<text>This paper presents a new algorithm in an important research field which is the semantic word similarity estimation. A new feature-based algorithm is proposed for measuring the word semantic similarity for the Arabic language. It is a highly systematic language where its words exhibit elegant and rigorous logic. The score of sematic similarity between two Arabic words is calculated as a function of their common and total taxonomical features. An Arabic knowledge source is employed for extracting the taxonomical features as a set of all concepts that subsumed the concepts containing the compared words. The previously developed Arabic word benchmark datasets are used for optimizing and evaluating the proposed algorithm. In this paper, the performance of the new feature-based algorithm is compared against the performance of seven ontology-based algorithms adapted to Arabic. The results of the evaluation and comparison experiments show that the new proposed algorithm outperforms the adapted word similarity algorithms on the Arabic word benchmark dataset. The proposed algorithm will be included in the AWN-similarity which is free open-source software for Arabic.</text>

<text>Many colleges employ online learning as media learning where each piece of multimedia, be it sound, film, or text, can receive feedback from students. The lecture wants to know about the emotions that students experienced when they accessed the media, such as happiness, disappointment, or unhappiness, and instructors want to know how joyful they felt. This study built a tool cell for online media to use in identifying emotions in column comments. This paper focuses on user experience (UX) design, which is based on the Human-Centred Design method that prioritizes empathy for users and focuses on user demands to meet the discovery of user wants and develop high-fidelity prototypes. The results of the testing show that the average accuracy is 1.68%, the average recall is 1.55, the average precision is 1.45, and the average accuracy for the use of this phone website is 80% for emotion recognition based only on a column of comment in the internet media.</text>

<text>For fifth generation (5G) lower band wireless application at a frequency of (4.5–5.5) GHz, recently ASEAN region countries have suggested 5G forums and band rejection antennas for 5G (4.5–5.5) GHz lower band. A UWB antenna has been constructed and suggested by use of the Roger RT5880 with defected ground on a rectangular radiating patch and a ring shape type of resonator (RSR) on ground plane to achieve the desired performance. It was decided to construct a band rejection within UWB antenna for 5G which included adding a rectangular slot on the radiating patch as well as placing RSR to the ground plane of the proposed antenna. The results support the theory that the antenna is capable of transmitting and receiving in the UWB except band notched bandwidth. Additionally, the results show that the antenna possesses good performance across the whole UWB spectrum with a gain of 4.6 dBi. This, in addition to its ability to support the lower 5G band notched, is why the suggested antenna is a good contender for future 5G wireless implementations within UWB bandwidth.</text>

<text>Learning a second language is not an easy task. Learners need to have enough support in terms of learning materials in order to be successful in mastering the language. One of the common problems faced by the second language learners is the difficulty to find the learning materials to develop their speaking skills. This is in contrast to the materials for the development of other language skills, such as reading and writing which are easily accessible from bookstores and resource centers. This paper introduces an innovative application named Virtual Speaking Buddy (VirSbud) which is specially designed to help second language learners develop their speaking skills. It is hoped that this application will be a useful resource to improve the standard of speaking skills among English language learners.</text>

<text>Recruitment is an important aspect of human resource management at a university, particularly at Makassar State University. Selection is a step in the recruitment process that determines whether prospective students who apply are a good fit for the program of study. The advancement of information systems facilitates the recruitment registration process. The decision support system is present to assist decision-makers in receiving appropriate recommendations for prospective teacher students who have been selected. This study employs the MAUT method's development, which is carried out in stages, hence the Multi-Level MAUT. Because assessment metrics are classified, we combine several MAUT methods to reach a final decision. The algorithm used produces good results, namely the ability to rank correctly based on stakeholder preferences.</text>

<text>The daily functioning of civilization depends heavily on transportation. In most cities, a sizable section of the working class consistently attends both employment and education. There are many different things you can do when commuting, such as unwinding, eating out, and other things. The most popular means of transportation in North Cyprus, particularly in developing cities, is island transportation, which includes the usage of both private cars and commercial vehicles. The advent of edge computing, which offers the opportunity to connect potent processing servers next to the mobile device, is a significant step toward improving user experience and reducing resource use. Mobile Edge Computing is the next trustworthy approach for how mobile devices consume communications and computing. Offloading computation is a key component developing mobile edge computing, which enables devices to get around clustering techniques' limitations and get around computing, storage, and energy constraints. However, computation offloading is not always the best strategy to use; making choosing unloading is a critical step that requires consideration of numerous factors. For instance, shifting the high-resource node to an edge server and granting similar capabilities to the low-resource nodes would delegate heavy duties to the external unit inside the network. The evaluations' results were noteworthy and substantial. Problems involving the vehicles of institutions and organizations can be resolved using the suggested solution to the school bus routing issue. We also test the impact of network latency on the delivery of a particular result using an Edge Computing simulator.</text>

<text>Cloud computing technology is known as a distributed computing network, which consists of a large number of servers connected via the internet. This technology involves many worthwhile resources, such as applications, services, and large database storage. Users have the ability to access cloud services and resources through web services. Cloud computing provides a considerable number of benefits, such as effective virtualized resources, cost efficiency, self-service access, flexibility, and scalability. However, many security issues are present in cloud computing environment. One of the most common security challenges in the cloud computing environment is the trojan horses. Trojan horses can disrupt cloud computing services and damage the resources, applications, or virtual machines in the cloud structure. Trojan horse attacks are dangerous, complicated and very difficult to be detected. In this research, eight machine learning classifiers for trojan horse detection in a cloud-based environment have been investigated. The accuracy of the cloud trojan horses detection rate has been investigated using dynamic analysis, Cukoo sandbox, and the Weka data mining tool. Based on the conducted experiments, the SMO and Multilayer Perceptron have been found to be the best classifiers for trojan horse detection in a cloud-based environment. Although SMO and Multilayer Perceptron have achieved the highest accuracy rate of 95.86%, Multilayer Perceptron has outperformed SMO in term of Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) area.</text>
