E-learning platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Moodle, Google Classroom provides different features that may be helpful during the pandemic. In this research, the number of registered students, the activities held on e-learning platforms before, during, and after the pandemic are compared in Hashemite University as a case study. The analysis shows that the interaction between students and their lecturers has increased by more than 90% across all platforms at the Hashemite University during the pandemic. However, it has increased by 64% with the Moodle platform. The effect of three learning methods; face-to-face, blended, and online learning is examined and the preference of students investigated with courses’ categories such as remedial materials, collage requirements, specialization materials, and free materials. The students preferred online learning for remedial and free materials, with percentage values of 75% and 57%, respectively, but face-to-face learning is chosen for collage requirements and specialization materials, with percentage values of 54% and 78%, respectively.</text>

<text>Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) is a phenomenon whereby an employee brings their own computing devices to work with them and use them in addition to or instead of company-supplied devices. BYOD helps organization to cut cost and improve the utilization of organizational resources. However, the impacts and phenomenon of BYOD is still unknown and scarcely discuss within the body of knowledge; warrant for further exploration of the topic. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop and validate an instrument to measure BYOD and its productivity. The research went through various empirical stages. Based on other studies, a list of predictors and dependent variables was adopted. Based on the variables that have been identified, a pilot instrument was created in the second step. Third, an expert review process was used to validate the instrument. The face validity and reliability investigation of possible respondents was completed. As a result, a reliable instrument with six variables and thirty items was created to measures BYOD and productivity in the context of universities students in Malaysia.</text>

The purpose of this research is to develop a learning media in the form of learning video on primary school topics. Researchers chose polyhedron to be the research subject. This search will use the 4D model and will only focus from the define up to the development stage. While the small-scale try-out and disseminate of the learning video can be done in another research. According to the validation result, the hungry ant video passed the validation and only needed a few revisions. The hungry ant video would be able to help students to visualize the shape of polyhedron, finding the diagonal space, proofing the area and volume formulas. Future research can analyze effect of the hungry ant video towards the students’ critical thinking ability.</text>

<text>The integration of technology in learning is increasingly popular and inevitable, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. In mathematics education, Geogebra has been used as a pedagogical tool in learning mathematics from elementary to university. The present study aims to explore first-year prospective elementary teachers’ experience constructing 3-D shapes using GeoGebra. This study uses a case study method with 40 first-year prospective elementary teachers from an elementary initial teacher training from a public university in Riau, Indonesia. The participants worked in small groups and discussed some 3-D shapes through an online platform, and in the end, each participant reflected their attitudes towards the integration of GeoGebra in learning 3-D shapes. The findings show that prospective elementary teachers discussed six types of 3-D shapes; cube, rectangular prism, rectangular pyramid, cylinder, cone, and spheres. They prefer to discuss curved surfaces rather than flat surfaces of 3-D shapes. In addition, prospective elementary teachers have positive attitudes towards integrating GeoGebra in elementary initial teacher training. They believe that GeoGebra supports them to understand better the concepts of volume and surface area of 3-D shapes, facilitate students to understand the properties of a geometry object, and compare the object one made using hand drawing to using GeoGebra. Meanwhile, difficulty in using the tools to construct 3-D shapes in GeoGebra becomes a hinder to understand mathematics concepts and properties. The implication of this study is that there is a potential to integrate GeoGebra in mathematics learning in elementary teacher training.</text>

<text>This research aims to discover the effect of STEM autonomous learning city map application on the students’ critical thinking skills. The design of the research is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test control groups. The population of the research is the fourth graders of an elementary school with a total of 60 students involved as the research samples. To collect the data, the research instruments used are a test and an interview. The test is to gain the data of the students’ critical thinking skills while the interview is to gain information regarding the students’ experiences with STEM autonomous learning city map. The findings revealed that there is a significant difference of the critical thinking skills between the students of both groups (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed = 0.015, p<0.05). The critical thinking skills of the students in the experiment class were increased by 23.7%. In addition, compared to the students in the control group, those in the experimental group showed a more positive attitude towards their experiences of learning using STEM autonomous city map application. Owing to this, it can be concluded that learning with the STEM autonomous learning city map application can affect students’ critical thinking skills positively.</text>

