<text>This research aims to study the influence of logarithmic and exponential functions on the multi-criteria decision-making algorithm that changes the linear to the nonlinear method. It is carried out to better understand the multi-criteria decision-making (TOPSIS) algorithm whereby these functions may influence the criteria weights during the selection of the best network. The experiment is applied under different network types to evaluate the most optimum network that leads to better throughput, low latency, minimum BER, and low price per MB. The algorithms are assessed in MATLAB simulation environments. In addition, the adoption of the Wi-Fi networks standard is determined by factors such as bandwidth, signal to noise ratio and the channel modulation technique during the decision-making process. The simulation results showed that the exponential function had produced approximately similar results to that of linear TOPSIS algorithm because both keep the weights to demonstrate positive values. However, logarithmic TOPSIS produced different results and a worst-case scenario, as the weights have negative values which lead to a phase shift of 180⁰ during the decision process. Thus, linear TOPSIS was found to have the best results while logarithmic TOPSIS had the worst outcome.</text>

<text>According to some perspectives, it is difficult to imagine the collective West developing further relations with Russia beyond the regulatory and systemic – rather than the social – so long as their political systems remain divergent. At the same time, continued elements of Russian “Europeanness” raise fundamental questions about the future role and pre-eminence of liberal states – including Canada – in the contemporary international order, seeing as the Western-led liberal order appears to have failed to become synonymous with global order itself. As such, Russia remains a good case study for probing the extent to which a future world order must root itself in a monist frame in today's pluralistic world. This paper will seek to explore this question from a perspective rooted in the English School of international relations, with the aim of deriving conclusions regarding the liberal international order's ability to maintain its hegemonic position in global international society.</text>

<text>In late July 2021, we conducted a survey of attitudes to human rights in Queensland, as well as to the new Human Rights Act 2019 (Qld). Our empiric research questions include: what are community attitudes to human rights; how do people perceive the level of respect and protection for human rights in Queensland; how do attitudes differ between certain demographic groups regarding human rights and the enjoyment of those rights in Queensland; how well does the public know the Human Rights Act, and how should human rights be enforced in Queensland? Our overall question addresses how these results may guide recommendations for human right policy moving forward, including the implementation of legislation in a manner that promotes and protects human rights at a community level.</text>

Consequently, its goals and objectives cannot be understood without a preliminary understanding of the purposes and objectives put forward by the training system a part of which it forms. The issue of identifying this purpose as a person being a cognitive activity subject or a person being a bearer of a certain number of skills requires clarification. The digital learning concept will always contain a positive ("correct") or negative ("incorrect") answer to this question in the "default" status, as prescribed by the training system. And it will serve as an auxiliary tool only in promoting (and approving) different concepts of human capacity as a "correct" one.</text>

<text>This article examines Judith Butler’s concepts of vulnerability andgrievability in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and biopowerpractices introduced in the name of the protection of the people. Ananalysis of the elite political discourse in Czechia, Germany, Great Britain, and Slovakia in the first three months of the pandemic explores howvulnerability was constructed and distributed among the respectivepopulations. We identified two prevailing discursive frames – science andsecurity. Within the first, vulnerability was constructed in terms of biologicalcharacteristics, rendering elderly, disabled, and chronically ill bodies asalready lost and ungrievable. Within the security frame, Roma or migrantpopulations’ vulnerability to the virus has been discursively shifted intobeing seen as a threat, while vulnerability itself was recognized more as afeature of institutions or society. Thus, despite the claims that ‘we are all inthis together’, the pandemic has exposed how our vulnerability andinterdependency are embedded within existing social structures.</text>

<text>Fiduciaries who breach their obligations by making a profit may apply to the courts for an allowance for the work and skill that generated the profit, but it is unclear whether a court will indulge the application if the fiduciary’s breach was tainted with dishonesty. There are two different approaches available to the courts when faced with a dishonest fiduciary applying for an allowance. Courts that choose the first approach will rely on Boardman v Phipps and award an allowance that reflects the fiduciary’s conduct. Courts that follow the second approach will ignore the fiduciary’s dishonesty by relying on Warman International Ltd v Dwyer, and will award an allowance to prevent the principal’s unjust enrichment. The availability of the two different approaches has resulted in inconsistent outcomes and confusion in the law. This article explores the justifications for adopting each of the available approaches whenever a dishonest fiduciary applies for an allowance. Part I outlines the progression of the case law since Boardman v Phipps. Part II describes the rationales for adopting each of the approaches to awarding allowances to dishonest fiduciaries. It concludes that the conduct-based approach in Boardman v Phipps should be rejected, and that the unjust enrichment-based approach provided by Warman International Ltd v Dwyer should be adopted by the courts when awarding allowances to defaulting fiduciaries.</text>

<text>The fifth generation (5G) mobile communication technology though, is being deployed in various parts of the world to improve the wireless systems in terms of infrastructure and quality of services, in view of mobile communication history, the 5G may be unable to handle the deluge mobile network traffic of the future digital society. In general, new wireless technologies are introduced every 10 years, and services mature every 20 years, and therefore sixth generation (6G) mobile communication technologies, which have a great potential to impact on the market, are expected to be commercialized around 2030. In order to secure technological leadership in mobile communication, which is an essential infrastructure for everyday life and industrial sites, advanced countries around the world have begun to develop 6G technology. The expected main features of the 6G technology include: providing 10 to 100 times more performance than 5G, maximizing performance by utilizing the terahertz band which was not utilized by existing communication networks before, use artificial intelligence techniques for smart networking, and combining the previously isolated technologies. This paper provides an overview on the profile, advancements, implications, architecture, expected applications, and challenges of the futuristic 6G wireless communication systems described by innovative researchers and major global organizations.</text>
