<text>The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operates based on a numerical control program generated semi-automatically by a Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system or manually by the operator. Repeated practice is required to operate a CNC machine. For an inexperienced operator (student), the practicum requires extensive use of materials and cutting instruments. In the meantime, the number of laboratory equipment for the CNC programming practicum remains limited, and the 3-axis CNC milling machine training unit is inadequate for the number of students. For this reason, we need a medium that can simulate the machining process to aid students in their early stages of learning. This research aims to create a mobile application for milling machine visualization based on augmented reality. This augmented reality (AR) application, "MM: CTU 3-Axis," or Machine Milling CNC Training Unit 3-Axis, was designed with 3D virtual objects to provide students with knowledge and practical experience. The application development model used Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This research yields an Android-based augmented reality (AR) application called "MM: CTU 3-Axis" that does not require markers. The development and verification results demonstrated that this application could aid in learning CNC programming and machining practicum, as well as reduce the cost of using cutting tools and the cost of using materials due to repeated experiments on CNC machines.</text>

<text>In the present study, we analyze the heat, momentum and mass (species) transfer in external boundary layer flow of Casson nanofluid past a truncated cone surface with Biot Number effect is studied theoretically. The effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are incorporated in the model in the presence of both heat and nanoparticle mass transfer Biot Number effect. The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) are transformed into highly nonlinear, coupled, multi-degree non-similar partial differential equations consisting of the momentum, energy and concentration equations via. Appropriate non-similarity transformations. These transformed conservation equations are solved subject to appropriate boundary conditions with a second order accurate finite difference method of the implicit type. The influences of the emerging parameters i.e. Casson fluid parameter (?), Brownian motion parameter (Nb) and thermophoresis parameter (Nt), Lewis number (Le), Buoyancy ratio parameter (N ), Prandtl number (Pr) and Biot number (Bi) on velocity, temperature and nano-particle concentration distributions is illustrated graphically and interpreted at length. Validation of solutions with a Nakamura tri-diagonal method has been included. The study is relevant to enrobing processes for electric-conductive nano-materials of potential use in aerospace and other industries.</text>

<text>The objective of this work is to study heat and mass transfer in an unsteady MHD free convective flow past an infinite vertical plate with constant suction numerically.  Dimensionless governing equations of the problem have been solved by using finite difference technique. Numerical solutions for temperature, velocity, concentration have been obtained for suitable parameters like Grashoff number, mass Grashoff number, Prandtl number and Schmidt number. Rate of heat transfer and mass transfer are studied. The results obtained are discussed with the help of graphs and tables to observe effect of various parameters concerned in the problem under investigation. Stability and convergence of the finite difference scheme is established. Key words: MHD, unsteady, constant suction, finite difference technique, Heat and mass transfer. doi:10.3329/jname.v5i1.1785 Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Vol. 5, No. 1 (June, 2008) 27-36</text>

<text>Applied augmented reality works by detecting imageries or pictures, normally called markers, by using smartphone camera that detects these preplaced markers. Augmented reality has seen wide application in various fields, one of them is education. In the field of education, augmented reality is utilized to make learning process more engaging and attractive. Starting from the problem that learning computer networks on introduce to network device which is currently still delivered conventionally. So, this research makes a solution to this problem by developing learning media using augmented reality (AR) technology, which is a technology that combines two-dimensional or three-dimensional virtual objects into a real environment and then projects these virtual objects in real time. The purpose of this research is to build AR-based applications in learning computer network devices in order to increase understanding, generate motivation and student interest. The methodology used in this research consist of Envisioning Phase(Problem Identification, Planning Phase(Planning), Developing Phase(Design), Stabilizing Phase(Testing), Deploying Phase(Implementation). This study uses 31 students as sample and the data was analyzed using the SUS(System Usability Scale). The result show evaluates the usability using SUS of 31 respondents and it can be concluded that this AR application can be accepted by these students in its use with SUS Score obtained was 78.5</text>

<text>One fact that is very often overlooked is that the ethnic Chinese in Indonesia, often referred to as Chinese Indonesians, play an important part in the diplomatic relations between Indonesia and People’s Republic of China (PRC.) The image that the majority Indonesians, especially the Muslim ones, have about the minority ethnic Chinese in Indonesia helps shape perspectives about PRC. Since the Chinese Indonesians have very often been discredited as pork-eating, ancestors-worshipping (which are deemed haram (forbidden) in Islam), rude, scheming, apolitical, greedy and only care about money, it is not a wonder that if coupled with the image of PRC as a closed country that is stuck in communism, the collective image of the Chinese in general can very well stand in the way of the two countries’ diplomatic relations. To counter this, in 2007 the PRC government through Confucius Institute launched partnerships with several major state and private universities in Indonesia. However, this essay focuses on Confucius Institute’s partnerships with Universitas Al-Azhar Indonesia (Al-Azhar University Indonesia (UAI)) in Jakarta and Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (Muhammadiyah University Malang (UMM)) in Malang, East Java, as PRC government’s tool to engage Indonesia’s Muslim majority in cultural diplomacy for the success of PRC and Indonesia’s relations.</text>

This study aims to determine students' scientific reasoning abilities in light matter. The method in this research was the descriptive method by using the survey technique. The instrument used is a description test consisting of 8 items of light matter. This test was conducted on 201 students from the eighth-grade junior high school in Banjarmasin selected at random. The RASCH model is used as a processing stage of data from raw data into logit numbers that provide information related to infit, outfit and unidimensionality using a winstep program to achieve this goal, this study investigated the quality of items from Item and person measure, Item Bias, item and person reliability, and variable map. The findings show that the scientific reasoning ability of the eighth-grade students can be at a low level. So researchers should strive to improve students' scientific reasoning abilities in future research.</text>

<text>After the implementation of the school closure policy, parents are acclimating to studying with their children due to the effects of COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study thoroughly discusses the involvement of parents in a child’s digital education, especially the experience of the mothers with elementary school students. The survey approach and qualitative methods are used to obtain 277 respondents from the population of parents in Berau, Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) are the data analysis technique used with the help of SmartPLS software version 3. The results shows that the direction of the relationship between the use of gadgets and maternal involvement is positive, hence the hypothesis decision is accepted. The digital learning of children includes letter and number recognition, reading, learning to count, coloring, drawing, playing educational games, and studying. Some of the mothers’ involvement includes explaining websites accessible by children to communicate politely on social media. These results are valuable insights for parents in providing involvement in digital learning for elementary school students.</text>

<text>The purpose of this research was to produce a model that can be used as a reference in implementing hybrid learning and Problem Based Learning (PBL) in learning with the MoLearn application. This research was included in Research and Development/R&D type by developing the right learning model for the MoLearn application. The Blended Web Mobile Leaning (BWML) model test was conducted related to its validity and practicality. The result of research showed (1) quality test with average content validity (3.72) statistically in (rα = 0.25) and reliability in (α = 81), average construct validity (3.74), with validity of each aspect statistically in (rα = 0.20) and reliability in (α = 0.75). It can be concluded that the BWML model is qualified (valid in content and constructs, and reliable) by experts. (2) The feasibility test (practically used by students) had an average of 3.23 with a statistical aspect validity in rα = 0.91 and reliability in α = 0.99 This can mean that students stated that the model has novelty and is easy to use. The implication of this research is that a quality BWML model can be used to improve HOTs-based learning outcomes. Further research can be focused on looking at the effectiveness of the BWML model for improving HOTs-based learning outcomes</text>
