzle completion with time. And based on this research can be concluded that player will choose a shape that easily to identified and has a larger size than other to be completed first. Whereas the correlation between the number of completion and time is on a moderate level and quite significant.</text>

<text>Threats towards information systems have continued to increase and become more sophisticated, making security approaches a necessity for all types of organizations to ensure their protection. To implement an appropriate computer security policy, it is necessary to efficiently exploit the data that has become a valuable asset for these security systems, provided it is well used, controlled and monitored. In this paper, we focus on developing a decentralized solution based on Blockchain technology and IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) that can maintain and ensure the integrity of log files and sensitive information. The obtained results are promising, we obtained a distributed ledger of all log file transactions in a chronological sequence, which was shared among all Ethereum participants, allowing us to verify the log files' integrity, validity, and auditability throughout their life cycle.</text>

<text>Artillery fires are aimed at crippling the enemy's war-waging machinery. Such operations are time-sensitive since they need to ensure that the enemy is engaged effectively and sufficiently degraded at critical points in time and space to achieve combat superiority. A robust, persistent, and seamless sensor-to-shooter link ensures the shortest loop between acquisition and targeting. Loitering Munitions if inducted into the Indian Artillery will be a gamechanger in this field and will fill the existing voids in surveillance-cut precision engagement capability between 40-200 km. In view of this, the paper examines the capability voids to suggest a solution based on the employment of Loitering Munitions to fill such lacunae—both in lethal and non-lethal domains, taking into consideration the present and the future security paradigm in the region.</text>

<text>An emerging literature has shown concerns about the impact of thepandemic on the proliferation of digital surveillance. Contributing to thesedebates, in this paper we demonstrate how the pandemic facilitates digitalsurveillance in three ways: (1) By shifting everyday communication to digitalmeans it contributes to the generation of extensive amounts of datasusceptible to surveillance. (2) It motivates the development of new digitalsurveillance tools. (3) The pandemic serves as a perfect justification forgovernments to prolong digital surveillance. We provide empiricalanecdotes for these three effects by examining reports by the Global DigitalPolicy Incubator at Stanford University. Building on our argument, weconclude that we might be on the verge of a dangerous normalization ofdigital surveillance. Thus, we call on scholars to consider the full effects ofpublic health crises on politics and suggest scrutinizing sources of digitaldata and the complex relationships between the state, corporate actors, and the sub-contractors behind digital surveillance.</text>

<text>Sungai Pusu is the river that passes through the IIUM Gombak campus. The river has been having a cloudy appearance for years hence it is needed to quantify the vital signs such as pH, temperature, and turbidity because these are the vital signs indicating the health of a river. Currently, there a lot of monitoring systems however the available monitoring systems do not support long-range communication and consume a lot of power. The data need to be transmitted at a long-range as it is being monitored remotely at a long distance. Therefore, a river pollution monitoring system must be developed to track the emergency vital signs (EVSs) of the river water The EVs include pH, temperature as well as turbidity. This project capitalizes on the long-range communication and low power consumption LoRaWAN system. The prototype monitoring station design can read the important EVSs of the river such as temperature, pH level, and turbidity. The sensors are connected to a microcontroller board. The readings of the EVSs are transmitted by the LoRa gateway which is forwarding the data to The Things Network Server. A graphical representation of the data is displayed on Ubidots. The results attained quantify the contribution of the IIUM populace to Sungai Pusu Pollution and raise awareness. It is also important to discuss the possibilities to the pollution of the river to see how one’s action could contribute to it. A statistical data of the results is as important so that an overall result can be deduced. Based on the results, the pH is decreased 1.32 pH, the temperature is increased by 2.29°C, and turbidity is decreased by 0.44 NTU throughout the monitoring period. In the future, six more monitoring stations will be added to accommodate KL River of Life (RoL) EVSs too.</text>

<text>This article investigates Indonesian laws that require contracts to be in the Indonesian language if a party is Indonesian or an Indonesian entity is ‘involved’. It identifies the problems this creates for business arrangements in Indonesia, particularly those involving investors from English-speaking backgrounds. The article begins with an account of relevant Indonesian statutes and regulations before exploring a series of judicial decisions regarding language requirements for a valid contract. It finds that the Indonesian courts have been inconsistent in their application of law in this area, and that this has created significant uncertainty. It then examines the implications of this situation for legal practice, showing that it has led to increased risks and costs for foreign and local businesses. It concludes with two alternative proposals for reform. </text>

<text>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world's population has undergone different changes in which an impact on the use of the internet stands out from daily aspects such as education, commerce, health, among others; which has made us highly dependent on its usage. In this regard, the term Internet of Things (IoT) has been increasingly recognized for its contribution to improving people's life quality, through objects that are integrated and connected to the Internet. This document aims to introduce alternatives for IoT-based home automation making use of NodeMCU, Sinric Pro, and smart voice assistants such as Google Home and Alexa. The proposals are efficient in terms of easy implementation and reduce electricity consumption by around 30%. This document is research that helps families improve their energy efficiency and daily productivity through IoT.</text>
