<text>This article aims to analyze the current socio-economic situation of the Khmer minority in Vietnam and to present the evolution of the Vietnamese government’s policy towards this ethnic group since the period of division to present days. In order to realize this goal, the following research questions were asked: 1) What is the status of the Khmer community in Vietnam regarding social and economic level?; 2) Has the Khmer minority developed a sense of a strong, separate identity?; 3) What is the policy of the Vietnamese authorities towards the Khmercommunity? The analysis aims to verify the hypothesis that declarations of the Vietnamese government regarding the implementation of a policy respecting cultural diversity, improving living conditions and material situation of the Khmer people are not fulfilled. There are still many neglected spheres, and the Khmer people suffer discrimination, maintaining a strong sense of national identity by cultivating Khmer traditions and customs.</text>

Nadal pozostaje wiele zaniedbanych sfer, a Khmerzy doznają dyskryminacji, zachowując silne poczucie tożsamości narodowej poprzez kultywowanie khmerskiej tradycji i obyczajów.</text>

<text>The aim of this article is to present the perception of the homosexual minority in Singapore, to summarize its history dating back to the presence of the British Empire in the Southeast Asia and to describe the current situation regarding the rights of the LGBT community. Legal changes related to the acceptance of people belonging to sexual minorities will be shown.
The work consists of section on the past of the city-state and its legal code and describes the attempts by activists to influence the Singaporean government until November 2022, when sexual relations between men were decriminalized.
The work demonstrates that the homosexual minority still faces problems in the legal aspect, however, thanks to the activists and the increase in social awareness, it is gradually increasing the level of acceptance of homosexuality in Singapore.</text>

<text>W artykule przedstawiono sposób postrzegania mniejszości homoseksualnej w Singapurze. Sięgnięto do historii obecności Imperium Brytyjskiego w Azji Południowo-Wschodniej oraz opisano obecną sytuację dotyczącą praw społeczności LGBT. Ukazano przemiany prawne związane z akceptacją osób należących do mniejszości seksualnych.

<text>In the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, the clash in the Galwan Valley (June 15, 2020) between the Chinese and Indian troops, that killed twenty Indian soldiers, is undoubtedly a watershed moment in India-China relations. While both the Asian giants seek to avoid war, India and China have sharpened the political rhetoric; meanwhile, troops from both sides continue to be amassed along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The process of disengagement of troops and de-escalation of tensions have worked, albeit limitedly. Furthermore, the growing support of China to Taliban controlled Afghanistan (August 2021), will impact the course of Sino-India relations. The current stand-off betweenIndia and China marks the beginning of a new phase of relations where its repercussions will be felt in their immediate periphery and beyond. This article focuses on the strategic options for India. The transgression of China across the LAC will continue to cast its shadow over the relations between the two Asian giants. The earlier “spirit” and “connect” between the two nations stand broken and mending the same will test the institutions and leadership of both the countries.</text>

<text>From its inception, the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) has struggled to reconcile its relatively small capabilities with its large responsibilities. This paper argues that significant reforms need to be carried out in order to improve the overall capacity of the TNI-AL and build Indonesian naval power. The Global Maritime Fulcrum vision provides this opportunity, however, it must be sustained by the political leadership in the long term as developing naval power does not happen overnight. To that end, this paper discusses four chief problems that the TNI-AL continues to face today, namely (1) a lack of a comprehensive maritime outlook, (2) stringent budgetary conditions, (3) a continental-oriented command and control structure, and (4) “turf wars” between related agencies in the government. This paper also briefly contrasts and compares Indonesia’s experience with China’s experience with naval development under Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping. Although both countries are arguably different from one another in one way or the other, this exercise serves to highlight three lessons that may be applicable for Indonesia in managing its naval development and understanding the complexity in building its naval power. These lessons include (1) a need for strong and sustained political will in developing naval power and (2) having a clear strategic objective for naval development, and (3) a significant amount of resources are required to build naval power.</text>

