<text>In this present work the effects of temperature dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity on the coupling of conduction and Joule heating with MHD free convection flow along a semi-infinite vertical flat plate have been analyzed. The governing boundary layer equations with associated boundary conditions for this phenomenon are transformed to non-dimensional form using the appropriate variables. By the help of the implicit finite difference method with Keller–box scheme, the resulting non-linear system of partial differential equation is then solved numerically. The purpose of this paper is to study the skin friction coefficient, the surface temperature, the velocity and the temperature profiles over the whole boundary layer for different values of the Prandtl number Pr, the magnetic parameter M, the thermal conductivity variation parameter, the viscosity variation parameter and the Joule heating parameter J. The results indicate that the flow pattern, temperature field and rate of heat transfer are significantly dependent on the above mentioned parameters. The local skin friction co-efficient and the surface temperature profiles for different values of viscosity variation parameter are compared with previously published works and are found to be in good agreement. Keywords: Viscosity; thermal conductivity; Joule heating; MHD; conduction; free convection.DOI: 10.3329/jname.v6i2.4994</text>

<text>A numerical study is conducted to analyze the effect of Joule heating and MHD (magnetohydrodynamic) free convection flow and heat transfer along a uniformly heated vertical wavy surface with temperature dependent variable viscosity and thermal conductivity. The governing boundary layer equations with associated boundary conditions for phenomenon are converted to non-dimensional form using the appropriate transformations. The resulting nonlinear system of partial differential equations are mapped into the domain of a vertical flat plate and solved numerically by employing implicit finite difference method, known as the Keller-box scheme. The behavior of the fluid in the ranges of Joule heating parameter (0.0–2.0), viscosity parameter (0.0–20.0) and thermal conductivity parameter (0.0 –10.0) are explained in details. It is found that the flow and temperature fields are strongly dependent on the above stated parameters for the ranges considered. The skin friction coefficient and the rate of heat transfer are also presented. The skin friction coefficient and the heat transfer for different values of Prandtl number Pr are compared with previously published work and are found to be in excellent agreement.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3329/jname.v10i2.11707</text>

<text>In the present paper, the effect of magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) on mixed convection flow within a lid-driven triangular cavity has been numerically investigated. The bottom wall of the cavity is considered as heated. Besides, the left and the inclined wall of the triangular cavity are assumed to be cool and adiabatic. The cooled wall of the cavity is moving up in the vertical direction. The developed mathematical model is governed by the coupled equations of continuity, momentum and energy to determine the fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics in the cavity as a function of Rayleigh number, Hartmann number and the cavity aspect ratio. The present numerical procedure adopted in this investigation yields consistent performance over a wide range of parameters Rayleigh number Ra (103-104), Prandtl number Pr (0.7 - 3) and Hartmann number Ha (5 - 50). The numerical results are presented in terms of stream functions, temperature profile and Nussult numbers. It is found that the streamlines, isotherms, average Nusselt number, average fluid bulk temperature and dimensionless temperature in the cavity strongly depend on the Rayleigh number, Hartmann number and Prandtl number.</text>

<text>This development study aims to 1) create a learning model that fuses e-learning, a mobile app, character building, and outdoor study and 2) determine the effectiveness of the EMCO learning model on student learning outcomes. This study uses a research and development design with the model of Dick and Carey. A product feasibility test is performed by the learning, media, and materials expert validators, and the product’s effectiveness is tested by students. The data analysis includes descriptive statistics to determine the product feasibility and an independent sample t-test to determine the effectiveness of the learning model. The results of the expert validation show that the EMCO model is in the very good category and does not need revision. The EMCO model has a learning syntax with four phases: LKPD (student worksheet), assessment instrument, learning media, and teaching materials. Results indicate that the EMCO learning model is effective in improving geography learning outcomes. The model has the advantages of 1) effective and innovative material delivery; 2) easy-to-use navigation keys to access the material; 3) attractive design; 4) availability of CBT (computer-based test); and 5) online learning media that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and under any conditions. The research has a positive impact on students and is able to transform them into 21st-century learning agents.</text>

<text>Abstract— This study aims to develop an Arduino-based Sit Up test measuring instrument and an Ultrasonic sensor with an Android application, with the hope of providing effectiveness and efficiency in calculating Sit Up tests with more accurate calculation results. This type of research is Research and development. Research and development methods are research methods used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of the products. The development of the Sit Up test measuring instrument was first validated by electrical experts and measurement test experts. After that, it was continued with a small group test of 10 people and a large group test of 20 people. The results of the study obtained validity from electrical experts with an assessment percentage of 88.8% or in the "Good/Decent" category and the validity of test and measurement experts with an assessment percentage of 94% or in the "Good/Decent" category. Furthermore, the reliability test results obtained a small group value of 0.995 or in the "Very Strong" category and a large group of 0.996 or in the "Very Strong" category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Arduino-based Sit Up test measuring instrument and the Ultrasonic sensor with the Android application are declared suitable for use for the Sit Up test in producing more accurate calculations.</text>

