<text>There was a change in the implementation of education policies in the emergency period of the spread of the covid-19 virus, the learning process was carried out from home online using various learning resources. This condition triggers the emergence of behavioural problems and student competence in Indonesia. One of the distance learning media that was carried out during the pandemic was using the Learning Management System (LMS). Not only that, a policy evaluation needs to be carried out to evaluate the distance learning system that has been implemented in universities. This is because technology-based distance learning requires a different approach in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation. To increase the effectiveness of learning can use the assessment for learning (AfL) model. The learning process is also expected to be in accordance with learning that directs to have a computational thinking approach which is much needed considering that problem-solving skills are needed in solving everyday problems. Based on the results of data analysis with the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), a learning management system based on assessment for learning to improve computational thinking abilities got an average score of 85.2, which means it can be implemented well.</text>

<text>In this paper, the effect of slip on Micropolar fluid in a circular tube of non-uniform cross-section with multiple stenosis have been studied. The coupled equations governing to the flow are calculated by using Homotopy Perturbation Method. The effects of various parameters with heights of the stenosis on the resistance to the flow and wall shear stress have been studied by deriving the expressions for the flow characteristics and their solutions have been obtained. It is found that the resistance to the flow increases with the heights of the stenosis, inclination, Thermophoresis parameter, local temperature Grashof number, local nanoparticle Grashof number, inclination and permeability constant and decreases with Brownian motion parameter. It is found that the shear stress at the wall increases with heights of the stenosis, Brownian motion parameter but decreases with local nanoparticle Grashof number, Thermophoresis parameter and permeability constant. Also, it is observed that the volume of the bolus increases with the increase of permeability constant.</text>

<text>Thermal radiation effects on hydromagnetic free convection flow past an impulsively started vertical plate with variable surface temperature and concentration is analyzed, by taking into account the heat due to viscous dissipation. The governing boundary layer equations of the flow field are solved by an implicit finite difference method of Crank-Nicholson type. A parametric study is performed to illustrate the influence of radiation parameter, magnetic parameter, Grashof number, Prandtl number, Eckert number on the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles. Also, the local and average skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are presented graphically. The numerical results reveal that an increase in thermal radiation reduces both the velocity and temperature in the boundary layer and a rise in viscous dissipation accelerates the flow. Key words: Thermal radiation, MHD, viscous dissipation, vertical plate. <text>In terms of cultivating lettuce using hydroponic media there are several things that mustbe considered such as pH levels, water temperature and sufficient light requirements.Manually checking is done so badly by the farmer that it takes a lot of time, therefore an automation system is needed in this case to overcome routine checks. This system is an alternative to modern control systems to optimize the control of pH levels, water temperature of Arduino-based lettuce plants, and the addition of a 40 watt LED lamp, pH measurement using the SEN0161 pH sensor, for measuring water temperature using the Ds18b20 sensor. Control of pH and water temperature is carried out automatically, using a peltier as a coolant and a selenoid valve as a dropping liquid pH until it reaches the required value, i.e., a pH level of 6.0-7.0, a water temperature <27 ° C and a 40 watt LED lamp as an addition to light intake in plants The stability of water temperature and pH levels that are always maintained by this tool can save time for farmers in routine checking of pH and water temperature, this tool also produces better growth of lettuce compared to the usual method.

<text>The development of food and beverage products increases over the years. The high level of food consumption led to the presence of new food and beverage brands produced in Salatiga. In accordance with this fact, Organoleptic Tests or in other words evaluation of food products could be conducted well if the obtained dataset had a complete, rapid, and accurate information. The required information could be clarified into the dataset that was used to calculate the testing. Manually calculating the process was a problem that usually appeared. As a result, losing or having a broken report on the organoleptic test often occurred. Mileage of the research setting became another problem that appeared when the research conducted out of the town, Salatiga. A combination of R&D method and application of algorithm was implemented in this research by using the performed stages. These stages started from the identification of problems to the testing of the systems. During the process of organoleptic testing, Weka 3.8.2 was used as a tool to test the C4.5 algorithm and an implementation of the applied algorithm on the android. The results of this study revealed that the average classification accuracy of the J48 algorithm in Weka could achieve above 90% accuracy and average score of hedonic scaling system was in “agree” category. It also showed that the algorithm and the testing of the systems which implemented on android has a credible performance in classifying data.</text>