<text> Available literature on the role of small states in international relations has focused on the international system’s impact on the maneuverability of small states. The influence of domestic politics in determining the foreign policy goals of small states seems to have lacked enough deliberations. Identifying this research gap, this article aims to analyze the foreign policy behavior of small states, including Fiji and Nepal. More precisely, this write-up argues that the small states' behavior cannot be adequately comprehended if it is only assessed from the system level of analysis, as their behavior is not only influenced by external factors or the international system. This research sheds light on how domestic factors play an important role in shaping the foreign policy of small states. In this regard, the prime objective of the paper is to examine how the domestic events of 2006 in Fiji and Nepal influenced their post-2006 foreign policy agendas. The 2006 Military Coup in Fiji and the Second People’s Movement of 2006 in Nepal are examined here to appraise how foreign policy was devised and formulated to address the issues that arose out of these events, thus allowing the two countries to remain functional in the international society of states.</text>

<text>Smart Application is one that can be used to learn swimming for students in sports education. This study aims to reveal and explain the usability of smart swimming applications to explore factors influencing students' swimming learning outcomes in sports education. Data of this study were 300 sports education students that took swimming courses. Statistical analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis with the help of the software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16. Overall, the factors of learning motivation, physical activity, nutritional status, and V02Max have an F-table value of 105.605 > 2.25, while R2 is valued at 58.9%. The results of the t-test revealed that all those factors affecting swimming learning outcomes, with the t-count value are more significant than the t-table at a significance level less than 0.05, which is 0.000. Furthermore, all factors are interrelated and needed to each other to produce good quality student swimming learning outcomes. Therefore, adequate attention and good management are necessary for lecturers in teaching swimming materials to improve students learning quality in sports education.</text>

<text>The common problem that is mostly found in urban area and the organizations service numbers of people such as government places, university, department store, and hospital, is the insufficient car parking. This problem is the result of the continuing increasing number of vehicle. Further, the car parking management is insufficient so the service users waste their time and fuel trying to look for the available parking. The objective of this research was to develop mobile application for smart car parking using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and Internet of Thing (IoT) which can detect the available parking lot so it is time saving for people. Moreover, the parking area management is more efficient as it minimizes the limitation of traditional system which the users have to access web application which is unable to automatically alert when the parking lot status has changed. Further, the data can be applied to the management and planning such as analyzing numbers of vehicle daily to compare with the parking lot if it is sufficient or not in order to improve and provide more parking space appropriately.</text>

<text>Consumerism has constantly been growing, and visiting marketplaces and purchasing is a key development factor for the economic development of a city. The spending habits of people are a reflector of many development indices. As people go out for purchasing in malls for shopping essential items, they often tend to find long queues at the billing counter, and the queues are more longer during weekends and during sale seasons. This has been deterring people from going out shopping and instead resort to online shopping. This has affected the sales and revenue of departmental chains. Also, people spend quite a considerable amount of time searching through rows in order to find the items of their choice. Proposing a solution to these above-mentioned problems using technology is a real boon. Installing a payment option on the cart itself would result in cutting down the waiting times in queues. Moreover, the customers can also benefit from navigation through the virtual maps that would be displayed on the screens of the carts. This reduces the time wasted by customers in searching for products. Hence the customers are self-dependent during their shopping. For the retail group, their transactions and management are truly simplified with these developments. Additionally, the counter labor will decrease if not cease to zero, which in turn reduces the labor cost drastically. In times of pandemic like now, people have been sticking with online shopping due to various reasons, but they long to go out and spend time in the malls as they would in normal times. The proposed solution would definitely assist in the normalization of lives and bring back on-ground retail back to life.</text>

The attacks on women are increasing daily in Indian countries. If the woman is not carrying a mobile phone or device, she cannot contact the police station or other family members. This proposed method will help the women identify the exact location and inform the police station in such a scenario.
