<text>Communication mediated by mobile devices is one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy and is transforming different aspects of our lives, including our ways of relating and our cultural production, distribution and consumption models. Media studies should not ignore these transformations. This paper presents the results of a study carried out during 2008 to determine the actors, contents produced and trends of the mobile communication companies in Barcelona. The study outlines an initial map of the situation, proposes a series of analysis categories and lays the foundations for more specific future studies on mCommunication.</text>

<text>Advances in technology have allowed mobile devices to be used for learning purpose. The use of tablets in mobile learning has the potential to enhance learning, contributing to increased motivation and knowledge acquisition. However, without careful planning and support for learning content, students may not have the behavioural intention to use tablets in their learning. Previous studies have focused on the use of learning applications installed in the tablets. There is a lack of research on students' behavioural intentions to use tablets in learning. The partial least squares regression approach and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) were used in this study to explore students’ behavioural intention to use the tablet in learning. This study was conducted in a private school in Malaysia. A total of 170 participants were enrolled in this study. The results showed that most of the hypotheses of the study were not supported and further revealed that the construct of performance expectancy was the only determinant of students’ behavioural intentions to use the tablet in learning.</text>

<text>The objective of National Service Scheme (NSS) is toincrease levels of social consciousness by getting studentsinvolved in activities that address individual andcommunity needs. Although there is an incentive, by wayof additional marks that students obtain for 120 hours ofwork, NSS offers opportunities for personal growth, andcharacter development through community service.Participation in NSS activities has instilled in many, thedesire to bring about social change. The present studyexplores the following questions: What motivates NSSparticipation? What are the goals that are accomplishedand motives that are fulfilled through NSS participation?Would involving students in designing, planning andimplementing NSS related activities have greatermotivational and other benefits? What are the benefits oflinking NSS activities and academics? Would studentlearning be enhanced? Would there be a betterassimilation of concepts studied? Would NSSparticipation provide the base for experiential learningthat can be related to concepts discussed in theclassroom? Answers to the questions raised above haveimplications for adapting or extending NSS along thelines of service learning. The integration of experientialeducation or a practical/applied dimension to theoreticalissues addressed in the classroom, would not merelyincrease interest and understanding but also makestudents independent learners, and when applied to the community related issues, help to sensitize and motivatethem to contribute to the common good.</text>

Nonlinear ODEs are gotten from overseeing nonlinear PDEs by utilizing good comparability changes. The amounts related with building angles, for example, skin grating, Nusselt number and Sherwood number alongside different effects of material factors on the speed, temperature, and focus, are explained and explained with outlines. The numerical consequences of the current investigation are acquired through the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg strategy alongside shooting procedure and in constraining sense are diminished to the distributed outcomes for precision reason.

<text>The current study's objective examines contemporary advancements in learning utilizing digital technology for educational purposes during the recent pandemic outbreak. The study analysed the challenges, capabilities, and resilience of these digital learning environments and the future of digital learning. The PRISM statement is used to select records and assess the final 37 studies for the current investigation. According to the findings, the COVID-19 pandemic posed a significant challenge to educational institutions, and online learning was a challenging work for students and teachers. The availability of a large number of digital learning platforms, on the other hand, considerably mitigates the problem. Students' and teachers' skills and capacities have grown as a result of the learning process utilising digital platforms. The current study's findings show that education in the post-COVID-19 era is heavily reliant on digital sources, and that new technologies greatly enhance the learning process.</text>

<text>The focus of this study lies in the instrumental use of history as a tool forthe legitimization of political claims. Our paper is related to the SlovakNational Uprising, which plays a crucial role in the national mythology ofSlovakia. This role is a reason why the annual celebrations of this historicalevent are one of the most important political occasions in the country. Many politicians use the celebrations as an opportunity to highlight manypolitical issues and address a broad audience. Using semi-participantobservation, we analysed five anniversary celebrations of the event (2015–2019) and the securitization strategies inherited in the speeches ofpoliticians at the celebrations. We showed that not only topics related to thelegacy of the anti-fascist uprising (e.g. contemporary right-wing extremism)are securitized or serve as objects of the creation of moral panic duringthese events. Some other, unrelated actors/phenomena are securitized orlabelled as a threat as well – especially immigration and the politics of theEU. This fact notwithstanding, the legacy of the SNU was always used forthe legitimization of securitization/creation of moral panic.</text>

<text>Smart industry systems are based on integrating historical and current data from sensors with physical and digital systems to control product states. For example, Digital Twin (DT) system predicts the future state of physical assets using live simulation and controls the current state through real-time feedback. These systems rely on the ability to process big data stream to provide real-time responses. For, example it is estimated that one autonomous vehicle (AV) could produce 30 terabytes of data per day. AV will not be on the road before using an effective way to managing its big data and solve latency challenges. Cloud computing failed in the latency challenge, while Fog computing addresses it by moving parts of the computations from the Cloud to the edge of the network near the asset to reduce the latency. This work studies the challenges in data stream processing for DT in a fog environment. The challenges include fog architecture, the necessity of loosely-coupling design, the used virtual machine versus container, the stateful versus stateless operations, the stream processing tools, and live migration between fog nodes. The work also proposes a fog computing architecture and provides a vision of the prerequisites to meet the challenges.</text>

<text>This article aims to explore the depiction of China by mainstream Spanish media during the COVID-19 pandemic. 105 articles were collected from El Mundo, El País, La Vanguardia, ABC and El Periódico, and analyzed by topic: domestic information diffusion and epidemic prevention measures in China, Chinese aid in Spain, and opinions about them. The main finding is that China’s image portrayed by these newspapers changed from draconian and Machiavellian, given the country’s massive strict quarantine and censorship, to villainous, due to cover-up of epidemic information and governance failures that Spanish media condemned in retrospect, and then to opportunist, to a helper of use but not genuine, after China started to aid Spain while taking advantage of the inaction of the Occident. However, the Spaniards’ acceptance of these media-portrayed images varies: despite intense criticismsof governance failures and censorship characterized by the authoritarian system, Spaniards only consider “the virus from China” as an important threat, instead of the expansion of Chinese ideologies. The opportunist depiction was accepted by a considerable proportion of Spaniards, thinking China had gained economically from the pandemic and even improved its global reputation.Aid from ethnic Chinese in Spain, from private firms in China and from the Chinese Government were positively felt. Besides, the fact that Spanish citizens increasingly blamed their Government for incompetence might also explain why there was limited damage to China’s image.</text>
