<text>A global phenomenon of population ageing and an increasing number of patients with chronic diseases place substantial additional pressure on healthcare systems. A possible solution for this problem is a new emerging sort of pervasive personal healthcare service that is focused on the patient and allows the patient to be actively involved in his or her own health care. In this paper, we propose the architecture of the pervasive personal healthcare service which is based on the existing technologies available to almost everyone. Along with the conventional request-response synchronous communication, the proposed system features asynchronous communication based on publish-subscribe-notify model. In order to perform asynchronous communication, a web application server is integrated with the Google Cloud Messaging service. The communication between mobile device and servers is carried out through the available Wi-Fi or mobile networks, whereas Bluetooth protocol is conventional for Body Sensor Networks consisting of wearable sensor devices. We also present a mobile application which has been developed with use-case driven approach for both patients and medical personnel. The introduced application has a form of a nonintrusive customized mobile social network. We explain usage scenarios that clarify the required functions and present conclusions based on the system test.</text>

To činí nejmenší evropské státy pozoruhodnými nejen zperspektivy politické vědy.</text>

<text>Nowadays, pharmaceutical mobile applications are widely used. Several features and functionality play an important role to support the real needs of users especially in primary medication. Users’ behaviors in the modern world have changed where users may prefer to access drug information using search engines via the Internet rather than consulting with professionals like pharmacists, doctors or experts. However, the drug information that users retrieve from the internet sources may provide inaccurate, incomplete or unreliable information. The questions are: can we decrease this phenomenon? Suppose that we are applying an application to a content provider, which application functionalities are suitable for users and support their real needs? Can the application encourage users to gather drug information via the application instead of searching via the internet sites? The proposed study aimed to develop a Pharmacy Assistant Mobile Application (PAMA) based on necessarily required features and functionalities which are designed and operate on the iOS operation system. The application performance has been tested and measured regarding the graphic user interface and the system acceptance level. The experimental results have been reviewed and an issue has been found which needs to be considered as an important factor when developing a healthcare mobile application for the real uses.</text>

<text>With increasing technology developments, the Internet has become everywhere and accessible by everyone. There are a considerable number of web-pages with different benefits. Despite this enormous number, not all of these sites are legitimate. There are so-called phishing sites that deceive users into serving their interests. This paper dealt with this problem using machine learning algorithms in addition to employing a novel dataset that related to phishing detection, which contains 5000 legitimate web-pages and 5000 phishing ones. In order to obtain the best results, various machine learning algorithms were tested. Then J48, Random forest, and Multilayer perceptron were chosen. Different feature selection tools were employed to the dataset in order to improve the efficiency of the models. The best result of the experiment achieved by utilizing 20 features out of 48 features and applying it to Random forest algorithm. The accuracy was 98.11%.</text>

<text>This paper proposes a PhotoStory: mobile-based application to record the transformation of buildings, including the condition of the buildings and the surrounding environment, whether caused by natural disasters or other factors. There are still limited systems available for people to see the changes in historical buildings. Some existing applications only focus on collecting photos, but the photos are not timeline-organized. This research aims to design a mobile application system that can separately group the building photos sent by users through a geotagging-based mobile application and then visualize it on a timeline-view layout. Grouped photos will make it easier for users to see and trace the context of the building. Based on the usability tests that have been done, the system obtained a value of 87,27%, with the Efficiency parameter getting the highest value among other usability parameters, which was 94%. The obtain shows that the system has been designed successfully. As a result, users feel satisfied and become more familiar with historical buildings. Furthermore, using a timeline-view layout proves that it can provide good effectiveness to users in understanding the transformation of buildings.</text>

<text>Currently, with the booming of New Media, it is not uncommon to see causes and campaigns meant to raise awareness on certain issues.  One of the all-time viral campaigns was ‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’ campaign videos performed by well-known celebrities. In relation to causes and campaigns, on the 1st of October, our attention is drawn towards the Pink Ribbon Day – known as the International Breast Cancer Awareness Day.  Not only that, there is currently an attention-getting Cancer Awareness campaign in many social media – Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) Campaign – which has drawn the attention of those whose lives have been touched by the various devastating Cancer illnesses.  This paper discusses and analyzes the SU2C campaigns in relation to its reliance on celebrity endorsement in achieving its purposes.  The case of SU2C is analyzed within the framework of Circuit of Culturetoanalyze how the public relations theory and Celebrity Humanitarianism may inform the various practices of public relations in the world.  Not only that, through the reflections in the Circuit of Culture, the paper also elaborates the possibilities of how the analysis of the SU2C campaign can be used to influence other cancer awareness campaigns, particularly in Indonesia. Keywords: New Media, Campaign, Circuit of Culture, Celebrity Humanitarianism</text>

<text>This article examines the role of citizens in the process of building and managing city brands. A multidisciplinary approach is applied to explain the multifaceted nature of territorial brands and citizen involvement. To this end, theoretical concepts from marketing and corporate branding, public management, and human geography are applied. By conceptualising place branding as a public policy and a governance process, and drawing from the concept of participatory place branding, the author discusses a variety of methods and instruments used to involve citizens. Special attention is given to the importance of modern technologies for effective citizen involvement.</text>
