The author uses sources from various Islamist organizations and analyses these materials within the framework of modern insurgency.                 <text>Existing approaches to performance evaluation for environmental government programs require improvement. In the Russian context, the obstacles to objective evaluation include: target indicators for state programs are not set according to SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) criteria; the importance of budget efficiency indicators for investment decision-making is underestimated; and, some approaches to ex post evaluation of government programs are oversimplified. Specific recommendations are given that would allow improvement of the methodology for ex ante appraisal and ex-post evaluation of environmental programs. A flowchart is developed to guide decision-making on whether to terminate or continue the program on the basis of its overall evaluation rating, which is calculated using a modified Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART), and the degree of conformity between actual and planned volume of financing. The flowchart represents a formalized procedure for the adjustment of the program implementation period and schedules for the achievement of target values for individual indicators; review of target indicator values; funding amounts and schedules; and change of management. A case study of two Russian environmental programs, Pure Water and Water Industry Development, is used to test the approaches recommended by the author.

                <text>Films on Indian themes made by western filmmakers have often been ridden with stereotypes and clichés. The wave of Raj films that came out of British and American production companies in the years since India‟s independence have largely been nostalgia-driven, and they almost invariably end up exoticising the region. However, with regard to films made by the nonHollywood film company named Merchant-Ivory Productions, audiences had come to expect more sophisticated and nuanced treatments of themes drawn from Indian history. This paper examines one of their films, The Deceivers, which deals with the twin themes of Thuggee and Sati. The discussion of the film is set against the broader context of the literature and cinema spawned by Western interest in the Raj era. While it is certainly more aesthetically sophisticated than the Hollywood type of Raj films, The Deceivers nevertheless falls short of engaging with the complexities of 19th century India in any meaningful way and is especially blind to the tendency of colonial propaganda to criminalise entire ethnic groups. Such attempts at cross-cultural representation are nevertheless valuable from a pedagogic point of view in the specific context of postcolonial approaches in the humanities classrooms in our colleges.</text>

                <text>This article aims to explore pedagogic spaces in autonomous institutions and the identities they enable. It situates this exploration in the undergraduate General English classrooms and works with the uses of differing printed-literary and audio-visual media. It also attempts to show how both writing as text and film as text have equal value in undergraduate classrooms. Films, it is proposed, can be more than supplementary/ complementary texts to the much more conventional written-printed ones. They can and ought to occupy an equally privileged position in the teaching-learning process because they provide possibilities for critical understanding and engagement inside the classroom space. It is also argued that films have serious academic and learning potential than is often presumed to be. The article employs for its analysis reports of reception of films within a pedagogic space from student-respondents. In the process of the analysis, the article seeks to construe how classrooms become pedagogic spaces for identity constructions. By way of conclusion, the article comments on the various ways in which films as texts shape critical thinking and self-critique.</text>

                <text>Walking is one of the most common modes of terrestrial locomotion for humans. Walking is essential for humans to perform most kinds of daily activities. When a person walks, there is a pattern in it, and it is known as gait. Gait analysis is used in sports and healthcare. We can analyze this gait in different ways, like using video captured by the surveillance cameras or depth image cameras in the lab environment. It also can be recognized by wearable sensors. e.g., accelerometer, force sensors, gyroscope, flexible goniometer, magneto resistive sensors, electromagnetic tracking system, force sensors, and electromyography (EMG). Analysis through these sensors required a lab condition, or users must wear these sensors. For detecting abnormality in gait action of a human, we need to incorporate the sensors separately. We can know about one's health condition by abnormal human gait after detecting it. Understanding a regular gait vs. abnormal gait may give insights to the health condition of the subject using the smart wearable technologies. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a way to analyze abnormal human gait through smartphone sensors. Though smart devices like smartphones and smartwatches are used by most of the person nowadays. So, we can track down their gait using sensors of these intelligent wearable devices. In this study, we used twenty-three (N=23) people to record their walking activities. Among them fourteen people have normal gait actions, and nine people were facing difficulties with their walking due to their illness. To do the stratification of the gait of the subjects, we have adopted five machine learning algorithms with addition a deep learning algorithm. The advantages of the traditional classification are analyzed and compared among themselves. After rigorous performance analysis we found support vector machine (SVM) showing 96% accuracy, highest among the tradition classifiers. 70%, 84%, and 95% accuracy is obtained by the logistic regression, Naïve Bayes, and k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) classifiers, respectively. As per the state-of-the art, deep learning classifiers has been proven to outperform the traditional classifiers in similar binary classification problems. We have considered the scenario and applied the 2D convolutional neural network (2D-CNN) classification algorithm, which outperformed the other algorithms showing accuracy of 98%. The model can be optimized and can be integrated with the other sensors to be utilized in the mobile wearable devices.</text>

