This study examines tourists’ perception of mobile travel apps engagement in Pakistan. A field intercept survey was distributed to 500 respondents approached at tourism sites with a high flow of tourists in Northern Pakistan. Data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) via the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach using Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The EFA analysis by using the principal component method of extraction and the varimax method of rotation yielded five factors. Respondents heavily emphasize item TS2 “I am very satisfied with the mobile travel apps” of tourist satisfaction factor. Likewise, this item emerged as the most dominant in the CFA analysis, followed by item TS3 "I am happy with the mobile travel apps", and item TS4 "I am satisfied with the way mobile travel app organizes the trip". The findings are vital to advancing extant mobile travel apps engagement research, while also guiding their developers to better design mobile travel apps to boost tourists’ trust and satisfaction. Parenting a child with special needs, such as children with autism, is very taxing, as they need intensive and life-long intervention in diverse areas. This paper is an attempt to assess the need of those parents of children with autism and to develop an intervention programme to take care of the psychosocial issues. The study had two phases. In the first phase 120 parents of children with autism spectrum disorders were interviewed using a semi structured interview schedule and GHQ 28. In the second phase, an intervention module was prepared and implemented with 20 parents. The results show that the mean psychological distress was significantly higher for mothers compared to fathers. The scores on subscales show that mothers have higher level of somatic symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction and depression compared to fathers. The pre and post analysis of the group intervention shows that there is a drop in the level of distress and increase in the awareness on child’s illness in parents after the group intervention. The findings show that addressing parental needs in a group setting can be very effective and beneficial in helping parents reduce their distress levels and hence making them better equipped to look after their child with a disability like autism. This paper examines the process of an attempted civil service reform in Russia starting from the first term of Putin's Presidency. Based upon interviews with experts and senior public officials, it elaborates on the role of leadership, or the willingness of the national political elite to improve the system of public administration; the impact of path-dependency upon the course of institutional transformation; and finally, the role of reform strategy in the policy implementation process. The article concludes that the case of civil service reform in Russia may be explained by a combination of policy-making variables listed above. While Bangladesh has always called it genocide, Pakistan has always denied both the intent and the scale of killings. This paper argues that the struggle of East Pakistanis to form their own country was reduced to a civic-political demand and not an ethnic-based claim to distinct nationalism. Revisiting Bangladesh‟s claims of genocide based on primary and archival material, this paper posits that the violence unleashed in former East Pakistan amounted to the systematic wiping out of the ethnic distinctiveness of its people through ideological, economic, political and military means. This paper contends that the recognition of the massacre in former East Pakistan during its Liberation Struggle as genocide is not only ethically demanded, but this recognition also demands a qualitative widening of the existing legal understanding of genocide.
