<text>one of the most important motivations behind the use of software-defined networking (SDN) is the desire to move from the approach of traditional networks to a more flexible and intelligent software development technology. This paper focuses on the importance of the SDN-based platform POX controller security firewall modules and its effectiveness on networks including the central administration of the SDN-based platform controller for protecting the network from possible attacks. The work is performed using the Mininet emulator with the aid of iperf bandwidth measurement tool. Result reveals that the proposed multi-layer firewall does not compromise the flexibility of the network in any way.</text>

The pedagogical assessment of the prototype application that uses a recognition-based interface e.g., images and videos, gave evidence that the mobile application is memorable and learnable. <text>Abstract— There is a remarkable growing interest in utilizing mobile communications to enhance the interactions between different partners in educational institutions, particularly in schools. However, how communicating with parents via applications while aren't actively running is quite a challenging demand. On the other hand, the addressed success of the Android supporting features provided a good candidate to support applications with real time information. Moreover the Android platforms supports efficiently customizable notifications, which allow applications based on Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) to specify the pushed events. In this paper, we look at different push messaging alternatives available for Android. Push messaging provides an important aspect of server to device communication, and we specifically focus on the integration of cloud computing with mobile devices through the use of push-based technologies. The paper presents a proposed notification system; ToParent, that actively provide alerts and messaging between parents and schools. Also, we investigate the performance of two relevant push technologies for the Android devices .The proposed system was implemented using Eclipse. The system has been tested and validated. Evaluation have proven that the proposed ToParent enabled better efficiency, and good overall satisfaction of both parties; parents and school administrations.</text>

<text>Abstract - Electrical energy is a human daily need that cannot be separated, even the need for electrical energy has increased every year. This is evident from the construction of renewable energy plants in areas with potential. In this thesis, a control and monitoring system for a vertical turbine wind power plant prototype will be made using the internet based on IoT (Internet of Things) technology. Where the IoT technology here, the author uses the Thingspeak and Blynk applications which are used to monitor the electrical energy output from the wind power plant (PLTB) and the output from the 220V inverter. The purpose of using IOT technology is to make it easier to monitor and control the voltage, current and output power of wind power plants from anywhere and anytime via the internet. For the manufacture of this tool in need of a voltage sensor, current sensor, relay, LCD and NodeMCU. The voltage sensor uses PZEM 004T which functions to read the value of voltage, current, cos phi and frequency, relay1 serves to limit the output voltage from the dynamo generator and relay2 to limit the output voltage to 220V in case of equipment problems, NodeMCU functions to process data read from the sensor, this NodeMCU already equipped with a WIFI module that functions to send data to an internet server so that it can be controlled and monitored anywhere and anytime. The results of the tests carried out measurements for 2 hours on the load of the iron, fan, television, 1 phase AC motor, soldering iron, dispenser, laptop charger, incandescent lamp, and refrigerator using the 004T PZEM sensor resulted in an error of 0.28% - 0.3%.</text>

The prototype of this garbage collection robot vessel is controlled by an Android smartphone application that is connected via Bluetooth. The prototype of the robot of the boat was made to deal with piles of garbage that can cause flooding. The method used in making the prototype ship robot along with the controller application begins with identifying the problem, namely the problem of piles of garbage, then needs analysis. Moreover, in this research, what will be developed is in terms of design, ship robot prototype, and ship robot controller design. Next is implementation and testing. The prototype of the garbage collection ship robot uses an Arduino nano microcontroller and in making a controller application using Android Basic 4. Then the trial stage was carried out on an Android smartphone. The results of this study are a prototype ship robot that can move according to commands through a controller application.</text>

<text>Water is a source of much-needed living things such as daily needs and transportation routes, and also as a source of energy. Water is also essential as a water quality factor. Good water for treating cold-water ornamental fish with temperatures below 20o Celcius has a maximum water turbidity value of 10 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit); if the turbidity level is above 10 NTU, the water will be declared cloudy and affect fish health. The object of this research is ornamental aquarium fish with the type of goldfish. The research method used is qualitative. The research flow begins with observing the problem, then designing and simulating the Arduino Uno as a place to process the measuring data. The prototype of this tool aims to show changes in the level of turbidity of water from the value of water turbidity. This prototype uses the fuzzy method to assist the testing process. This study's results for five days showed that 1 out of 5 tests indicated that the aquarium water was cloudy, namely on the fifth day. The results of this study are expected to be implemented in a prototype for measuring water turbidity using the fuzzy method using a microcontroller. The design of this water turbidity measuring instrument is expected to estimate the turbidity of water or liquid correctly, precisely, accurately, with a small error rate, and notify warnings for replacing ornamental fish aquarium water.</text>

<text>Protecting and concealing sensitive data in the modern world is challenging. Due to insufficient protection and privacy, it is feasible for critical information to be fabricated. This led to a significant financial loss for someone. The intended recipient must be trusted with sensitive information and be able to independently authenticate the accuracy of the information by independently checking the specifics. There are several driving the rise in QR codes used for information transmission. Due to their enormous capacity for storing information, QR codes are vital for dissemination. However, most currently deployed QR code solutions employ insecure data formats and never employ encryption. Secure QR Code is data protection and data concealing available technology. The Quick Response (QR) code is widely used and accessible without extensive technical training. Now, the user data stored in a QR code is effectively public knowledge and occasionally even illegally used. To address the abovementioned issues, this study's authors propose a novel QR code encryption system. Using the image's mathematical processing method, we may apply the equivalence class principle to the ordered equations of the two-dimensional code, producing the desired cryptographic result. This method exploits the unique visual properties of the QR code. Only a QR code reader can decode the code's useful information, which is too complex for standard reading methods. It will be utilised to address issues in speedy business client data protection Security, commodity anticounterfeiting, and bicycle sharing QR codes.</text>

<text>A revolution of information technology through big data for data processing is greatly affecting organisations around the globe, specifically the education providers. Subsequently, there are increasing needs and demands for software, digitalisation, and processing power development for unlimited database development and applications. The study aims to determine how well-prepared UTMSPACE is in meeting the new data management planning requirement for developing the big data management application. This study is supplementary to the development of strategic management planning in digitalisation and data management. The study employs qualitative method for its exploratory and data processing application research. The findings will help to identify the weaknesses and strengths in preparing data management applications to achieve strategic management plan outcomes. The study suggests that the company must increase awareness on the importance of big-data management through data processing engines that provide a more organised and centralised data and information management. In addition, the results also share the type of data and information needed for prioritising the organisational strategies in implementing the lifelong learning programmes across different environments and sectors.</text>

This study aims to determine students' scientific reasoning abilities in light matter. The method in this research was the descriptive method by using the survey technique. The instrument used is a description test consisting of 8 items of light matter. This test was conducted on 201 students from the eighth-grade junior high school in Banjarmasin selected at random. The RASCH model is used as a processing stage of data from raw data into logit numbers that provide information related to infit, outfit and unidimensionality using a winstep program to achieve this goal, this study investigated the quality of items from Item and person measure, Item Bias, item and person reliability, and variable map. The findings show that the scientific reasoning ability of the eighth-grade students can be at a low level. So researchers should strive to improve students' scientific reasoning abilities in future research.</text>