                <text>We present the results which arise from the development of the Virtual Teachers’ Toolbox (VTT-Box) project. The main aim of the project was to develop a virtual web-based service for teachers (toolbox) to support them best with a sophisticated tool to use the pedagogical framework based on an innovative learner-centered approach, including a quality enhancement framework.The project was designed for students and teachers of the 4th grade of the Obligatory Secondary Education (4th ESO) and Bachillerato, and was focused on the students’ needs with the aim of increasing their motivation and learning success. The development and practical implementation of an innovative motivating self-evaluation tool for students called Self-evaluation Mandala was included. The Mandala is an easy to handle graphic tool which defines learning results based on competences, evaluates students success, motivates them and makes them aware  of the improvement achieved throughout their learning process, increasing motivation and academic success.This work analyses the results of the development of the project with the students of the 4th ESO and Bachillerato (n=227), and the opinions of the teachers who implemented the project at the Costa Adeje International School. Moreover, the effect of the training with the Mandala self-evaluation tool was evaluated by teachers in training of the University of La Laguna (n=25). The evaluation made by the teachers in training and the students invites to keep working on the development of training events like the one carried out at the VTT-Box project. The dissemination of the project entailed a global training experience that has allowed the enhancement not only of participant teachers and students, but also of teachers from several countries, including teachers in training of the University of La Laguna.</text>

                <text>Mobile phones are more than just telephonic devices; they have the capability to store,&amp;nbsp;retrieve and access potentially endless meta-data, including the personal information&amp;nbsp;of an individual and his or her associates. In a landmark decision of 2014, the United&amp;nbsp;States Supreme Court unanimously deemed unconstitutional the warrantless search&amp;nbsp;and seizure of the digital contents of a mobile phone during an arrest. Five years on,&amp;nbsp;in Queensland, the warrantless search by the police of a detained person’s mobile&amp;nbsp;phone can be considered standard investigative procedure. This article examines the&amp;nbsp;legitimacy of existing Queensland police powers to conduct a physical search of a&amp;nbsp;detained person’s mobile phone. The core argument advanced is that, on a spectrum&amp;nbsp;of property capable of being searched, a mobile phone should be considered more akin&amp;nbsp;to a person’s private home than their handbag or wallet. The article highlights the&amp;nbsp;hazards of police searches of mobile phones that are conducted in the absence of an&amp;nbsp;adequate framework of legal control and judicial oversight, and it recommends&amp;nbsp;greater legal safeguards to govern existing police powers to search mobile phones.</text>

                <text>Despite the shifting ideologies of gender of the seventeenth century, the arrival of the first actresses caused deep social anxiety: theatre gave women a voice to air grievances and to contest, through their own bodies, traditional gender roles. This paper studies two of the best-known actresses, Nell Gwyn and Anne Bracegirdle, and the different public personae they created to negotiate their presence in this all—male world. In spite of their differing strategies, both women gained fame and profit in the male—dominated theatrical marketplace, confirming them as the ultimate “gender benders,” who appropriated the male role of family’s supporter and bread-winner.</text>
