<text>Art and literature are part as well as a reflection of life. Literature and arts help to observe and interpret the world. They can also change the world. Visual arts stand in the forefront of knowledge dissemination. However the significance accorded to literature has never been given to painting. The paper traces how literature has always preceded and given more priority against painting and other visual arts form in the region of Kerala. This also goes with the fact that in discussing the history of arts, rural arts and artists are never discussed sufficiently. This is despite the fact that there is always a closer relationship between alphabets, scripts and paintings of various forms. The paper traces this close relationship to the earlier times when the scripts and written forms essentially evolved from hand drawings and stone carvings in the context of the south Indian language Malayalam. That the scripts and alphabets essentially evolved from those early pictographs should be a useful background to understand the relationship. The paper also marks the historical transitions in the Malayalam alphabets and scripts under various influences.</text>

<text>As people age, maintaining and improving their Quality of Life becomes increasingly important. To understand the impact of smartphone technology and communications applications on Quality of Life, a quasi-experimental study was conducted with elderly people living in Shiraz-Iran. The study population included all the registered senior in public health centers in Shiraz, Fars, Iran during 2018 and 2019. Overall, 119 elderly people participated in the study. The study randomly categorized participants into intervention (59 participants with mean age 66.19±2.73) and control (60 participants with mean age 66.67±3.00) groups. They were asked to answer the validated Persian version of the Control, Autonomy, Self-realisation, Pleasure scale (CASP-19) scale questionnaire for Quality of Life assessment. A significant mean difference was observed by the paired t-test between pre-and post-test (t= -8.61, p<0.00), post-and follow-up-test (t= -2.24, p=0.02), and pre-test and follow-up test (t= -8.42, p<0.00) in the intervention group. The results of paired t-test for the control group showed no significant mean difference between pre-test and post-test (t= 1.35, p=0.18), post-test and follow-up test (t= 0.38, p=0.70) and pre-test and follow-up test (t= 1.94, p=0.06) for Quality of Life. The rationale for this study, along with the educational training associated with it, was to help families, and the aging field practitioners to understand the importance of modern communication technology teaching to promote a greater Life Quality in the community of the elderly.

<text>This work analyses discussions on women‟s education (formal and informal) in Malayalam magazines from the late 19th and early 20th century and demonstrates how these discussions were instrumental in imagining a new figure of the Malayali woman. The work provides a cultural history of Malayali women‟s education through this analysis and probes the nuances of what it meant to get educated for the Malayali women. While developmental discourse on Kerala tends to provide a linear and celebratory account of women‟s educational progress in the state, this article tries to show that progress was not easy: women had to prove that education was necessary, and that education would not lead them astray, that education would not take them away from the space of the domestic, that women could work in spaces outside the family.</text>

All relevant parties to the Kashmir questions have had a role to play in this quagmire of intrigue and deceit. Any resolution is only conceivable if there is acceptance of the role that each has played in bringing the situation to the current pass and taking magnanimous steps in undoing the errors that have given rise to ill- perceptions on all sides. Technological development in education is the use of Android which is a medium for mobile learning that is more flexible. Online based mobile learning provides opportunities for students to study anytime and anywhere. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of electronic guide books and electronic-based assessment in a basic physics practicum with reflectance material on a flat mirror. The study involved 65 physics education students with 35 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. This research is true experimental research with the post-test end-experimental control group design. Based on the evaluation, in very good category at the communication’s indicator and classification’s indicator for experimental class, and in very good category at the compiles the data table’s indicator, for control class.</text>

<text>Engineering education is an important part of preparing quality graduates for the challenges of the Covid-19 and post-pandemic conditions, and electronics engineering education is no exception. Blended learning-based projects as an alternative to innovative learning at this time. This study aims to explore and explain the application of blended learning-based projects in electronics engineering education courses. The research method used is a project-based product design and development carried out by blended learning. We conduct our project activities in higher education special students from Electronic Engineering Education that take part in the learning of this project. Students who participate are only limited to small groups to avoid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 1 small group consisting of 3-5 people and there is 1 group leader who manages the work, while other members are supportive and help complete joint projects. The results of this study show the ability of students to work by implementing project-based learning in producing products, namely Exhaust Fan products based on Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) as a form of a mini prototype that can be used for small household scale industries. The ability of students to work on product manufacturing by applying the principles of project-based learning in the category already has the ability to, skilled and thoroughly working on the project that was planned until it succeeded in becoming a product prototype which was carried out in project-based blended learning.</text>

<text>The development of a tool to analyse data collected in car road tests is presented, allowing a better understanding of the Physics of car motion. Using the measured data of fuel consumption and the main variables related to the vehicle displacement, it is possible to make corrections to the influence of the main disturbing factors and clearly improve the quality of road tests based evaluations. Thus, the fuel consumption rate is continuously recorded during the motion of the vehicle, whereas the power required to ensure displacement can be calculated using a simulation model with the data recorded during a path. Integrating over time the average power values at each interval, the energy necessary to ensure the vehicle displacement is calculated, while integrating the fuel rate over the duration of the path, the fuel consumption is computed. The ratio between the theoretically required energy and the one actually spent provides the conversion efficiency of the vehicle propulsion system. The developed tool is very useful in the framework of the courses about car dynamics included in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Programmes. The developed tool couples data collected during road tests with a simulation model that computes all the force components acting on the car body during the motion. It has been written in LabView and an attractive graphical interface is used to keep the attention of the students when the data is displayed in real-time or analysed based upon previously recorded files.</text>
