<text>For students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), vocabulary mastery is an essential component of language skills. Vocabulary may contribute to the success of language skills. However, most students had some trouble learning vocabulary. Vocabulary learning requires an advanced technology such as online game. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the outcome of using an online game named SpellingCity to enrich vocabulary, which is a part of modern gamification. The research design is to have 22 students finish one turn game of SpellingCity and then fill out a survey and interview at the end of the data collection process. The result was that all students agree that using SpellingCity increase their vocabulary acquisition besides of also learning the pronunciation. SpellingCity simple interface design is also found to be one of the factors why SpellingCity considered interesting and easy to play by these students.</text>

<text>What is in common for the majority of young people? Mobile phone.
In epoch of rapid development of information technologies the time came in which only few people do not have mobiles, especially among young people in high schools. Researches which we made in our school say that this percentage (rate) is really high 99,23% at this moment. The educational institutions should use this opportunity. In aim to improve the success of students the mobile service is developed, which will be described in this work.
This is first result which provides a cognitive tool which is supporting the independent learning by applying mobile phones with wireless communication technology to extend learning outside of the classroom in Serbia.
The service was developed during times when we didnâ??t know anything about how much and in which way m-learning was being used in the world.</text>

<text>This article aims to determine if the European Commission was successfulin the securitization of the Russian South Stream pipeline. The Commissiontried to convince the participating Member States to abandon the SouthStream project in favor of the competing Nabucco pipeline. The discursiveanalysis showed that all the participating countries accepted the security ofsupplies as a referent object. Nevertheless, they did not accept certainmeasures advocated by the Commission, i.e. a supranational approach toenergy security and amendments of the intergovernmental agreementsconcluded with Russia. Instead, the participating Member States were usingtheir alternative discourses in order to resist this securitization. TheEuropean Commission was able to stop the South Stream project onlythrough a direct, non-discursive intervention against Bulgaria, which, afterthe start of the infringement procedure, suspended its participation in theproject. The other participating countries accepted this intervention, yetthey did not support it.</text>

<text>Social media networks are fundamentally changing the way we socialize, communicate, and perhaps the way students learn. This paper explored the patterns of pre-service teachers’ adoption and their perceived usefulness of social media. The participants were 388 pre-service teachers from one tertiary institution in Nigeria. The social constructivist theory, the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Technology Acceptance Model were used to underpin the study. The result revealed that Facebook and WhatsApp were the most common social media applications used by the participants and they use the media chiefly for socialising. With respect to the time they spent on social media daily, 310 (80%) spent at least one hour on social media on average daily while 196 (50%) spent over two hours on average every day. The relationships between social media subscriptions, and perceived usefulness of social media for socialising and for communication, were found to be positive and statistically significant. Similarly, the relationships between the time spent on social media and perceived usefulness of social media for socialising and also for study were found to be positive and statistically significant. The results suggest that the pre-service teachers are adopters of social media and perceive the media useful not only for social activities but also for academic purposes. However, they have not really adopted the social media for academic purposes. The research findings make a compelling case for the incorporation of social media into the teaching and learning context.</text>

The results are obtained for velocity, temperature, concentration. The effects of various material parameters are discussed on flow variables and presented by graphs.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3329/jname.v11i2.6477</text>

<text>This paper examines the development of copyright in Nigeria by looking at the different legal regimes that have existed within Nigeria’s copyright system. It provides an historical perspective of the development of Copyright law in Nigeria by tracing the introduction of the first indigenous copyright law in Nigeria and the current copyright legislation into the Nigerian legal system. The paper highlights the issues with the first indigenous copyright legislation, discusses some of the provisions of the Act, and the subsidiary legislations that have been issued. It also examines the role of the Nigerian Copyright Commission as the agency saddled with the responsibility of administering Nigeria’s Copyright Laws. The paper concludes with thoughts on the future for copyright in Nigeria.</text>

<text>The article provides a reconstructed biography of an outstanding Roman, M. V. Maximianus who became famous for his many heroic deeds in the period of the so-called Marcomannic wars. The reconstruction is undertaken on the basis of two sources of major importance, both of them inscriptions. The first of them was discovered in today’s Slovak town of Trenčin, the other in Zana in Algieria. Significantly, their content is mutually enriching and complementary. A pretext for the discussion was the conversation with the Jubilarian on the authenticity of the character of Maximus created by Russel Crowe in the film “Gladiator”, contrasted in the article with the historical figure of Maximianus.</text>
