<text>In Indonesia, educational technology courses have been offered in teacher preparation programs to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skill of utilizing technology in skill-based language teaching. Despite this, empirical studies focused on online training for EFL teacher candidates on using digital tools appropriately for pedagogical purposes and adjusting to traditional learning processes remain unexplored. Therefore, to address this gap, the present study attempts to investigate the design and implementation of a TPACK-in practice model to enhance students’ preparedness to face the rapidly-growing digital world and, more importantly, understand post-pandemic pedagogy. For this purpose, a qualitative case study was adopted. The data were obtained from multiple sources, including field notes, video-recorded classroom observation, one-on-one online interviews, and task documentation. The population of this research included 163 students in the 5th semester of the English Language Education Study Program of a university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We selected one class randomly, consisting of 40 pre-service English teachers during the odd semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Findings demonstrate: 1) lesson activity-specific model in the educational technology course, 2) students’ reports on their hands-on learning experiences in designing teaching-learning activities with a variety of digital tools, 3) the perceived benefits of reviewing ed-tech apps, and 4) challenges encountered by students in completing their project. Finally, pedagogical implications are presented with proposed suggestions offered for future research directions in replicating the study.</text>

<text>The main aim of this study is to verify whether the current internationalmonetary system shows a transposition into a multipolar monetaryarrangement. The study is aimed at analysing the prospects of three keycurrencies (the American dollar, the Euro, the Chinese renminbi) in thecontext of their transposition to a multipolar monetary system. For thesecurrencies, the values of monetary concentration and those of the potentialof monetary internationalization were analysed. We used a new approachfor assessing the measurement potential of currency internationalization:the fuzzy-logic model. This approach includes economic and politicalfactors. The prospects of the selected currencies are examined in this studyin the context of the great economic lockdown. The conclusions confirm theexistence of a trend of transposition into a multipolar monetaryarrangement.</text>

<text>At a broad level of generality, the orthodox approach to interpreting contracts, trusts, wills, security documents, company constitutions and so forth is the same: a search for the objective meaning to be attributed to the author or authors of the instrument (the ‘uniform hermeneutic thesis’). This article has two primary objectives. The first is to respond to a common criticism of this uniform objective approach. The criticism is that, as each species of legal obligation is different, different rules of interpretation should apply when the given legal context changes. For example, why not ask the settlor of an inter vivos trust what she meant to say when an interpretational dispute arises? The second reason is to demonstrate that the explanations most commonly given in defence of an objective approach to interpretation, namely to promote legal certainty and economic efficiency, fail to capture the essential reason why the objective approach permeates the general law. The thesis put forward in this article is that an objective theory of interpretation is a justifiable aspect of private law because language (being a form of communication) does not operate unilaterally, but rather requires stable and dependable shared conventions. This argument is supported by the further claim that, where the author of a legal instrument utilises these publicly recognised conventions in order to affect her or his legal relations with others, she or he ought to be bound by those conventions. One cannot have the benefit of ‘conventions for me but not for thee’.</text>

<text>An educational, interactive Amazon Alexa Skill called “Österreich und Europa Spiel / Austria and Europe Game” was developed at Graz University of Technology for a German as well as English speaking audience. This Skills intent is to assist learning geographic facts about Austria as well as Europe by interaction via voice controls with the device. The main research question was if an educational, interactive speech assistant application could be made in a way such that both under-age and full age subjects would be able to use it, enjoy the Game Based Learning experience overall and be assisted learning about the Geography of Austria and Europe. The Amazon Alexa Skill was tested for the first time in a class with 16 students at lower secondary school level. Two further tests were done with a total of five adult participants. After the tests the participants opinion was determined via a questionnaire. The evaluation of the tests suggests that the game indeed gives an additional motivational factor in learning Geography.</text>

The conventional method that is being enforced has shown to be vulnerable, inaccurate and time-consuming especially in a large classroom. It is difficult to identify absentees and proxy attendees based on the conventional attendance marking method. In order to overcome the challenges faced in the conventional method, a web-based mobile attendance system with facial recognition feature is proposed. It incorporated the existing mobile devices with a camera and the face recognition system to allow the attendance system to be used in classrooms automatically and efficiently with minor implementation requirements. The system prototype received positive responses from the volunteers who tested the system to replace the conventional attendance marking.</text>

<text>The purpose of the current study was to develop an effective scale that can be used to assess the severity level of Mathematics Anxiety (MA) among students. Generally, measures for assessing MA adopt primitive questionnaires and unweighted rating-scale based approaches which are predominantly intended for a particular range of students. As a consequence, this type of approach is inherently static and not effective to be used widely. To bridge this gap, considering the view of 839 students, the present study has proposed a Weighted Scoring Based Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale (WSB-MARS) which represents a more reliable, valid, generalized, and new approach to assess the severity level of mathematics anxiety in students. Besides, the proposed scale can be implemented as a mobile application that is applicable to the research & education field.</text>

Furthermore, ZigBee's communication capabilities i.e., Tree, Star, and mesh networking were developed on the internet or Internet of Thing using RaspBerryPi 4 as the Internet Gateway. The sensors used e.g., Pulse sensor and temperature and Humidity Sensor. Moreover, the Spectrum Analyzer is used to measure the Radio Frequency Value (-dBm) per Channel (CH1 to CH12) on the Zigbee module (EDs and CN) communication at different distances,on the Mesh or Tree ZigBee Communication, ZR can be used, at Point to Point ZigBee, the role of ZR is neglected. Energy efficiency battery ZigBee sensor nodes need to be considered to obtain sensor nodes Long Life, moreover, RSSI (-dBm) is the key to the analysis of sensor node communication systems on different sensor node clustering, including Throughput, PacketLoss sensor data, and data analysis on Application Server.</text>