<text>State and non-state actor play crucial roles in solving the conflict within country. On June 2011 through mandate that was given by General Assembly, the 66/811 report was released by United Nations Secretary General on titled “Strengthening the Role of Mediation in the Peaceful Settlement of Disputes, Conflict Prevention and Resolution”. One of fundamental points is the need of inclusiveness in conflict resolution by inviting the non-state actor. Later, the report convinces us on the importance of innovation within mediation by utilizing all actors, whether state or non-state actors. Although, every actor have different capabilities and resources, empowering those actors in dispute settlement process might be the right option. Besides, mediation in which third party involved has to be able to understand nature of the conflict on the ground. Thus, help achieving effective peace process. This writing elaborate the nature conflict and mediation and on how non-state actor play its role through mediation that happened in Rwanda and Aceh (Indonesia).</text>

<text>The present study investigates the difference effect of problem solving model with or without game-based learning (GBL) on lower and higher achievers’. Ninety-one students of grade eight (M = 13.9; SD = 0,5 year) from Indonesia were randomly allocated to participated in the study. Data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative methods. Two test were used in this study, one for assessing prior knowladge, and the other for the post-testing. Posttes was composed of two measuring both numeric (procedural and arithmatical accuracy) and reasoning (applied problems in geometry). Results indicated that students who were exposed to the game-based learning within problem solving (PS+GBL) significantly outperformed their counterparts who were exposed on the basis of textbook within problem solving (PS+TB). The positive effects of PS+GBL were observed on both tests of numeracy and applied problems in geometry. In addition, the findings show the positive effects of PS+GBL method on lower and higher achievers.</text>

<text>This paper proposes using the methodological perspective of critical federalism, constructed by merging the theoretical framework of critical political economy with the analytical approach of co-operative federalism, to understand the harmonisation and operation of employment policy within the EU. By choosing to not actively integrate employment policy, the ad hoc approach pursued by the member - states has led to a sharing of competency between the member - states and the EU that mimics the relationship found between central and regional governments in a federal system. In the first section, this paper outlines how the emphasis on national competence has shaped the integration of national employment policies into a nascent federal system. In the second section, this paper constructs the methodological perspective of critical federalism and in the final section, this paper concludes by identifying the federal characteristics of the current operation of European employment policy.

<text>In late 2011, Canada’s Conservative government banned face coverings for those taking oath at citizenship ceremonies. The ban was unequivocally interpreted by the press to be targeting veil-wearing Muslim women. This paper analyzes newspaper coverage in the month following the announcement of the policy. It argues that most commentators conceptualized citizenship to be a neoliberal tool of rescuing veiled Muslim women from their male oppressors and making them more like the equal/neoliberal “us” and/or as a reward for those who already are or will become equal/neoliberal. Most non-Muslim commentators constructed gender oppression as the reason for which veiled women should (not) become citizens. Gender equality in Canada was represented as a key national value and inequality was erased or minimized and presented as a Muslim problem. In attempting to deflect these arguments, most Muslim commentators silenced gender inequality among Muslims by arguing that veiled Muslim women choose the practice and by relegating gender oppression to Western societies, thereby constructing veiled Muslim women as ideal neoliberal subjects worthy of Canadian citizenship.

<text>Changes in security environment after the end of Cold War and 9/11 have strongly affected our security concepts and paradigms. In the field of counter-terrorism, a serious conceptual and practical debate on the relationship between security and human rights and freedoms has begun. The goal of this paper is to reflect on this complex relationship at the conceptual level and introduce the empirical debate on this relationship in the field of civil aviation (case of introducing body scanners). The paper’s results show that the concept of human security usefully integrates the care for human rights and security of individuals. The debate on the potential introduction of body scanners on the European airports was actually a debate on the ways of providing individual human security on the airports with simultaneous concern for other human rights. The output of this debate was a compromise: body scanners can be used at the discretion of individual airports and member states, but are not an obligatory measure on all European airports.</text>