<text>A finite element method based computational study of steady laminar mixed convection flow inside a vented square cavity with a heat conducting horizontal solid circular cylinder placed at the center of the cavity is carried out in this paper. The developed mathematical model is governed by the coupled equations of continuity, momentum and energy. The present work simulates practical systems such as cooling of electronic devices, ventilation of building etc. The effects of cylinder size and Richardson number on fluid flow and heat transfer performance are investigated. Richardson number is varied from 0.0 to 5.0 and the cylinder diameter is varied from 0.0 to 0.6. The results for the case of without cylinder are compared to those with cylinder to observe the effects cylinder on the flow and heat transfer inside the cavity. The phenomenon inside the cavity for the case of with and without cylinder is analyzed through streamline and isotherm patterns. It is found that the streamlines, isotherms, average Nusselt number at the heated surface, average temperature of the fluid in the cavity and dimensionless temperature at the cylinder center strongly depend on the Richardson number as well as the diameter of the cylinder. Keywords: Mixed convection, finite element method, Richardson number, cylinder diameter, vented cavity and diffusion.DOI: 10.3329/jname.v5i2.2504Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering 5(2)(2008) 37-46</text>

<text>In this paper, the effect of Joule heating on magnetohydrodynamic natural convection flow of viscous incompressible fluid along a uniformly heated vertical wavy surface has been investigated. The governing boundary layer equations with associated boundary conditions for this phenomenon are converted to nondimensional form using a suitable transformation. The equations are mapped into the domain of a vertical flat plate and then solved numerically employing the implicit finite difference method, known as the Keller-box scheme. Effects of pertinent parameters, such as the Joule heating parameter (J), Prandtl number (Pr), magnetic parameter (M) and the amplitude of the wavy surface ? on the surface shear stress in terms of the skin friction coefficient (Cfx), the rate of heat transfer in terms of local Nusselt number (Nux), the streamlines and the isotherms are discussed. A comparison with previously published work is performed and the results show excellent agreement. <text>A numerical analysis has been conducted to show the effects of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and Joule heating on heat transfer phenomenon in a lid driven triangular cavity. The heat transfer fluid (HTF) has been considered as water based hybrid nanofluid composed of equal quantities of Cu and TiO2 nanoparticles. The bottom wall of the cavity is undulated in sinusoidal pattern and cooled isothermally. The left vertical wall of the cavity is heated while the inclined side is insulated. The two dimensional governing partial differential equations of heat transfer and fluid flow with appropriate boundary conditions have been solved by using Galerkin's finite element method built in COMSOL Multyphysics. The effects of Hartmann number, Joule heating, number of undulation and Richardson number on the flow structure and heat transfer characteristics have been studied in details. The values of Prandtl number and solid volume fraction of hybrid nanoparticles have been considered as fixed. Also, the code validation has been shown. The numerical results have been presented in terms of streamlines, isotherms and average Nusselt number of the hybrid nanofluid for different values of governing parameters. The comparison of heat transfer rate by using hybrid nanofluid, Cu-water nanofluid, TiO2 -water nanofluid and clear water has been also shown. Increasing wave number from 0 to 3 enhances the heat transfer rate by 16.89%. The enhanced rate of mean Nusselt number for hybrid nanofluid is found as 4.11% compared to base fluid.</text>

<text>Combined effects of viscous dissipation and temperature dependent thermal conductivity on MHD free convection flow with heat conduction and Joule heating along a vertical flat plate have been described in the present work. The governing boundary layer equations with associated boundary conditions for this phenomenon are converted to non-dimensional form using a suitable transformation. The resulting non-linear partial differential equations are then solved using the implicit finite difference method with Keller-box scheme. The numerical results in terms of the skin friction coefficient, the surface temperature, the velocity and the temperature profiles over the whole boundary layer are shown graphically for different values of the Prandtl number Pr, the magnetic parameter M, the thermal conductivity variation parameter γ, viscous dissipation parameter N and the Joule heating parameter J. Numerical results of the local skin friction co-efficient and the surface temperature profile for different values of N are presented in tabular form. Keywords: Joule heating; MHD; conduction; temperature dependent thermal conductivity; viscous dissipation;natural convection.DOI: 10.3329/jname.v5i2.2648Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering 6(1)(2009) 30-40 </text>
