<text>The main objective of this paper is to study the homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions in magnetohydrodynamic flow due to a nonlinear stretching sheet. Analysis for single wall carbon nanotubes with water and pure blood are taken as the base fluids. The governing non-linear partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary which are solved numerically by utilizing the fourth order Runge-Kutta method with shooting technique. Graphical results have been presented for velocity profile, temperature, concentration, local skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number profiles for various physical parameters of interest. Comparisons with previously published data are performed and the results are found to be excellent agreement.</text>

<text>American and Chinese interests seem to be at one time in agreement and at another at loggerheads over issues that involve armed services, diplomacy, economics, human rights, intelligence, trade and culture. Part of what may appear to be a growing déracinement, or mutual disenchantment, arising from diverse viewpoints over infrastructure development globally but especially in sensitive developing areas such as the stand-off in the South China Sea and elsewhere along the Pacific coastline of Southeast Asia, and the Western Pacific Rim. China seems to be reconstructing its ancient feudal empire, actual or imaginary, in the territory to its South, the ASEAN bloc. This article will address some issues of compatibility and conflict that unite China but that sometimes divide it from the United States and the West, then assesses what alternative strategies should be adopted or abandoned in the interests of global and regional harmony coupled with security. It urges greater cooperation and collaboration, a development of a code of conduct for state behavior in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, together with a concerted East–West effort to maintain a stable economy for China and a sustainable trade relationship between China, Europe, and North America.</text>

<text>The present book reveals and compares the ways in which hierarchies ofpower are created in postcolonial societies. At the same time, it tries todeconstruct these hierarchies, ie to reveal their initial assumptions andconsequences. Thus, it shows that the postcolonial context is still a relevantfactor that co-shapes events in Asian countries. The book specifically focuses on case studies on China, India, Japan, CentralAsia and Madagascar as entities with strong Asian influences. Although thebook is primarily rooted in Asian studies, its approach is interdisciplinary. Inthe analysis, it uses perspectives based on political science andinternational relations, anthropology, media studies or cultural and literarystudies. The key categories for the analysis of hierarchies and theirpractices and discourses are (real and symbolic) boundaries,(intersubjectively formed) identity and (political and social) norms.</text>

<text>Engineering education is an important part of preparing quality graduates for the challenges of the Covid-19 and post-pandemic conditions, and electronics engineering education is no exception. Blended learning-based projects as an alternative to innovative learning at this time. This study aims to explore and explain the application of blended learning-based projects in electronics engineering education courses. The research method used is a project-based product design and development carried out by blended learning. We conduct our project activities in higher education special students from Electronic Engineering Education that take part in the learning of this project. Students who participate are only limited to small groups to avoid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 1 small group consisting of 3-5 people and there is 1 group leader who manages the work, while other members are supportive and help complete joint projects. The results of this study show the ability of students to work by implementing project-based learning in producing products, namely Exhaust Fan products based on Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) as a form of a mini prototype that can be used for small household scale industries. The ability of students to work on product manufacturing by applying the principles of project-based learning in the category already has the ability to, skilled and thoroughly working on the project that was planned until it succeeded in becoming a product prototype which was carried out in project-based blended learning.</text>

<text>In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic is still not over. Thailand is the one that is facing the second wave of new coronavirus. Schools and universities were closed, and faculties need to mostly teach with Online pedagogy, including the graduate students' courses. This study proposes to focus on the Ubiquitous area of the Blended Learning model with IoT-based to solve a problem of graduate students and their advisors by the qualitative focus-group technique. The mobile application draft was synthesized and designed to track and monitor graduate students' research activities on smartphones by built-in sensors. They should stay active along while researching the advisor’s assignments on their smartphone. Non-active periods are implied when several behaviors are detected. Virtualize dashboards are processed to report the total active learning period of students for the advisor's evaluation. Moreover, students can continually monitor their self-efficacy to improve the online learning process. Besides, this study proposes to confirm the model’s quality by twelve experts with the questionnaire. The results show average scores of Propriety, Utility, Feasibility, and Accuracy standard are 4.32, 4.41, 4.37, and 4.21, respectively. Therefore, the Blended Learning model's overall qualities with IoT-based smartphones are extremely high and proper to implement.</text>

<text>What explains the euro adoption strategies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia? How have each of these two countries performed under the regime they joined (Czech Republic: flexible exchange rates; Slovakia: in the euro area)? How has that experience affected Czech and Slovak policies towards euro adoption and their performance during the euro crisis? This paper asks these questions and seeks to give an answer to the question why Slovakia adopted the euro while the Czech Republic did not. We address these questions by taking an eclectic approach that draws on constructivism and symbolism, historical institutionalism and domestic politics. The paper examines five explanations based on these theoretical approaches: the inferiority-superiority factor; European identity and the ‘return’ to Europe; symbolic factor of the currency; euroskepticism; and economic structure and trade relations.

<text>In the decade since Al-Qaeda, led by the late Osama Bin Laden, attacked America, there has been a resurgence in the debate about the relationship between religion and politics. The global Islamic terrorist networks and their successful operations against various targets around the globe increasingly draw attention to what constitutes the core values of Islamic extremism: the logic of evangelistic strategy, the import and relevance of its spiritual message and consideration of the composite view of life that does not distinguish between sacred and temporal mandates. Suspicions have been fuelled that Islam is incompatible with modern democratic systems and pluralist outlooks. The real cause of Islamic militancy is at once universal and particular. The Nigerian experience of this radical Islamism–Boko Haram–brings home the once “distant” threat to global peaceful co-existence. While there exist arguments regarding the raison d’etre and means or methods of the operations of Boko Haram, the end has been normative; to achieve a purely religious nationalistic system on the basis of the sharia code of ethics. This paper, therefore, critically analyses the historical and philosophical interpretations of Islamic history constructed as an infallible corpus, and how it has been impacted by the democratic vision in Nigeria. It concludes with a consideration of the possibility and practicability of a liberal system at once free and religious in a pluralist and global society.</text>

<text>This article explores the development in Bolivia under president Evo Morales, through a critical postcolonial approach. From a traditional liberal perspective, this article concludes that the liberal democratic system under Morales has not been deepening, though certain new participatory aspects of democracy, including socio-economic reforms have been carried out. In contrast, this article analyses to what extent the presidency of Evo Morales may be seen as the end of the postcolonialism, and the beginning of a new era in which Bolivia’s indigenous people finally have been incorporated into the forward development of a multi-ethnic society. By analysing issues such as time, nation, land, space, globalization and language, the conclusion is that the new constitution marks a fresh beginning, one beyond the colonial and postcolonial eras, for indigenous groups, but it will not bring back the old indigenous societies as was dominating the territory of today’s modern state.</text>
