Understanding scientific and mathematics concepts is necessary to develop the logical or abstract reasoning. Most commonly used, the PISA test is a basis in the scientific and mathematics education. In this research, it measures the logical reasoning with the test of logical reasoning and the reading speed and comprehension have been measured by a science PISA test. The students are 109 years old studying to be kindergarten teachers. They use Socrative and their smartphones in order to answer the questions. The results show that the logical reasoning is in the lowest level, the concrete level. The older students have better results than the younger students and there is a correlation between the reading speed and logical reasoning.</text>

<text>This paper tries to identify the major components of Albert Camus' literary philosophy by putting him in a historical, political and cutural context. Seeing him as the product of post-war human crisis, an attempt is made to see the organic affiliations that he had made in a political and cultural spheres. Approaching from the alienation point of view it moves on to other sequential concepts like the Absurd and Revolt which form the essential components of his literary philosophy. comparisons are made with the alienation of vacanagaras of 12th century India, a case in which social alienation turned into spiritual alienation due to inevitable political reasons.
Camus travels through alienation to reach his final destination of a moralist and pacifist which have afforded him a permanent place in world literature and culture.</text>

<text>Tribes or adivasis are considered to be the parasites of the forests, thinking that they cannot exist without depending on the forest resource. But the trend has changed after the relocation of the tribes from forest to the periphery of the forest areas. Their way of living, language, food habits, occupation, leisure and entertainment, socio-cultural setup everything has changed drastically. The study exposes both in park and outside the park tribal settlements, to show the differences in their living conditions, socio-economic activities, leisure activities among men and women of these hadis. The study mainly focuses on the Jenu Kuruba tribe who is more in number in and around the National Park than the other tribes, like the Betta Kuruba and Yerava. Under India Eco-development Project the inpark 54 hadi tribes (1568 families), are being relocated (250 families already relocated), gradually. This has brought in major impact on the tribes who are inside the park. The inpark hadi tribes are also exposed to other places like Coorg, as wage earners in coffee estates. Thus the exposure to other places for livelihood purpose and the rehabilitation programmes has changed the traditional tribes to modernisation.
Key words: Nagarahole National Park, Hadi, Tribes, Leisure, Jenu Kuruba, Ashram School, and Social aspect.</text>

<text>This study was performed as part of pre-testing the Social Competence Model for enhancing social competence of adolescents through Life Skills, developed as part of the UGC Major Project. The Social Competence Model focuses on five domains of social competence viz. self concept, pro-social behaviour, goal orientation, resilience, and rational thinking. The intervention was conducted among 37 students selected from a government school of which 34 students completed the 18 hours intervention programme. Paired sample t- test of pre and post test scores revealed significant changes in all domains of the social competence model viz. self concept, goal orientation, pro-social behaviour, resilience and rational thinking. Significant changes were observed in all the sub domains of pro-social behaviour viz. empathy, communication, assertiveness and cooperation (p<0.05). Correlation revealed consistent positive change among all the participants in the domains of self concept, communication skills and problem solving skills. The study thus confirmed the efficacy of the Social Competence Model for enhancing the social competence of adolescents.</text>

Highly under-represented in state machinery, media, and all higher wage employments, they are highly over-represented in low wage, highly labour intensive, and hazardous jobs. For them, facing exploitation and discrimination, not only by the state and the employers but also by their fellow workers, is a constant reality. The social, cultural, economic, and political systems in India are built to operate in such a way as to produce and reproduce the social divisions continuously and aggravate the problems of divisions among the labourers. The labour movements, which are supposed to oppose this unjust system, have generally ignored the issue of representation of dalits and women as they operate as part and parcel of the same social system that produces and reproduces ascriptive divisiveness.</text>

<text>Social marketing would improve overall health, boost awareness, and cause be-havioral changes. Web 2.0 technologies have revolutionized the way people con-nect and communicate all around the world. This paper is the first paper to pre-sent the effect of a social marketing campaign, undertaken by the Egyptian gov-ernment, in addressing parental behavior. The nature of this work is exploratory, following a qualitative approach. This study adopted the case study research method. The authors collected data in two consecutive phases: 1) In-depth inter-views were held with social marketing experts who are in charge of this cam-paign 2) In-depth interviews were conducted with parents that marketers consider to be from their target audience because they have children who fall in the target’s age range. The study assesses the response of parents to this social marketing campaign and serves as a foundation for further research and discussion on social marketing discipline.</text>

<text>The track assumes that the use of social media is widespread and can advance theprofessional and public need to understand or engage with the law. Is this apresumption that underpins the context of the ‘developing’ world? PacLII is the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute. Its work started in the mid 90’s and it became a LII in 2003. In the 15 years of its activity, PacLII has begun to host legal material from 20 jurisdictions with common and civil law backgrounds. All could be labelled ‘developing countries’. PacLII’s work covers a vast geographic area and is hostage to the tyrannies of literal distance. PacLII’s work has been underpinned by great strides in the spread of internet access and a growing commitment to free access to online legal information. Yet we do not use social media. Is PacLII exhibiting Luddite tendencies in our thinking – are we missing out on a new revolution in communication? Perhaps the audience can challenge our presumptions on the ineffectiveness of social media. We therefore seek to ask the following questions in the hope of stimulating discussion of whether and how social media could promote a further commitment to online legal information in the developing world: ? How would we use it and to what end? ? What would be the challenge / benefit ratio to our users? ? How does it improve upon other communication tools such as newsletters and emails?</text>

<text>Social media have become a standard in contemporary communication. That is especially true for business which jumped at the opportunity to connect with current and prospective customers allowing them to integrate with their favourite brands and products even further. This trend, however, seems to be absent in the public domain. Local authorities notice social media but attempt to use it in a one-to-many format, which is incompatible with the interactive nature of the new medium. Cities can strongly benefit from an active presence in the social sphere as it opens new paths to co-governance and better communication.</text>