<text>Nowadays, individuals and organizations are increasingly targeted by phishing attacks, so an accurate phishing detection system is required. Therefore, many phishing detection techniques have been proposed as well as phishing datasets have been collected. In this paper, three datasets have been used to train and test machine learning classifiers. The datasets have been archived by Phish-Tank and UCI Machine Learning Repository. Furthermore, Information Gain algorithm have been used for features reduction and selection purpose. In addition, six machine learning classifiers have been evaluated, namely NaiveBayes, ANN, DecisionStump, KNN, J48 and RandomForest. However, the classifiers have been trained and tested over the three datasets in two stages. The first stage is using all features included in each dataset while the second stage using selected features by IG algorithm. At the first stage RandomForest classifier has shown the best performance over Dataset-1 and Dataset-2, while J48 has shown the best performance over Dataset-3. On the other hand, after features selection, the RandomForest classifier was the superior among the other five classifiers over Dataset-1 and Dataset-2 with accuracy of 98% and 93.66% respectively. While ANN classifier has shown the best performance with accuracy of 88.92% over Dataset-3. Because of the few number of instances as well as features in Dataset-3 comparing to the other two dataset; the performance of the classifiers has been affected.</text>

In this paper, a new technique is proposed to make sure that the new node which asks to join the cloud is not composing a threat on the cloud environment. Our new technique checks the node before it will be guaranteed to join the cloud whether it runs malwares or software that could be used to launch an attack. In this way the cloud will allow only the clean node to join it, eliminating the risk of some types of threats that could be caused by infected nodes.</text>

<text>One of the techniques used in information security is the concealment technique, where the information to be hidden within another information medium to be saved in the process of messaging between two sides without detection. In this paper, an algorithm was proposed to conceal and encrypt data using several means.in order to ensure its preservation from detection and hackers. Wavelet transformer was used to change the shape of a wave of information (one and two-dimensional data) and its different mathematical formulas. Two sets of data were used, the first group used in a hidden process. The second group was considered as a means of both embedding and encryption. The data in the second group is reduced to the extent of sufficient for the modulation process, by extracting its high-value properties and then removing them from the mother's information wave. The process of encrypting of the two sets of data comes together using an exponential function. The result is undetectable information signals. Algorithms were built to hide and encrypt one and two-dimensional data. High-security signals and images were obtained. Decryption algorithms were built to return encrypted data to their original forms, and getting the replica data. </text>

<text>Technology plays a major role in our daily lives. In healthcare, technology assists in treating and detecting diseases and can improve patients’ quality of life. Alzheimer’s disease patients are generally elderly people who suffer from disabilities in vision, hearing, speech, and movement. The disease is one of the most common types of dementia. This paper proposes a design for a mobile application with an adaptive user interface for Alzheimer’s patients based on an elderly model developed using grounded theory. The application aims to improve the patients’ quality of life and allow them to remain engaged in society. The design of the application is based on spaced retrieval therapy (SRT), a method that helps Alzheimer’s patients to recall specific pieces of important information. User-centered design method was used to design and build this application. In the requirements phase, a user model for elderly people was elicited based on a classification developed through grounded theory. The prototype for the proposed model was designed and developed considering the default user interfaces and the adaptive user interfaces. A test was conducted with 15 elderly Arab users. The participants were 50–74 years old with varying levels of education and experience with technology. The authors proposed a user model for elderly people containing all the design implications in terms of physical and cognitive changes. The results of testing with elderly Arab users supported the proposed user model in terms of colors, fonts, pictures, and symbols. However, there were problems with the menu design and color preferences.</text>

<text>The traditional learning process used in schools is outdated. Students nowadays spend most of their time using technologies for entertainment and to communicate with their friends. Technology can also be used to present opportunities in teaching difficult subjects, such as mathematics, in a better environment. This project aims to improve the mathematical skills of addition and subtraction in young children aged 6 to 8 by combining education and entertainment in a simple math learning game. Using ideas from Jerome Bruner’s theory, and Bloom’s Taxonomy of cognitive goals, this application will help children learn and interact effectively with the world around them. This project presents the design and development of a game-based learning application that improves the mathematical skills of young children. Specifically, our target-users for this application are primary school students who are learning addition and subtraction. This paper provides discussion and guidance on how to evaluate the impact of Mathematics Game-Base Learning Application. The overall results of the experimental study indicate a positive effect of Mathematics Game-Base Learning Application on the learning process.</text>
