<text>Head movement has been found to be a natural way of interaction. It can be used as an alternative control method and provides accessibility for users when used in human computer interface solutions. The combination of Head-mounted displays (HMDs) with mobile devices, provide an innovation of new low cost of human-computer interaction. Such devices are hands-free systems. In this paper, we introduce a new method for recognizing head movement as the controller of mobile application and proposed a new control system using head movement only. The proposed method can determine specific head pose movement and respond it as a controller. The implementation of a music player application on an iOS devices shows that the proposed method is appropriate for a new experience of real-time human-computer interaction with head movement control only.</text>

<text>Community health workers (CHWs) are the basis of public health services that aim to connect the gap between public health and the human service system. This gap can be completely bridged by navigating the health and human service systems and educating communities on disease prevention. Unfortunately, the way of sharing, accessing information, and delivering health services is still non-digitalized in Rwanda. Community Health workers use a manual system in their daily activities, which is prone to error and falsification. Moreover, these people selected to perform these activities often do not have adequate knowledge about diseases and health systems since they are not professional health workers. To address the above problem, we designed a prototype mobile application to enable these workers to automatically submit reports, transfer knowledge, share information, and receive training from professionals. The design process followed a User-Centered Design approach to meet the users’ requirements. The evaluation of the design showed that 91.7% of the CHWs agreed with the designed application prototype. This finding shows that CHWs has an interest in using the mobile application in their work. Using the mobile application will help CHWs to improve data collection, the reporting process, and ease of receiving training.</text>

<text>Telecommunication technology serves several fields in the world. One of the most significant fields is the emergency services to provide a fast connection between the case, the vehicle and emergency treatment office. This paper is a part of a long-term project to design a reliable communication system service to be used for emergency services of a specific city. The hardware devices of this system are intended to work within an mm waves frequencies. In the current research, as a starting point, an exhaustive study accomplished to pave the way to the main goal of the project. The system uses OFDM technology to improve the performance of the system. Other requirements for error correction are also included in the model such as convolutional, hamming coding and interleaving. The system development is supported by a Matlab interface software to simulate the job of an IoT real-time network covering both vehicles and the control centres.</text>

<text>In terms of cultivating lettuce using hydroponic media there are several things that mustbe considered such as pH levels, water temperature and sufficient light requirements.Manually checking is done so badly by the farmer that it takes a lot of time, therefore an automation system is needed in this case to overcome routine checks. This system is an alternative to modern control systems to optimize the control of pH levels, water temperature of Arduino-based lettuce plants, and the addition of a 40 watt LED lamp, pH measurement using the SEN0161 pH sensor, for measuring water temperature using the Ds18b20 sensor. Control of pH and water temperature is carried out automatically, using a peltier as a coolant and a selenoid valve as a dropping liquid pH until it reaches the required value, i.e., a pH level of 6.0-7.0, a water temperature <27 ° C and a 40 watt LED lamp as an addition to light intake in plants The stability of water temperature and pH levels that are always maintained by this tool can save time for farmers in routine checking of pH and water temperature, this tool also produces better growth of lettuce compared to the usual method.

<text>This paper proposes a new thin curved sensor/strip to measure the relative slip between pad and specimen under fretting condition. Since the relative contact displacement is an important parameter to categorize the fretting process, the measurement of contact displacement between pad and specimen is necessary. Because of high yield strength and the ability to return to its initial position even with notable deflection, the spring steel have chosen to fabricate the thin curved strip. Before the fabrication, the detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of the thin curved sensor was carried out. The strip consists of different shapes (rectangular, circular and elliptical) of slots and the number of slots in each strip is varied from 2 to 6. The Strain Energy Approach (SEA) has been used to calculate the displacement for the curved strip and it was compared, verified and validated with its FEA and Experimental results. From FEA study of thin curved strip with slots, four configurations were chosen to measure micro level displacement between pad and specimen under fretting experiments. The study reveals that the increasing number and size of holes presented in the curved strip indicate that the increased in displacement and von-Mises stress values which offers the higher flexibility to the strip. The reduction in area and minimum thickness of the curved strip could be the reason for the decrease in the stiffness of the curved strip. This study explores the use of new simple and novel instrument/sensor to capture the micro level relative displacement between the pad and specimen under fretting condition.</text>

These antennas can work on various frequencies ranging from low to high for a huge variety of applications including medical, military and quite a few more. This paper presents the textile antennas those are designed for Wi-MAX application with the frequency range of 3.09–3.94 GHz, fifth generation (5G) lower band with the resonant frequency of 4.23–5.65 GHz and UWB 4.62–10.74 GHz applications. This work also introducing a single C-shape etching slot (CSES) in a rectangular patch antenna. The textile substrate (jeans) has been applied to reduce the surface wave losses and design a wearable textile antenna using microstrip line feed technology. Bending effect up to 750 and radiation effect on human tissue as specific absorption rate (SAR) are analyzed using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) tools. Textile antennas for multiple band applications can be created using CSES which can be attributed to cotton, denim cotton and polyester.</text>

<text>Game has been proven an effective approach tool to improve learning and has become a new tool for training delivery. The development of the gamification framework involves integrating design processes which are input, process, and output. The design phase is considered essential to guide the flow of the gamification framework. It offers a safer, interactive, and entertaining learning environment for construction-related workers. This paper aims to report on the approach to design a gamification framework for hazard identification training in Construction using Garris's Input-Process-Outcome game model as the basis. It focuses on the three main design elements: instructional design, game characteristic, and user characteristic. The study outlines two objectives: (1) to identify the game's attributes and Gagne's Nine Events Instructional Methods Design which supports effective learning, and (2) to determine the user's characteristics of self-directed learning. This study focused on designing the Design phase, which consists of three main elements, i.e. instructional design, game characteristics and user characteristics. Mixed methods were used to extract the attributes and elements of the Design phase. Content analysis was carried out to determine the model of instructional design and game attributes. The findings show 12 attributes of the game through content analysis methods. Gagne's Nine Events Instructional Methods Design can support effective learning. Meanwhile, a questionnaire survey was subsequently administered to determine the user's ability to self-directed learning and decision-making style, where 319 construction-related workers responded. Data were analysed using mean comparison. The results showed that construction-related workers belong to the independent learners' category and are inclined to 'vigilant' and 'brooding' types of decision-making style. Findings confirmed that construction-related workers belong to the independent learners' category and are inclined to 'vigilant' and 'brooding' types of decision-making style. Following the aim of this paper, these findings were incorporated into the design phase of the game framework. </text>

<text>This paper presents the design, development, and evaluation of the Robobug board game, which was developed to foster computational thinking (CT) among primary school pupils in Malaysia, particularly those who encounter computer and Internet access issues. Utilizing Richey and Klein's design and development (DDR) methodologies, this research serves as a primer by first concentrating on needs analysis for the design, then converting it into the development of the board game. The focus of this study was on how the design aspects of Robobug might help children grasp CT principles and foster CT practices. The Robobug board game was initially assessed remotely via questionnaire by a panel of eight subject matter experts from Malaysian institutions. Using the questionnaire and evaluation rubrics, experts were asked to offer insights with the following objectives: (i) to evaluate the design features; (ii) to examine the computational concepts; and (iii) to examine the computational practices of the Robobug board game. The research found that the Robobug board game has significant potential for use as an unplugged tool and alternative technique for instructors to enhance CT abilities outside the typical classroom. Additionally, it can be utilized to incorporate collaborative and game-based learning into teachers' instructional strategies to boost student engagement and achievement. The Robobug board game's shortcomings and suggestions for improvement are discussed.</text>
