As a result of German interests in implementing Europe-wide austerity policies, and the weak and seemingly ineffective centrist leadership under Hollande, significant changes seem almost inevitable. </text>

<text>The objective of this article is to provide awareness into the process of rainwater harvesting so as to make people proactive in conserving fast depleting water resources through this technique, which has been used in India from time immemorial, but is now forgotten behind the insignia of modernisation. The article highlights the benefits of rainwater harvesting such as: provision of an economical water conservation measure, reduction of the burden on other sources of water, provision for agriculture when there is no rainfall, alternative and cleaner source of drinking water, prevention of top soil erosion, reduction of the possibility of floods, improved plant growth, greater responsiveness of water provision, and connection of water supply to natural water cycle. It also gives information regarding the rainwater harvesting practices in some countries abroad for further comparison and research into those practices by those who feel interested. Details of different techniques of rainwater harvesting are furnished so as to inculcate interest in the process. Calculation of rainwater harvesting potential is also discussed for estimating the possible benefits. How far India has moved in this direction is briefed for those who would want to bring about changes connected to their micro set up or policy making at macro level. The article is an endeavour to give a factual picture of rainwater harvesting in India, with the hope that it would inspire more popular implementation of this futuristic source of water conservation.</text>

<text>Reliability analysis is essential to reduce the structural system failures to an acceptance level. In this paper, a quasi-Monte Carlo Simulation method called ‘Random Polar Sampling Technique' (RPST) has been described for the reliability analysis of ring stiffened shell structure, in which the combinations of variates are obtained using a polar sampling of Latin hypercube sampled values. An efficient computer program coded in C++ has been developed for use with the RPST. Reliability analysis of internally ring stiffened submarine pressure hull has been described as an illustration and the results are compared with those given by First Order Second Moment method (FOSM), Advanced First Order Second Moment method (AFOSM) and Monte-Carlo Simulation methods. Keywords: Random Polar Sampling Technique, Reliability, Ring stiffened shells, Submarine pressure hull, Latin Hypercube Samples. The test results show that [1] Raspberry Pi can be used to control RCWS to move towards elevation and azimuth angles when determining the target determined via a web browser, where the voltage generated by the GPIO pin is in a low condition of 0.5mV whilein high conditions it is equal to 3,282V.

<text>Colombia is now projecting a new, positive image to the world after overcoming a past characterised by politically inspired guerrilla warfare and violent conflict with narco-trafficking cartels which had ravaged the country for decades. Even before the country’s transformation, other intermediate place institutions – cities and regions – had already taken significant steps towards territorial change and marketing. This paper outlines the processes involved in urban and social transformation in the city of Medellín and in the marketing of the coffee region, as illustrative cases of city re-branding and regional branding, respectively.</text>

<text>This paper focuses on processes of political integration for immigrants in the Italian context, constituting as it does an understudied topic. It does so by looking at one specific community, Albanian immigrants, who have been typically heavily stigmatized. While Albanian immigration in Italy has been a focus of previous research, no consideration so far has been given to naturalization and its influence on other political processes at the level of immigrants’ daily lives. Through the meanings which participants of this research attribute to citizenship and their acting as political agents, the paper unpacks the relations between this "status passage" (Glaser and Strauss 1971) and the political integration of immigrants. The findings show a very complex picture in which multiple factors and interactions play an important role. Legally speaking, Italian citizenship is a pre-condition for immigrants to enjoy the right to vote in elections at all levels, which participants considered a significant indicator of their political integration. Therefore, the political integration of immigrants is heavily conditioned by naturalization, which gives access to political rights, voice and representation as regulated at the state level. However, when considering the role of age and social capital in processes of political integration, there is also reason to believe that the political mobilization and participation of the youngest and most well-educated participants is not as exclusively attached to such formal recognition as a political subject.

<text>According to the OpenType standard, variable font is a single font file which contains all style versions of one typeface family, as opposed to standard font families that use different files for each style version. Therefore, they are suitable for use on web because one file with all the necessary typeface styles is significantly smaller in size than classic families with multiple files. This shortens the font loading time, which enables wide range of typographical use on various devices. This paper investigates the readability of handwritten variable fonts in a responsible web environment on four screen sizes: extra small, small, medium, and large. Seven letter cuts were made from basic monoline handwritten font: thin, ultra-light, light, regular, semi-bold, bold, and ultra-bold. This paper presents model of readability evaluation using the fuzzy logic based postprocessing method for segmentation values related to evaluation criteria. Linguistic variable’s values are used to rate readability level against each of the criteria i.e., attributes. Prototype of a variable handwritten fonts are tested in responsive web environment, using CSS technology. The results show that readability evaluation has measurable output because the score combine various numeral factors affecting the readability of particular letter cut. Also, the results indicate that this type of font is not suitable for displays on extra small and medium screens such as mobile phones and tablets. That knowledge opens advanced possibilities to designers when designing for web because variable handwritten fonts are relatively simple, uniform and easily manageable. Using of proposed model in short time can show readability level of some font type on a new web.</text>

<text>The use of information technology in education is inevitable by the increasing utilization of gadgets and the internet. The emergence of generation Z has driven the need for transformation in learning process, including in Higher Education area. Learning programming is important and fundamental for informatics students. Numerous endeavors have been executed to achieve satisfactory results that is absorption of graduates within the society and industry. However, there are still many efforts that must be done to meet the high need for informatics graduates who are experts in programming. Ubiquitous learning (u-learning) is a mean for learning anywhere, anytime and through anything that aims to provide the right information at the right time and place to accommodate a lifestyle by utilizing technology. In order to harmonize the current generation Z learning styles, u-learning is considered suitable to comply with their style. This research is a descriptive study design to describe the current situation as a basis for finding facts. The results showed that the students' perceptions showed that the support of the u-learning environment could support them in improving programming learning outcomes and u-learning could be applied in programming learning.</text>

<text>Fairy tales have always been captivating for young readers. Since most of the fairy tales have their source in oral folktales, they highlight traditional gender roles and create stereotypes. As Maria Nikolajeva (2003) states, fairy tales reflect its own time and society. Evolution in readership has led to a change in these reflections. “Rapunzel” is one of the most iconic fairy tale characters and she is known for her long golden hair. Hair carries symbolic implications and is often associated with femininity, and exhibits how societal control influences how she/he wears their hair. By the transformation of her hair in the adaptations, the authors depict a change in the traditional gender roles. Rapunzel’s Revenge by Shannon and Dean Hale will be read as a counter-narrative to Grimm‟s “Rapunzel” to investigate the changes in the fairy tale genre and enable a reading of the changing hair symbolism in order to understand the change in gender roles and identity.</text>
